| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amd/display: fix a Null pointer dereference vulnerability
[Why]
A null pointer dereference vulnerability exists in the AMD display driver's
(DC module) cleanup function dc_destruct().
When display control context (dc->ctx) construction fails
(due to memory allocation failure), this pointer remains NULL.
During subsequent error handling when dc_destruct() is called,
there's no NULL check before dereferencing the perf_trace member
(dc->ctx->perf_trace), causing a kernel null pointer dereference crash.
[How]
Check if dc->ctx is non-NULL before dereferencing.
(Updated commit text and removed unnecessary error message)

iommu/riscv: prevent NULL deref in iova_to_phys
The riscv_iommu_pte_fetch() function returns either NULL for
unmapped/never-mapped iova, or a valid leaf pte pointer that
requires no further validation.
riscv_iommu_iova_to_phys() failed to handle NULL returns.
Prevent null pointer dereference in
riscv_iommu_iova_to_phys(), and remove the pte validation. |

drm/xe/migrate: prevent potential UAF
If we hit the error path, the previous fence (if there is one) has
already been put() prior to this, so doing a fence_wait could lead to
UAF. Tweak the flow to do to the put() until after we do the wait.

mm/vmscan: fix hwpoisoned large folio handling in shrink_folio_list
In shrink_folio_list(), the hwpoisoned folio may be large folio, which
can't be handled by unmap_poisoned_folio(). For THP, try_to_unmap_one()
must be passed with TTU_SPLIT_HUGE_PMD to split huge PMD first and then
retry. Without TTU_SPLIT_HUGE_PMD, we will trigger null-ptr deref of
pvmw.pte. Even we passed TTU_SPLIT_HUGE_PMD, we will trigger a
WARN_ON_ONCE due to the page isn't in swapcache.
Since UCE is rare in real world, and race with reclaimation is more rare,
just skipping the hwpoisoned large folio is enough. memory_failure() will
handle it if the UCE is triggered again.
This happens when memory reclaim for large folio races with
memory_failure(), and will lead to kernel panic. The race is as
follows:
cpu0 cpu1
shrink_folio_list memory_failure
TestSetPageHWPoison
unmap_poisoned_folio
--> trigger BUG_ON due to
unmap_poisoned_folio couldn't
handle large folio

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
media: mt9m114: Fix deadlock in get_frame_interval/set_frame_interval
Getting / Setting the frame interval using the V4L2 subdev pad ops
get_frame_interval/set_frame_interval causes a deadlock, as the
subdev state is locked in the [1] but also in the driver itself.
In [2] it's described that the caller is responsible to acquire and
release the lock in this case. Therefore, acquiring the lock in the
driver is wrong.
Remove the lock acquisitions/releases from mt9m114_ifp_get_frame_interval()
and mt9m114_ifp_set_frame_interval().

mm: swap: fix potential buffer overflow in setup_clusters()
In setup_swap_map(), we only ensure badpages are in range (0, last_page].
As maxpages might be < last_page, setup_clusters() will encounter a buffer
overflow when a badpage is >= maxpages.
Only call inc_cluster_info_page() for badpage which is < maxpages to fix
the issue. |
| axios is a promise based HTTP client for the browser and node.js. The issue occurs when passing absolute URLs rather than protocol-relative URLs to axios. Even if baseURL is set, axios sends the request to the specified absolute URL, potentially causing SSRF and credential leakage. This issue impacts both server-side and client-side usage of axios. This issue is fixed in 1.8.2. |

