| The Signed Video Framework contained a buffer overflow issue
which could lead the application using this framework to crash. The issue exclusively affects the tools used for the validation of signed content. The AXIS OS device's signed video functionality remains unaffected. |
| An Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences in HTTP Headers ('HTTP Response Splitting') vulnerability [CWE-113] vulnerability in Fortinet FortiOS 7.6.0 through 7.6.4, FortiOS 7.4 all versions, FortiOS 7.2 all versions, FortiProxy 7.6.0 through 7.6.4, FortiProxy 7.4 all versions, FortiProxy 7.2 all versions may allow an attacker able to intercept and modify a user's captive portal authentication request to inject arbitrary headers via crafted HTTP requests. |
| An Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences in HTTP Headers ('HTTP Response Splitting') vulnerability [CWE-113] vulnerability in Fortinet FortiOS 7.6.0 through 7.6.4, FortiOS 7.4 all versions, FortiOS 7.2 all versions, FortiProxy 7.6.0 through 7.6.4, FortiProxy 7.4 all versions, FortiProxy 7.2 all versions may allow an attacker in possession of a valid web filter override token to inject arbitrary headers via tricking a user into clicking on a crafted link. |
| An issue was discovered in NvmExpressDxe in the kernel 5.0 through 5.5 in Insyde InsydeH2O. Because of an Untrusted Pointer Dereference that causes SMM memory corruption, an attacker may be able to write fixed or predictable data to SMRAM. Exploiting this issue could lead to escalating privileges to SMM. |
| An issue was discovered in SdHostDriver in the kernel 5.0 through 5.5 in Insyde InsydeH2O. There is an SMM callout that allows an attacker to access the System Management Mode and execute arbitrary code. This occurs because of a Numeric Range Comparison Without a Minimum Check. |
| An issue was discovered in AhciBusDxe in the kernel 5.0 through 5.5 in Insyde InsydeH2O. Because of an Untrusted Pointer Dereference that causes SMM memory corruption, an attacker may be able to write fixed or predictable data to SMRAM. Exploiting this issue could lead to escalating privileges to SMM. |
| An issue was discovered in Insyde InsydeH2O Kernel 5.0 before 05.09.11, 5.1 before 05.17.11, 5.2 before 05.27.11, 5.3 before 05.36.11, 5.4 before 05.44.11, and 5.5 before 05.52.11 affecting FwBlockServiceSmm. Software SMI services that use the Communicate() function of the EFI_SMM_COMMUNICATION_PROTOCOL do not check whether the address of the buffer is valid, which allows use of SMRAM, MMIO, or OS kernel addresses. |
| An issue was discovered in Kernel 5.x in Insyde InsydeH2O, affecting HddPassword. Software SMI services that use the Communicate() function of the EFI_SMM_COMMUNICATION_PROTOCOL do not check whether the address of the buffer is valid, which allows use of SMRAM, MMIO, or OS kernel addresses. |
| Affected versions of cti-transmute render data obtained from a remote MISP instance into the event-browser interface using HTML interpolation. Because fields such as event IDs, event information, organization names, tags, tag colors, TLP labels, distribution labels, and error/flash text may be controlled by the remote MISP server, a malicious or compromised remote instance could return crafted values that inject HTML or script-capable content into the cti-transmute interface.
The patch explicitly notes that remote-derived values must not reach innerHTML, and replaces string-built rows and badges with DOM nodes populated through textContent. It also restricts remote-controlled tag colors to six-digit hexadecimal values, preventing malicious CSS values such as url(...). |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in UTT HiPER 1200GW up to 2.5.3-170306. This impacts the function strcpy of the file /goform/pptpSrvGlobalConfig. Such manipulation of the argument EncryptionMode leads to stack-based buffer overflow. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| Windows Kernel Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability |
| A vulnerability has been found in MZ Automation libiec61850 up to 1.6.1. The affected element is the function MmsMapping_varAccessSpecToObjectReference of the file src/iec61850/common/iec61850_common.c of the component MMS Protocol Workflow. Such manipulation of the argument GetNamedVariableListAttributesResponse.itemId leads to heap-based buffer overflow. The attack must be carried out locally. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| GNU cpio is vulnerable to improper encoding or escaping of output in its archive member listing functionality. When listing archive members via cpio -it, member names are printed directly to output without quoting or escaping. An attacker can craft a cpio archive containing member names with embedded newline characters or ANSI escape sequences, causing forged listing entries or terminal control sequence injection when the listing is displayed.
