CVSS v3.1 |
| Transmission of the home Wi-Fi credentials without encryption during the pairing process between the DuoxMe application and VEO and VEO-XS Wi-Fi monitors, in versions prior to 4.3.4 of the application and 01.50.001 of the monitor firmware, allows an attacker on the Wi-Fi Direct network to intercept the network password. |
| An issue in the /api/v2/setting/adserversetting endpoint of Suprema BioStar 2 before 2.9.12 and and BioStar X before 1.0.2 allows attackers to obtain Active Directory service account credentials in cleartext by supplying a crafted GET request. |
| Nozomi Networks Labs identified a CWE-319: Cleartext Transmission of Sensitive Information vulnerability in the edgserver management protocol of Advantech EKI-1242EIMS in firmware version V1.06.01 that allows a network-adjacent passive observer to intercept management traffic and recover sensitive device identity and network metadata in cleartext. |
| Http4s is a Scala interface for HTTP services. Prior to 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47, The FollowRedirect client middleware strips Authorization and Cookie headers only when a redirect changes authority, but authority comparison excludes the URI scheme. A same-authority redirect from HTTPS to HTTP therefore preserves credentials and transmits them over a plaintext connection. An attacker who can induce the downgrade and observe the network can capture those sensitive headers from applications using FollowRedirect. This issue is fixed in versions 0.23.35 and 1.0.0-M47. |
| atomic-agents-stack before 1.1.0 accepts cleartext HTTP schemes in the HTTP MCP server-registry backend factory, allowing network man-in-the-middle attackers to rewrite catalog responses. Attackers can inject arbitrary command and argument values that are spawned as local subprocesses by MCPClientPool to achieve code execution on the agent host. |
| rclone is a command-line program to sync files and directories to and from different cloud storage providers. From 1.49.0 until 1.75.1, the HTTP backend attaches headers configured through --http-headers or headers= to requests in backend/http/http.go, while its fshttp.NewClient client follows redirects without a backend-specific http.Client.CheckRedirect policy. A configured remote that redirects to another host can therefore cause custom secrets such as X-Api-Key to be resent to that untrusted destination, and a same-host HTTPS-to-HTTP redirect can expose Authorization or Cookie headers in cleartext. Listing, stat, download, mount, and serve operations can trigger the leak during normal use. This issue is fixed in version 1.75.1. |
| Cleartext transmission of sensitive data in HttpsUpgrades in Google Chrome on on iOS prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker to leak sensitive information via crafted network traffic. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| The C6 ear camera transmits live video to the EarVision Android application over unencrypted UDP streams. The application manifest permits cleartext traffic, and captured network traffic contains reconstructable JPEG or WEBP video frames transmitted over UDP. An attacker within local wireless range may capture and reconstruct the live video stream without transport encryption. |
| U-speed WIFI4 N300 T1 Pro v1.0.0 is vulnerable to Cleartext transmission of administration credentials over HTTP. |
| A vulnerability exists in the Dynamic DNS (DDNS) functionality of TP-Link Omada Gateways. During communication with a third-party DDNS service, authentication credentials are transmitted over an unencrypted channel. An attacker who can observe or manipulate traffic between an affected device and the DDNS service may obtain sensitive authentication information or interfere with DDNS update operations. Exploitation requires DDNS to be configured, communication with an external DDNS service, and attacker visibility or control of the relevant network path.
Successful exploitation may result in disclosure of DDNS account credentials, unauthorized access to DDNS management functionality, or modification of DNS records associated with the affected deployment. |
| PagerDuty alarm hook transmits the integration routing key over cleartext HTTP.
PagerDuty serves this endpoint over HTTPS and will
normally answer plain HTTP with a redirect. That does not remove the exposure.
The initial POST -- including the JSON body containing the routing key -- is
written to the socket unencrypted before any redirect response is received.
Redirection affects only whether the request is retried securely, not whether
the first copy left the host in the clear.
This issue affects Apache SkyWalking: from 9.6.0 through 11.0.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.0, which fixes the issue. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in SCALANCE LPE9403 (6GK5998-3GS00-2AC2) (All versions < V2.1 HF0 with SINEMA Remote Connect Edge Client installed). Affected devices do transmit sensitive information in cleartext.