similar to bonding. Based on the patch by Tetsuo Handa. |
| DuckDB is a SQL database management system. DuckDB implemented block-based encryption of DB on the filesystem starting with DuckDB 1.4.0. There are a few issues related to this implementation. The DuckDB can fall back to an insecure random number generator (pcg32) to generate cryptographic keys or IVs. When clearing keys from memory, the compiler may remove the memset() and leave sensitive data on the heap. By modifying the database header, an attacker could downgrade the encryption mode from GCM to CTR to bypass integrity checks. There may be a failure to check return value on call to OpenSSL `rand_bytes()`. An attacker could use public IVs to compromise the internal state of RNG and determine the randomly generated key used to encrypt temporary files, get access to cryptographic keys if they have access to process memory (e.g. through memory leak),circumvent GCM integrity checks, and/or influence the OpenSSL random number generator and DuckDB would not be able to detect a failure of the generator. Version 1.4.2 has disabled the insecure random number generator by no longer using the fallback to write to or create databases. Instead, DuckDB will now attempt to install and load the OpenSSL implementation in the `httpfs` extension. DuckDB now uses secure MbedTLS primitive to clear memory as recommended and requires explicit specification of ciphers without integrity checks like CTR on `ATTACH`. Additionally, DuckDB now checks the return code. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
open_tree_attr: do not allow id-mapping changes without OPEN_TREE_CLONE
As described in commit 7a54947e727b ('Merge patch series "fs: allow
changing idmappings"'), open_tree_attr(2) was necessary in order to
allow for a detached mount to be created and have its idmappings changed
without the risk of any racing threads operating on it. For this reason,
mount_setattr(2) still does not allow for id-mappings to be changed.
However, there was a bug in commit 2462651ffa76 ("fs: allow changing
idmappings") which allowed users to bypass this restriction by calling
open_tree_attr(2) *without* OPEN_TREE_CLONE.
can_idmap_mount() prevented this bug from allowing an attached
mountpoint's id-mapping from being modified (thanks to an is_anon_ns()
check), but this still allows for detached (but visible) mounts to have
their be id-mapping changed. This risks the same UAF and locking issues
as described in the merge commit, and was likely unintentional. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
crypto: caam - Prevent crash on suspend with iMX8QM / iMX8ULP
Since the CAAM on these SoCs is managed by another ARM core, called the
SECO (Security Controller) on iMX8QM and Secure Enclave on iMX8ULP, which
also reserves access to register page 0 suspend operations cannot touch
this page.
This is similar to when running OPTEE, where OPTEE will reserve page 0.
Track this situation using a new state variable no_page0, reflecting if
page 0 is reserved elsewhere, either by other management cores in SoC or
by OPTEE.
Replace the optee_en check in suspend/resume with the new check.
optee_en cannot go away as it's needed elsewhere to gate OPTEE specific
situations.
Fixes the following splat at suspend:

| SuiteCRM is an open-source, enterprise-ready Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software application. In versions 8.6.0 through 8.9.0, there is an authenticated, blind (time-based) SQL-injection inside the appMetadata-operation of the GraphQL-API. This allows extraction of arbitrary data from the database, and does not require administrative access. This issue is fixed in version 8.9.1. |
| SuiteCRM is an open-source, enterprise-ready Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software application. Versions 8.9.0 and below contain a time-based blind SQL Injection vulnerability. This vulnerability allows an authenticated attacker to infer data from the database by measuring response times, potentially leading to the extraction of sensitive information. It is possible for an attacker to enumerate database, table, and column names, extract sensitive data, or escalate privileges. This is fixed in version 8.9.1. |
| SuiteCRM is an open-source, enterprise-ready Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software application. Versions 7.14.7 and below allow unauthenticated reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS). Successful exploitation could lead to full account takeover, for example by altering the login form to send credentials to an attacker-controlled server. As a reflected XSS issue, exploitation requires the victim to open a crafted malicious link, which can be delivered via phishing, social media, or other communication channels. This issue is fixed in version 7.14.8. |
| SuiteCRM is an open-source, enterprise-ready Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software application. Versions 7.14.7 and prior, 8.0.0-beta.1 through 8.9.0 allow a low-privileged user with a restrictive role to view and create work items through the Resource Calendar and project screens, even when the related modules (Projects, Project Tasks, Tasks, Leads, Accounts, Meetings, Calls) are explicitly set to Disabled/None in Role Management. This indicates inconsistent ACL/RBAC enforcement across modules and views, resulting in unauthorized data exposure and modification. This issue is fixed in versions 7.14.8 and 8.9.1. |
| SuiteCRM is an open-source, enterprise-ready Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software application. Versions 7.14.7 and prior, 8.0.0-beta.1 through 8.9.0 contain a privilege escalation vulnerability where user sessions are not invalidated upon account deactivation. An inactive user with an active session can continue to access the application and, critically, can self-reactivate their account. This undermines administrative controls and allows unauthorized persistence. This issue is fixed in versions 7.14.8 and 8.9.1. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amd/display: fix incorrect mpc_combine array size
[why]
MAX_SURFACES is per stream, while MAX_PLANES is per asic. The
mpc_combine is an array that records all the planes per asic. Therefore
MAX_PLANES should be used as the array size. Using MAX_SURFACES causes
array overflow when there are more than 3 planes.
[how]
Use the MAX_PLANES for the mpc_combine array size. |
| SuiteCRM is an open-source, enterprise-ready Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software application. In versions 7.14.7 and below and 8.0.0-beta.1 through 8.9.0 8.0.0-beta.1, an attacker can craft a malicious call_id that alters the logic of the SQL query or injects arbitrary SQL. An attack can lead to unauthorized data access and data ex-filtration, complete database compromise, and other various issues. This issue is fixed in versions 7.14.8 and 8.9.1. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/sched: act_mirred: don't override retval if we already lost the skb
If we're redirecting the skb, and haven't called tcf_mirred_forward(),
yet, we need to tell the core to drop the skb by setting the retcode
to SHOT. If we have called tcf_mirred_forward(), however, the skb
is out of our hands and returning SHOT will lead to UaF.
Move the retval override to the error path which actually need it. |
