CVSS v3.1 |
| A privilege escalation vulnerability in Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS software allows a PAN-OS administrator with access to the management web interface to perform actions on the firewall with root privileges.
Cloud NGFW and Prisma Access are not impacted by this vulnerability. |
| Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) 8.8.15 and 9.0 has mboximport functionality that receives a ZIP archive and extracts files from it. By bypassing authentication (i.e., not having an authtoken), an attacker can upload arbitrary files to the system, leading to directory traversal and remote code execution. NOTE: this issue exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2022-27925. |
| An issue was discovered in the Calendar feature in Zimbra Collaboration Suite 8.8.x before 8.8.15 patch 30 (update 1), as exploited in the wild starting in December 2021. An attacker could place HTML containing executable JavaScript inside element attributes. This markup becomes unescaped, causing arbitrary markup to be injected into the document. |
| Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the ZmMailMsgView.getAttachmentLinkHtml function in Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) before 8.7 Patch 1 and 8.8.x before 8.8.7 might allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a Content-Location header in an email attachment. |
| In Cleo Harmony before 5.8.0.24, VLTrader before 5.8.0.24, and LexiCom before 5.8.0.24, an unauthenticated user can import and execute arbitrary Bash or PowerShell commands on the host system by leveraging the default settings of the Autorun directory. |
| PJSIP is a free and open source multimedia communication library written in C. In versions of PJSIP prior to 2.13 the PJSIP parser, PJMEDIA RTP decoder, and PJMEDIA SDP parser are affeced by a buffer overflow vulnerability. Users connecting to untrusted clients are at risk. This issue has been patched and is available as commit c4d3498 in the master branch and will be included in releases 2.13 and later. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this issue. |
| PJSIP is a free and open source multimedia communication library written in C language implementing standard based protocols such as SIP, SDP, RTP, STUN, TURN, and ICE. In versions prior to and including 2.12.1 a stack buffer overflow vulnerability affects PJSIP users that use STUN in their applications, either by: setting a STUN server in their account/media config in PJSUA/PJSUA2 level, or directly using `pjlib-util/stun_simple` API. A patch is available in commit 450baca which should be included in the next release. There are no known workarounds for this issue. |
| PJSIP is a free and open source multimedia communication library written in C. A buffer overflow vulnerability in versions 2.12 and prior affects applications that use PJSIP DNS resolution. It doesn't affect PJSIP users who utilize an external resolver. This vulnerability is related to CVE-2023-27585. The difference is that this issue is in parsing the query record `parse_rr()`, while the issue in CVE-2023-27585 is in `parse_query()`. A patch is available in the `master` branch of the `pjsip/pjproject` GitHub repository. A workaround is to disable DNS resolution in PJSIP config (by setting `nameserver_count` to zero) or use an external resolver instead. |
| Apache httpd allows remote attackers to read secret data from process memory if the Limit directive can be set in a user's .htaccess file, or if httpd.conf has certain misconfigurations, aka Optionsbleed. This affects the Apache HTTP Server through 2.2.34 and 2.4.x through 2.4.27. The attacker sends an unauthenticated OPTIONS HTTP request when attempting to read secret data. This is a use-after-free issue and thus secret data is not always sent, and the specific data depends on many factors including configuration. Exploitation with .htaccess can be blocked with a patch to the ap_limit_section function in server/core.c. |
| Command injection vulnerability in the Edge Computing UI for the
TRO600 series radios that allows for the execution of arbitrary system commands. If exploited, an attacker with write access to the
web UI can execute commands on the device with root privileges,
far more extensive than what the write privilege intends. |
| Mitel MiCollab through 9.8 SP2 could allow an authenticated attacker with administrative privilege to conduct a local file read, due to insufficient input sanitization. A successful exploit could allow the authenticated admin attacker to access resources that are constrained to the admin access level, and the disclosure is limited to non-sensitive system information. This vulnerability does not allow file modification or privilege escalation. |
| A vulnerability in the NuPoint Unified Messaging (NPM) component of Mitel MiCollab through 9.8 SP1 FP2 (9.8.1.201) could allow an unauthenticated attacker to conduct a path traversal attack, due to insufficient input validation. A successful exploit could allow unauthorized access, enabling the attacker to view, corrupt, or delete users' data and system configurations. |
| An attacker was able to achieve code execution in the content process by exploiting a use-after-free in Animation timelines. We have had reports of this vulnerability being exploited in the wild. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 131.0.2, Firefox ESR < 128.3.1, Firefox ESR < 115.16.1, Thunderbird < 131.0.1, Thunderbird < 128.3.1, and Thunderbird < 115.16.0. |
| Insufficient default configuration in HCL Leap
allows anonymous access to directory information. |
| Insufficient sanitization policy in HCL Leap
allows client-side script injection in the deployed application through the
HTML widget. |
| There is a LOW severity vulnerability affecting CPython, specifically the
'http.cookies' standard library module.
