CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nvme-fabrics: fix DHCHAP secret leak on parse failure
nvmf_parse_options() duplicates dhchap_secret and dhchap_ctrl_secret
with match_strdup() before validating the DHHC-1: representation.
If validation fails, the parser returns -EINVAL before the temporary
string in p is assigned to opts->dhchap_secret or
opts->dhchap_ctrl_secret. nvmf_create_ctrl() subsequently frees opts,
but nvmf_free_options() cannot release the unassigned temporary string.
Each rejected option therefore leaks one allocation.
This is easy to miss because valid secrets transfer ownership to opts
and are freed normally, while the malformed-secret path still returns
the expected -EINVAL to userspace.
With CONFIG_NVME_HOST_AUTH enabled, the leak is reachable before the
required-option checks and transport lookup. No NVMe-oF target or
working transport connection is required; for example, repeatedly
writing
dhchap_secret=BAD
or
dhchap_ctrl_secret=BAD
to /dev/nvme-fabrics deterministically takes the leaking parse path.
Free the temporary string before leaving both validation error paths.
Use kfree_sensitive() because the copied option may contain secret
material even when its representation is rejected, matching the
sensitive cleanup used for stored DHCHAP secrets. |
Nozomi Networks Labs identified a CWE-352: Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in the LuCI administrative web interface of Advantech EKI-1242IEIMS in firmware version V1.06.01 that allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to perform unauthorized state-changing requests on behalf of a logged-in administrator, enabling unauthorized access to privileged management functions.
django-page-cms through 2.0.13 exempts five admin mutation views from CSRF protection in pages/admin/views.py, allowing attackers to forge requests that modify page content. Signed-in editors visiting a malicious page can be tricked into storing unescaped content that renders to all visitors, enabling stored cross-site scripting attacks.
djust provides Phoenix LiveView-style reactive server-side rendering for Django with Rust-powered performance. Prior to version 1.0.7, when a Django `Model` instance is assigned to a public view attribute, djust serialized it to the client with no sensitive-field denylist — sending fields such as `password` (the hash), privilege flags (e.g. `is_staff` / `is_superuser`), tokens, and other PII to the browser. Because exposing model objects to templates is a normal djust pattern, this could leak credentials/PII without the developer realizing the full object crossed the wire. This is fixed in djust 1.0.7. Model serialization applies a secure-by-default sensitive-field denylist (password/hash/token/secret-style fields and known privilege flags are withheld) with an identity-subset fallback. As a workaround, keep `Model` instances on `_private` attributes and expose only the specific fields needed, until patched.
vm2 before 3.11.8 does not fully enforce the allowAsync: false option in VM and NodeVM. While localPromise.prototype.then is replaced with a handler that throws 'Async not available', the sandbox's Promise static methods (Promise.resolve, Promise.all, Promise.race, Promise.any, and Promise.allSettled) still assimilate attacker-supplied thenables: native promise resolution performs PromiseResolveThenableJob and invokes the sandboxed code's then method in a microtask without passing through the patched then, so the async restriction is never applied. As a result, sandboxed script can schedule work that runs after VM.run() or NodeVM.run() has returned and outside the configured timeout, continuing to execute after the host believes execution is complete.
Unauthenticated Cross Site Request Forgery (CSRF) in PublishPress Series <= 3.1.3 versions.
CubeCart is an ecommerce software solution. Prior to 6.7.5, the reset_id download-counter action and delete_card stored-payment-card action in admin/sources/orders.index.inc.php use state-changing GET requests and are omitted from the protection map in admin/skins/default/csrf.inc.php. A remote attacker can induce an authenticated administrator to issue one of these requests without a validated session token, causing unintended resets of electronic download usage counters or deletion of stored customer payment-card tokens. This issue is fixed in version 6.7.5.
A cryptographic issue was addressed with improved integrity checks. This issue is fixed in iOS 27 and iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate 27, tvOS 27, watchOS 27. An attacker in a privileged network position may be able to modify network traffic.
Dell OpenManage Server Administrator, versions prior to 11.1.0.3, contains a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Remote execution.
Unauthenticated Cross Site Request Forgery (CSRF) in Xagio SEO <= 7.1.0.43 versions.
