CVSS v3.1 |
| Versions of the package jsondiffpatch before 0.7.2 are vulnerable to Cross-site Scripting (XSS) via HtmlFormatter::nodeBegin. An attacker can inject malicious scripts into HTML payloads that may lead to code execution if untrusted payloads were used as source for the diff, and the result renderer using the built-in html formatter on a private website. |
| The sequence of packets received by a Networking server are not correctly checked.
An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to send specially crafted messages to force the application to stop. |
| Some payload elements of the messages sent between two stations in a networking architecture are not properly checked on the receiving station allowing an attacker to execute unauthorized commands in the application. |
| The vulnerability affects Ignition SCADA applications where Python
scripting is utilized for automation purposes. The vulnerability arises
from the absence of proper security controls that restrict which Python
libraries can be imported and executed within the scripting environment.
The core issue lies in the Ignition service account having system
permissions beyond what an Ignition privileged user requires. When an
authenticated administrator uploads a malicious project file containing
Python scripts with bind shell capabilities, the application executes
these scripts with the same privileges as the Ignition Gateway process,
which typically runs with SYSTEM-level permissions on Windows.
Alternative code execution patterns could lead to similar results. |
| File::Find::Rule through 0.34 for Perl is vulnerable to Arbitrary Code Execution when `grep()` encounters a crafted filename.
A file handle is opened with the 2 argument form of `open()` allowing an attacker controlled filename to provide the MODE parameter to `open()`, turning the filename into a command to be executed.
Example:
$ mkdir /tmp/poc; echo > "/tmp/poc/|id"
$ perl -MFile::Find::Rule \
-E 'File::Find::Rule->grep("foo")->in("/tmp/poc")'
uid=1000(user) gid=1000(user) groups=1000(user),100(users) |
| WS-WN572HP3 V230525 was discovered to contain a buffer overflow in the component /www/cgi-bin/upload.cgi. This vulnerability allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted HTTP request. |
| Unauthorized access to "/api/Token/gettoken" endpoint in EZD RP allows file manipulation.This issue affects EZD RP in versions before 20.19 (published on 22nd August 2024). |
| Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability was discovered in the Pichome system v2.1.0 and before. The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user input in the login form. An attacker can inject malicious JavaScript code into the username or password fields during the login process |
| OpenStack Ironic before 29.0.1 can write unintended files to a target node disk during image handling (if a deployment was performed via the API). A malicious project assigned as a node owner can provide a path to any local file (readable by ironic-conductor), which may then be written to the target node disk. This is difficult to exploit in practice, because a node deployed in this manner should never reach the ACTIVE state, but it still represents a danger in environments running with non-default, insecure configurations such as with automated cleaning disabled. The fixed versions are 24.1.3, 26.1.1, and 29.0.1. |
| Poppler 24.06.1 through 25.x before 25.04.0 allows stack consumption and a SIGSEGV via deeply nested structures within the metadata (such as GTS_PDFEVersion) of a PDF document, e.g., a regular expression for a long pdfsubver string. This occurs in Dict::lookup, Catalog::getMetadata, and associated functions in PDFDoc, with deep recursion in the regex executor (std::__detail::_Executor). |
| The VerticalResponse Newsletter Widget plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's 'verticalresponse' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 1.6 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. |
| Cross-Frame Scripting (XFS) vulnerability in BoomCMS v9.1.4 from UXB London. XFS is a web attack technique that exploits specific browser bugs to spy on users via JavaScript. This type of attack is based on social engineering and depends entirely on the browser chosen by the user, so it is perceived as a minor threat to web application security. This vulnerability only works in older browsers. |
| Control Panel provides an API for pre-registering into an enrollment and organization prior to a user's first login. The API for creating users checks that the account requesting a user creation has `edit` on the enrollment-level user directory, but is missing a separate check that the enrollment editor has access (or belongs to) the organization that they are adding a user to. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/sysfb: Do not dereference NULL pointer in plane reset
The plane state in __drm_gem_reset_shadow_plane() can be NULL. Do not
deref that pointer, but forward NULL to the other plane-reset helpers.
Clears plane->state to NULL.
v2:
- fix typo in commit description (Javier) |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
perf/x86/intel: Fix KASAN global-out-of-bounds warning
When running "perf mem record" command on CWF, the below KASAN
global-out-of-bounds warning is seen.
==================================================================
BUG: KASAN: global-out-of-bounds in cmt_latency_data+0x176/0x1b0
Read of size 4 at addr ffffffffb721d000 by task dtlb/9850
Call Trace:

intel_pmu_drain_arch_pebs+0x577/0xb00
handle_pmi_common+0x6c4/0xc80
The issue is caused by below code in __grt_latency_data(). The code
tries to access x86_hybrid_pmu structure which doesn't exist on
non-hybrid platform like CWF.
WARN_ON_ONCE(hybrid_pmu(event->pmu)->pmu_type == hybrid_big)
So add is_hybrid() check before calling this WARN_ON_ONCE to fix the
global-out-of-bounds access issue. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
sysfs: check visibility before changing group attribute ownership
Since commit 0c17270f9b92 ("net: sysfs: Implement is_visible for
phys_(port_id, port_name, switch_id)"), __dev_change_net_namespace() can
hit WARN_ON() when trying to change owner of a file that isn't visible.
See the trace below:

Fix this by checking is_visible() before trying to touch the attribute. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
arm64: mte: Do not warn if the page is already tagged in copy_highpage()
The arm64 copy_highpage() assumes that the destination page is newly
allocated and not MTE-tagged (PG_mte_tagged unset) and warns
accordingly. However, following commit 060913999d7a ("mm: migrate:
support poisoned recover from migrate folio"), folio_mc_copy() is called
before __folio_migrate_mapping(). If the latter fails (-EAGAIN), the
copy will be done again to the same destination page. Since
copy_highpage() already set the PG_mte_tagged flag, this second copy
will warn.
Replace the WARN_ON_ONCE(page already tagged) in the arm64
copy_highpage() with a comment. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
platform/mellanox: mlxbf-pmc: add sysfs_attr_init() to count_clock init

this warning. |
| A Server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability has been identified in the SMA1000 Appliance Work Place interface. By using an encoded URL, a remote unauthenticated attacker could potentially cause the appliance to make requests to unintended location. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
slab: Avoid race on slab->obj_exts in alloc_slab_obj_exts
If two competing threads enter alloc_slab_obj_exts() and one of them
fails to allocate the object extension vector, it might override the
valid slab->obj_exts allocated by the other thread with
OBJEXTS_ALLOC_FAIL. This will cause the thread that lost this race and
expects a valid pointer to dereference a NULL pointer later on.
Update slab->obj_exts atomically using cmpxchg() to avoid
slab->obj_exts overrides by racing threads.
Thanks for Vlastimil and Suren's help with debugging. |
