CVSS v3.1 |
| REXML is an XML toolkit for Ruby. The REXML gem before 3.3.9 has a ReDoS vulnerability when it parses an XML that has many digits between &# and x...; in a hex numeric character reference (&#x...;). This does not happen with Ruby 3.2 or later. Ruby 3.1 is the only affected maintained Ruby. The REXML gem 3.3.9 or later include the patch to fix the vulnerability. |
| DOMPurify is a DOM-only, super-fast, uber-tolerant XSS sanitizer for HTML, MathML and SVG. DOMPurify was vulnerable to prototype pollution. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.4.2. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bcache: revert replacing IS_ERR_OR_NULL with IS_ERR again
Commit 028ddcac477b ("bcache: Remove unnecessary NULL point check in
node allocations") leads a NULL pointer deference in cache_set_flush().
1721 if (!IS_ERR_OR_NULL(c->root))
1722 list_add(&c->root->list, &c->btree_cache);
>From the above code in cache_set_flush(), if previous registration code
fails before allocating c->root, it is possible c->root is NULL as what
it is initialized. __bch_btree_node_alloc() never returns NULL but
c->root is possible to be NULL at above line 1721.
This patch replaces IS_ERR() by IS_ERR_OR_NULL() to fix this. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amdgpu: don't access invalid sched
Since 2320c9e6a768 ("drm/sched: memset() 'job' in drm_sched_job_init()")
accessing job->base.sched can produce unexpected results as the initialisation
of (*job)->base.sched done in amdgpu_job_alloc is overwritten by the
memset.
This commit fixes an issue when a CS would fail validation and would
be rejected after job->num_ibs is incremented. In this case,
amdgpu_ib_free(ring->adev, ...) will be called, which would crash the
machine because the ring value is bogus.
To fix this, pass a NULL pointer to amdgpu_ib_free(): we can do this
because the device is actually not used in this function.
The next commit will remove the ring argument completely.

| Squid is an open source caching proxy for the Web supporting HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and more. Due to Input Validation, Premature Release of Resource During Expected Lifetime, and Missing Release of Resource after Effective Lifetime bugs, Squid is vulnerable to Denial of Service attacks by a trusted server against all clients using the proxy. This bug is fixed in the default build configuration of Squid version 6.10. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
i3c: Use i3cdev->desc->info instead of calling i3c_device_get_info() to avoid deadlock
A deadlock may happen since the i3c_master_register() acquires
&i3cbus->lock twice. See the log below.
Use i3cdev->desc->info instead of calling i3c_device_info() to
avoid acquiring the lock twice.

| In Eclipse Mosquito, versions from 2.0.0 through 2.0.18, if a Mosquitto broker is configured to create an outgoing bridge connection, and that bridge connection has an incoming topic configured that makes use of topic remapping, then if the remote connection sends a crafted PUBLISH packet to the broker a double free will occur with a subsequent crash of the broker. |
| Stack-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in libmodbus v3.1.10 allows to overflow the buffer allocated for the Modbus response if the function tries to reply to a Modbus request with an
unexpected length. |
| In Eclipse Mosquitto, from version 1.3.2 through 2.0.18, if a malicious broker sends a crafted SUBACK packet with no reason codes, a client using libmosquitto may make out of bounds memory access when acting in its on_subscribe callback. This affects the mosquitto_sub and mosquitto_rr clients. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
IORING_OP_READ did not correctly consume the provided buffer list when
read i/o returned < 0 (except for -EAGAIN and -EIOCBQUEUED return).
This can lead to a potential use-after-free when the completion via
io_rw_done runs at separate context. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
media: aspeed: Fix memory overwrite if timing is 1600x900
When capturing 1600x900, system could crash when system memory usage is
tight.
The way to reproduce this issue:
1. Use 1600x900 to display on host
2. Mount ISO through 'Virtual media' on OpenBMC's web
3. Run script as below on host to do sha continuously
#!/bin/bash
while [ [1] ];
do
find /media -type f -printf '"%h/%f"\n' | xargs sha256sum
done
4. Open KVM on OpenBMC's web
The size of macro block captured is 8x8. Therefore, we should make sure
the height of src-buf is 8 aligned to fix this issue. |
| A null pointer dereference issue was found in Libtiff's tif_dir.c file. This issue may allow an attacker to pass a crafted TIFF image file to the tiffcp utility which triggers a runtime error that causes undefined behavior. This will result in an application crash, eventually leading to a denial of service. |
| Out-of-bounds Write in GitHub repository vim/vim prior to 8.2. |
| OpenVPN 2.1 until v2.4.12 and v2.5.6 may enable authentication bypass in external authentication plug-ins when more than one of them makes use of deferred authentication replies, which allows an external user to be granted access with only partially correct credentials. |
| A heap-based buffer overflow flaw was found in libmodbus in function modbus_reply() in src/modbus.c. |
| The th_read() function doesn’t free a variable t->th_buf.gnu_longname after allocating memory, which may cause a memory leak. |
| The th_read() function doesn’t free a variable t->th_buf.gnu_longlink after allocating memory, which may cause a memory leak. |
| An attacker who submits a crafted tar file with size in header struct being 0 may be able to trigger an calling of malloc(0) for a variable gnu_longname, causing an out-of-bounds read. |
| Mbed TLS before 3.6.4 has a PEM parsing one-byte heap-based buffer underflow, in mbedtls_pem_read_buffer and two mbedtls_pk_parse functions, via untrusted PEM input. |
| Mbed TLS before 3.6.4 has a race condition in AESNI detection if certain compiler optimizations occur. An attacker may be able to extract an AES key from a multithreaded program, or perform a GCM forgery. |