Speakr is a personal, self-hosted web application designed for transcribing audio recordings. Prior to 0.8.21-alpha, the csrf_exempt_for_api_tokens() before_request hook in src/app.py calls csrf.exempt(view_func), permanently adding the selected view to Flask-WTF's process-global exemption set. The is_token_authenticated() function in src/utils/token_auth.py calls extract_token_from_request() and treats any present token, including request.args.get('token'), as authenticated without hashing the token, querying the database, or checking validity. A network-reachable attacker can therefore send a false token to disable CSRF protection for the targeted view for the worker lifetime. Because the exemption applies to the view function across HTTP methods, a cross-origin GET to /account with a query token can poison CSRF state for a later state-changing POST without triggering CORS preflight. This browser sequence requires attacker-controlled content on a sibling subdomain under the documented cookie conditions. The bypass can modify profile data, custom prompts, transcription settings, preferences, and administrative status through routes such as admin_toggle_admin. The change_password route also skips current-password verification when current_user.password is empty, allowing the chain to set a local password on an SSO-only account and bypass SSO. This issue is fixed in version 0.8.21-alpha.
rhwp is an HWP viewer and editor implemented in Rust and WebAssembly. Prior to rhwp 0.7.15 and rhwp Chrome and Firefox extension 0.2.4, the browser extensions use an all-URLs host permission to detect HWP and HWPX links on visited pages, but the service workers do not validate message senders, URL schemes, or destination addresses before privileged fetches. The affected paths are rhwp-chrome/manifest.json, rhwp-chrome/content-script.js, rhwp-chrome/sw/message-router.js, rhwp-chrome/sw/thumbnail-extractor.js, rhwp-firefox/manifest.json, rhwp-firefox/content-script.js, rhwp-firefox/sw/message-router.js, and rhwp-firefox/sw/thumbnail-extractor.js. An untrusted page can make the fetch-file and extract-thumbnail handlers request localhost or private-network resources. When a target HWP or HWPX file contains an extractable PrvImage, the extension returns the preview as a data URI in page-readable DOM, allowing page script to read it. The flaw also permits internal-resource existence and port probing and extension presence or version fingerprinting. Exploitation requires a user to visit an untrusted page while the extension is enabled, and preview disclosure is limited to an extractable PrvImage. This issue is fixed in rhwp 0.7.15 and rhwp Chrome and Firefox extension 0.2.4.
AVideo (WWBN/AVideo) through 29.0 (commit e01e41ecc) is vulnerable to cross-site request forgery. objects/videoAddNew.json.php disables AVideo's automatic CSRF guard ($global['skipAutoCSRFCheck']) and the untrusted-request check ($global['bypassSameDomainCheck']) merely because 'user' and 'pass' parameters are present in the request; the values are never validated and are read from $_REQUEST, so an attacker can supply them in the query string of a cross-site request. Because User::loginFromRequestIfNotLogged() returns immediately when a session already exists, a victim who is authenticated by cookie satisfies the check while the attacker-supplied credentials are discarded. An attacker who lures an authenticated user with upload rights to visit a crafted page can therefore submit cross-origin requests that modify video records — including ownership transfer (setUsers_id), deletion of user-group access restrictions, can_download, can_share, only_for_paid, video_password, rating, status, creation date, and view count. For a victim with administrator or Permissions::canAdminVideos() rights, any video on the site can be altered, including removing group restrictions from private content. No patched version was available at the time of the advisory.
Mitigation bypass in the DOM: Notifications component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 156, Firefox ESR 153.3, Thunderbird 156, and Thunderbird 153.3.
`@zereight/mcp-gitlab` is a Model Context Protocol server for GitLab. Versions prior to 2.1.30 expose the Streamable HTTP MCP endpoint without an effective Host or Origin allowlist. A malicious web page can use DNS rebinding to route browser requests to a victim's local MCP listener while preserving an attacker-controlled `Host` and `Origin`. The server accepts those headers and reaches the MCP initialization path instead of rejecting the request at the HTTP boundary. Version 2.1.30 contains a patch.
Netcore NR268 firmware version 1.7.121109 has an improper integrity verification flaw in mtd_write allowing forged firmware authenticity checks. Attackers can exploit put_file.cgi and check_image_uuid.c to bypass firmware signature validation and load unauthorized firmware images.
Netcore NR268 firmware version 1.7.121109 contains a security check bypass vulnerability in the parame_put_file.cgi restore archive prefix validation. Attackers can exploit the flawed prefix check in put_parame_file_cgi.c to bypass restricted restore archive handling.
Netcore NR255-V version 1.5.130703 contains a sensitive information disclosure vulnerability in the audit endpoints handled by l7_web_auth_log_dump_cgi.c, audit_get_cgi.c, and mod_dispatch_auth/plan.json. Attackers can query these audit components to obtain other users' session and browsing history data across sessions.
Netcore NR255-V firmware version 1.5.130703 contains a cross-site request forgery vulnerability affecting the wan_config_set_cgi, wan_num_set_cgi, and lan_ip_change_cgi endpoints. Attackers can craft forged requests to trick authenticated administrators into modifying WAN or LAN network configuration settings without consent.
Unauthenticated Cross Site Request Forgery (CSRF) in Asset CleanUp: Page Speed Booster <= 1.4.0.5 versions.
