The xfrm_replay_verify_len function in net/xfrm/xfrm_user.c in the Linux kernel through 4.10.6 does not validate certain size data after an XFRM_MSG_NEWAE update, which allows local users to obtain root privileges or cause a denial of service (heap-based out-of-bounds access) by leveraging the CAP_NET_ADMIN capability, as demonstrated during a Pwn2Own competition at CanSecWest 2017 for the Ubuntu 16.10 linux-image-* package 4.8.0.41.52.
CVE-2017-5591 3 Poezio, Sleekxmpp Project, Slixmpp Project 3 Poezio, Sleekxmpp, Slixmpp 2025-04-20 5.9 Medium
An incorrect implementation of "XEP-0280: Message Carbons" in multiple XMPP clients allows a remote attacker to impersonate any user, including contacts, in the vulnerable application's display. This allows for various kinds of social engineering attacks. This CVE is for SleekXMPP up to 1.3.1 and Slixmpp all versions up to 1.2.3, as bundled in poezio (0.8 - 0.10) and other products.
CVE-2016-10211 1 Virustotal 1 Yara 2025-04-20 N/A

CVE-2016-10075 1 Tqdm Project 1 Tqdm 2025-04-20 N/A
The tqdm._version module in tqdm versions 4.4.1 and 4.10 allows local users to execute arbitrary code via a crafted repo with a malicious git log in the current working directory.
CVE-2017-5924 1 Virustotal 1 Yara 2025-04-20 N/A
libyara/grammar.y in YARA 3.5.0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (use-after-free and application crash) via a crafted rule that is mishandled in the yr_compiler_destroy function.
CVE-2015-3171 1 Sos Project 1 Sos 2025-04-20 5.5 Medium
sosreport 3.2 uses weak permissions for generated sosreport archives, which allows local users with access to /var/tmp/ to obtain sensitive information by reading the contents of the archive.
CVE-2015-3220 1 Tlslite Project 1 Tlslite 2025-04-20 N/A
The tlslite library before 0.4.9 for Python allows remote attackers to trigger a denial of service (runtime exception and process crash).
CVE-2017-8929 1 Virustotal 1 Yara 2025-04-20 N/A
The sized_string_cmp function in libyara/sizedstr.c in YARA 3.5.0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (use-after-free and application crash) via a crafted rule.
CVE-2017-5643 2 Apache, Redhat 3 Camel, Jboss Amq, Jboss Fuse 2025-04-20 N/A
Apache Camel's Validation Component is vulnerable against SSRF via remote DTDs and XXE.
CVE-2017-17554 1 Aubio 1 Aubio 2025-04-20 N/A
A NULL pointer dereference (DoS) Vulnerability was found in the function aubio_source_avcodec_readframe in io/source_avcodec.c of aubio 0.4.6, which may lead to DoS when playing a crafted audio file.
CVE-2017-17054 1 Aubio 1 Aubio 2025-04-20 N/A
In aubio 0.4.6, a divide-by-zero error exists in the function new_aubio_source_wavread() in source_wavread.c, which may lead to DoS when playing a crafted audio file.
CVE-2017-16516 2 Debian, Yajl-ruby Project 2 Debian Linux, Yajl-ruby 2025-04-20 7.5 High
In the yajl-ruby gem 1.3.0 for Ruby, when a crafted JSON file is supplied to Yajl::Parser.new.parse, the whole ruby process crashes with a SIGABRT in the yajl_string_decode function in yajl_encode.c. This results in the whole ruby process terminating and potentially a denial of service.
CVE-2017-16228 1 Dulwich Project 1 Dulwich 2025-04-20 N/A
Dulwich before 0.18.5, when an SSH subprocess is used, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via an ssh URL with an initial dash character in the hostname, a related issue to CVE-2017-9800, CVE-2017-12836, CVE-2017-12976, CVE-2017-1000116, and CVE-2017-1000117.
CVE-2017-14176 2 Canonical, Debian 3 Bazaar, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux 2025-04-20 N/A
Bazaar through 2.7.0, when Subprocess SSH is used, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via a bzr+ssh URL with an initial dash character in the hostname, a related issue to CVE-2017-9800, CVE-2017-12836, CVE-2017-12976, CVE-2017-16228, CVE-2017-1000116, and CVE-2017-1000117.
CVE-2015-4082 1 Attic Project 1 Attic 2025-04-20 N/A
attic before 0.15 does not confirm unencrypted backups with the user, which allows remote attackers with read and write privileges for the encrypted repository to obtain potentially sensitive information by changing the manifest type byte of the repository to "unencrypted / without key file".

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on vulnerable installations of Foxit Reader 8.3.0.14878. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within app.launchURL method. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied string before using it to execute a system call. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code under the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-4724.
CVE-2017-1000099 1 Haxx 1 Libcurl 2025-04-20 N/A
When asking to get a file from a file:// URL, libcurl provides a feature that outputs meta-data about the file using HTTP-like headers. The code doing this would send the wrong buffer to the user (stdout or the application's provide callback), which could lead to other private data from the heap to get inadvertently displayed. The wrong buffer was an uninitialized memory area allocated on the heap and if it turned out to not contain any zero byte, it would continue and display the data following that buffer in memory.