This could allow a privileged local attacker to retrieve this sensitive information. |
| HTTPX2 is a next generation HTTP client for Python. Prior to 2.10.0, httpcore2 fails to start TLS in src/httpcore2/httpcore2/_sync/socks_proxy.py and src/httpcore2/httpcore2/_async/socks_proxy.py when the remote origin uses wss through a SOCKS5 proxy because the TLS upgrade condition only recognizes https. HTTPX2 exposes the flaw through Client.websocket() and AsyncClient.websocket() from 2.6.0 through 2.9.1, so the opening handshake, query parameters, Authorization headers, cookies, and subsequent frames can cross the proxy path in plaintext without certificate verification. An attacker controlling or observing that path can read or modify traffic and impersonate the WebSocket server. This issue is fixed in httpcore2 2.10.0 and HTTPX2 2.10.0. |
| A vulnerability in an API endpoint of AOS-CX could allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to obtain sensitive information via a man-in-the-middle attack. Successful exploitation allows an attacker to retrieve data which could be used to further compromise the confidentiality of the affected system. |
| Potential security vulnerabilities have been identified in HP Easy Start for macOS, versions prior to 2.16.7.260722. These potential vulnerabilities may lead to escalation of privilege. HP is releasing updates to mitigate these potential vulnerabilities. |
| A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of HPE Networking Fabric Composer could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to gain insight into some data handled by the affected interface. A successful exploit could allow an attacker to gain access to some data in a cleartext format possibly exposing other network infrastructure to further compromise. |
| Scrapy is a high-level web crawling and scraping framework for Python. Prior to 2.17.0, in scrapy/core/downloader/handlers/s3.py, Scrapy's S3DownloadHandler converts an S3-scheme bucket and key request into a plaintext HTTP request to the corresponding S3 endpoint unless request.meta["is_secure"] is explicitly enabled, then signs and sends the plaintext request with configured AWS credentials. A network attacker who can observe traffic between Scrapy and S3 can read the bucket and key path, AWS Authorization header, X-Amz-Security-Token when temporary credentials are used, S3 object contents, and S3 response headers. An active man-in-the-middle attacker can also modify the plaintext S3 response body, status code, and headers before Scrapy processes them, causing scraped-data poisoning, poisoned exports, HTTP cache poisoning when caching is enabled, or influence over later crawl targets through forged redirects or attacker-controlled links. Users making S3-scheme requests with AWS credentials are affected. This issue is fixed in version 2.17.0. |
| openssl_encrypt versions before 1.4.9 fail to validate server URLs in login and register_with_email functions, accepting unencrypted http:// URLs and unconfigured hosts. Attackers on the network path can intercept cleartext credentials including client_id, passwords, and JWTs to achieve full keyserver account takeover. |
| When the ClickHouse plugin uses Native protocol (the default) with PDC or secure SOCKS, it asks for TLS but the connection library ignores that and talks to ClickHouse in the clear. Username, password, queries, and results can be read on the hop after the proxy. The server certificate is never checked, and a configured client certificate is not sent. |
| MariaDB Connector/Node.js is used to connect applications developed on Node.js to MariaDB and MySQL databases. Prior to 3.2.4, 3.3.3, 3.4.6, and 3.5.3, MariaDB Connector/Node.js can disclose an account password when PAM dialog authentication is negotiated over an insecure transport. In lib/cmd/handshake/auth/pam-password-auth.js and lib/cmd/handshake/authentication.js, the SendPamAuthPacketFactory behavior for the server-side plugin dialog lacked the secure-transport gate applied to mysql_clear_password. With the default sslMode=DISABLE and restrictedAuth=null settings, a hostile or on-path server can send an Authentication Switch Request for dialog over plain TCP, causing the connector to return the account password in cleartext. Properly verified TLS and a local Unix socket prevent this path, while fingerprint-only server identity validation is not sufficient. This issue is fixed in versions 3.2.4, 3.3.3, 3.4.6, and 3.5.3. |