When parsing cookies that contained backslashes for quoted characters in
the cookie value, the parser would use an algorithm with quadratic
complexity, resulting in excess CPU resources being used while parsing the
value. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
hv_sock: Initializing vsk->trans to NULL to prevent a dangling pointer
When hvs is released, there is a possibility that vsk->trans may not
be initialized to NULL, which could lead to a dangling pointer.
This issue is resolved by initializing vsk->trans to NULL. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
mm: resolve faulty mmap_region() error path behaviour
The mmap_region() function is somewhat terrifying, with spaghetti-like
control flow and numerous means by which issues can arise and incomplete
state, memory leaks and other unpleasantness can occur.
A large amount of the complexity arises from trying to handle errors late
in the process of mapping a VMA, which forms the basis of recently
observed issues with resource leaks and observable inconsistent state.
Taking advantage of previous patches in this series we move a number of
checks earlier in the code, simplifying things by moving the core of the
logic into a static internal function __mmap_region().
Doing this allows us to perform a number of checks up front before we do
any real work, and allows us to unwind the writable unmap check
unconditionally as required and to perform a CONFIG_DEBUG_VM_MAPLE_TREE
validation unconditionally also.
We move a number of things here:
1. We preallocate memory for the iterator before we call the file-backed
memory hook, allowing us to exit early and avoid having to perform
complicated and error-prone close/free logic. We carefully free
iterator state on both success and error paths.
2. The enclosing mmap_region() function handles the mapping_map_writable()
logic early. Previously the logic had the mapping_map_writable() at the
point of mapping a newly allocated file-backed VMA, and a matching
mapping_unmap_writable() on success and error paths.
We now do this unconditionally if this is a file-backed, shared writable
mapping. If a driver changes the flags to eliminate VM_MAYWRITE, however
doing so does not invalidate the seal check we just performed, and we in
any case always decrement the counter in the wrapper.
We perform a debug assert to ensure a driver does not attempt to do the
opposite.
3. We also move arch_validate_flags() up into the mmap_region()
function. This is only relevant on arm64 and sparc64, and the check is
only meaningful for SPARC with ADI enabled. We explicitly add a warning
for this arch if a driver invalidates this check, though the code ought
eventually to be fixed to eliminate the need for this.
With all of these measures in place, we no longer need to explicitly close
the VMA on error paths, as we place all checks which might fail prior to a
call to any driver mmap hook.
This eliminates an entire class of errors, makes the code easier to reason
about and more robust. |
| GNOME libsoup before 3.6.1 allows a buffer overflow in applications that perform conversion to UTF-8 in soup_header_parse_param_list_strict. There is a plausible way to reach this remotely via soup_message_headers_get_content_type (e.g., an application may want to retrieve the content type of a request or response). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amdgpu: add missing size check in amdgpu_debugfs_gprwave_read()
Avoid a possible buffer overflow if size is larger than 4K.
