| A Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability in the GlobalProtect feature of Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS software enables an unauthenticated attacker to render the service unavailable by sending a large number of specially crafted packets over a period of time. This issue affects both the GlobalProtect portal and the GlobalProtect gateway.
This issue does not apply to Cloud NGFWs or Prisma Access software. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
be2net: Fix buffer overflow in be_get_module_eeprom
be_cmd_read_port_transceiver_data assumes that it is given a buffer that
is at least PAGE_DATA_LEN long, or twice that if the module supports SFF
8472. However, this is not always the case.
Fix this by passing the desired offset and length to
be_cmd_read_port_transceiver_data so that we only copy the bytes once. |

| JRuby-OpenSSL is an add-on gem for JRuby that emulates the Ruby OpenSSL native library. Starting in JRuby-OpenSSL version 0.12.1 and prior to version 0.15.4 (corresponding to JRuby versions starting in 9.3.4.0 prior to 9.4.12.1 and 10.0.0.0 prior to 10.0.0.1), when verifying SSL certificates, JRuby-OpenSSL does not verify that the hostname presented in the certificate matches the one the user tries to connect to. This means a man-in-the-middle could just present any valid cert for a completely different domain they own, and JRuby would accept the cert. Anybody using JRuby to make requests of external APIs, or scraping the web, that depends on https to connect securely. JRuby-OpenSSL version 0.15.4 contains a fix for the issue. This fix is included in JRuby versions 10.0.0.1 and 9.4.12.1. |
| An issue was discovered in zenml-io/zenml versions up to and including 0.55.4. Due to improper authentication mechanisms, an attacker with access to an active user session can change the account password without needing to know the current password. This vulnerability allows for unauthorized account takeover by bypassing the standard password change verification process. The issue was fixed in version 0.56.3. |