This issue has been fixed in commit 2ff9600c9ef32e88759843cdbde74c8db5ae9b30 |
| OpenReception's appointment booking software provides an end-to-end encrypted appointment booking platform. Prior to version 1.0.2, the `/api/log` endpoint accepts unauthenticated POST requests, applies no schema validation to the message body, writes attacker-controlled content directly into the application's stdout log, interprets newline characters as real line breaks, and enforces no size or rate limits. Three independent abuse modes follow: log injection (forge log lines that look like legitimate system events), log volume DoS (saturate the logging pipeline at sustained 100+ requests per second of small messages), and oversized-payload submission (100 KB payloads accepted; larger sizes not tested). The most operationally damaging mode is log injection. An attacker can inject lines that an operator scanning logs would mistake for real system errors, mask their own activity behind fake noise, or pollute SIEM alerting rules with crafted false positives. A line such as `[error]: injected admin error` injected from an unauthenticated source is indistinguishable from the application's own error output once written to disk. Version 1.0.2 fixes the issue. |
| A vulnerability was found in MZ Automation libiec61850 up to 1.6.1. The affected element is the function deleteDataSetValuesShadowBuffer of the file src/iec61850/server/mms_mapping/reporting.c of the component URCB Revalidation. The manipulation results in use after free. The attack needs to be approached locally. The exploit has been made public and could be used. Upgrading to version 1.6.2 is sufficient to fix this issue. The patch is identified as 486fd57f3aed65bb9d636ff00f9ddce2e450b168. Upgrading the affected component is advised. |
| A regression exists in the Linux Kernel within KVM: nVMX that allowed for speculative execution attacks. L2 can carry out Spectre v2 attacks on L1 due to L1 thinking it doesn't need retpolines or IBPB after running L2 due to KVM (L0) advertising eIBRS support to L1. An attacker at L2 with code execution can execute code on an indirect branch on the host machine. We recommend upgrading to Kernel 6.2 or applying the relevant stable backports (v5.4.233, v5.10.170, v5.15.96, v6.1.14). |
| A security flaw has been discovered in MZ Automation libiec61850 up to 1.6.1. This affects the function SVReceiver_stopThreadless of the file src/sampled_values/sv_subscriber.c of the component ASDU Element Handler. Performing a manipulation results in heap-based buffer overflow. The attack must be initiated from a local position. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. Upgrading to version 1.6.2 is able to mitigate this issue. The patch is named a96bd674e0238276dd1387d31d52e55229d0771e. The affected component should be upgraded. |
| A CRLF injection vulnerability exists in the OAuth2 AuthorizationUtils class. When constructing the WWW-Authenticate response header, the 'realm' parameter is concatenated without sanitizing Carriage Return (CR) and Line Feed (LF) characters. If an attacker can control the realm value, they can inject arbitrary HTTP headers or split the HTTP response entirely. Users are recommended to upgrade to versions 4.2.2 or 4.1.7 or 3.6.12, which fixes this issue. |
| A flaw was found in the libXfont2 font-server client. A remote attacker, by operating a malicious font server, could exploit an out-of-bounds read/write vulnerability. This occurs because the client incorrectly handles font data, leading to an out-of-bounds memory access. This can lead to privilege escalation if the X server runs with root privileges, or a denial of service (crash) if it runs as an unprivileged user. |
| Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 39.8.7, 40.9.0, 41.2.0, and 42.0.0-beta.1, the mode option of webContents.openDevTools() was not sanitized before use by the DevTools frontend. If an attacker can influence this value, script under their control may run in the DevTools context, which in unsandboxed configurations has access to Node.js, including when untrusted input reaches the mode argument of openDevTools() or untrusted content calls openDevTools() on a webview it embeds. This issue is fixed in 39.8.7, 40.9.0, 41.2.0, and 42.0.0-beta.1. |
