| CVE-2026-80717 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-28 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sctp: validate Adaptation Indication parameter length The Adaptation Layer Indication parameter contains a fixed 32-bit Adaptation Code Point after its parameter header. However, sctp_verify_param() accepts a header-only parameter because the generic parameter walker only requires the header to be present. sctp_process_param() then reads adaptation_ind beyond the declared parameter. When the malformed parameter is last in an INIT, the read starts at the receive skb tail, and the value is copied into the state cookie returned in the INIT ACK. This may disclose four receive-buffer tail bytes. Require the declared parameter length to match the fixed structure size and abort the association through the existing invalid parameter length path otherwise. | ||||
| CVE-2026-80719 | 1 Linux | 2 Kernel, Linux Kernel | 2026-08-28 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm: mglru: fix stale batch updates after memcg reparenting The mglru page table walker batches per-generation size deltas in walk->nr_pages while walking page tables without holding the lruvec lock. The reset_batch_size() later folds those deltas into walk->lruvec under the lruvec lock. The page table walker can run concurrently with the memcg reparenting path as follows: CPU0 CPU1 ==== ==== walk_mm --> walk_page_range --> update_batch_size --> walk->nr_pages += delta mem_cgroup_css_offline --> memcg_reparent_objcgs --> lock lruvec lru_gen_reparent_memcg --> reparent child folios to parent unlock lruvec lock lruvec reset_batch_size --> child lrugen->nr_pages += delta This will trigger the following warning in lru_gen_exit_memcg(): VM_WARN_ON_ONCE(memchr_inv(lruvec->lrugen.nr_pages, 0, sizeof(lruvec->lrugen.nr_pages))); And the user-visible impact of underestimated nr_pages in MGLRU was premature OOMs because MGLRU does not try to reclaim memory when nr_pages reaches zero, but there are still more pages. To fix it, make reset_batch_size() check CSS_DYING under RCU before flushing the pending batch. A non-dying memcg keeps the original lruvec stable against RCU-delayed offlining; a dying memcg redirects the deltas to the first non-dying ancestor. | ||||

| CVE-2026-55068 | 2026-08-28 | N/A | ||
| free5GC is an open-source implementation of the 5G core network. In 4.2.2 and earlier, the NRF RegisterNFInstance handler at PUT /nnrf-nfm/v1/nf-instances/{nfInstanceID} accepts NF Profiles without enforcing UUID format, nfStatus enum values, heartBeatTimer ranges, mandatory profile fields, or nfServices.ipEndPoints address constraints. The invalid profiles are persisted in the MongoDB NfProfile collection and returned by NFDiscover, allowing an attacker with SBI access to advertise attacker-controlled network-function endpoints and redirect control-plane signaling. This can expose credentials and signaling, alter service discovery integrity, and deny service across network functions that trust the NRF. This issue is fixed in version 4.2.3. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73902 | 1 Oracle | 1 Helidon | 2026-08-28 | 7.5 High |

Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Helidon. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash (complete DOS) of Helidon. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.5 (Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H). | ||||
| CVE-2026-55067 | 2026-08-28 | 5 Medium | ||
| Vikunja is an open-source self-hosted task management platform. Prior to 2.4.0, POST /api/v1/projects/{project}/views/{view}/buckets/{bucket} allows the request body project_view_id value to be mass assigned by Bucket.Update in pkg/models/kanban.go. The permission check validates that the bucket currently belongs to the URL project and view but does not validate the body selected destination view, allowing any authenticated user to relocate an attacker-owned bucket into another tenant’s Kanban view. The injected bucket retains attacker-controlled content and ownership, enabling cross-tenant defacement. This issue is fixed in version 2.4.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-55066 | 2026-08-28 | 7.1 High | ||
| Vikunja is an open-source self-hosted task management platform. Prior to 2.4.0, POST /api/v1/projects/{project}/views/{view}/buckets/{bucket}/tasks accepts a body supplied task_id but TaskBucket.CanUpdate in pkg/models/kanban_task_bucket.go authorizes only the project, view, and bucket from the URL. updateTaskBucket then calls Task.ReadOne without a separate task permission check, returns the victim task contents, and can update the task done state when the attacker chooses a done bucket. Because task identifiers are global sequential values, an authenticated user can enumerate cross-tenant tasks and modify their completion metadata through both the v1 and v2 routes that share this model. This issue is fixed in version 2.4.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-74887 | 1 Jahlives | 1 Openssl Encrypt | 2026-08-28 | 3.7 Low |
| openssl_encrypt before 1.4.0 imports Python's non-cryptographic 'random' module (Mersenne Twister PRNG) at line 15 of openssl_encrypt/modules/pqc.py. No direct calls to random.* were present in the code, so no cryptographic operation is currently affected; however, the import creates a hazard that future code could inadvertently use random.randint() instead of a cryptographically secure alternative (secrets/os.urandom), producing predictable values since the Mersenne Twister state can be recovered from approximately 624 outputs. Fixed by removing the import in 1.4.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73884 | 1 Oracle | 1 Helidon | 2026-08-28 | 7.5 High |

| CVE-2026-75340 | 2026-08-28 | 9.1 Critical | ||
| The device metadata import interface /device/instance/{productId}/property-metadata/import of jetlinks community 2.11 is vulnerable to Server-side request forgery (SSRF). | ||||
| CVE-2026-74740 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-08-28 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: act_api: fix TOCTOU NULL deref on a->goto_chain tcf_action_exec() handles TC_ACT_GOTO_CHAIN by first checking rcu_access_pointer(a->goto_chain) and then calling tcf_action_goto_chain_exec(), which does a second, independent rcu_dereference_bh(a->goto_chain) read and immediately dereferences chain->filter_chain. A concurrent tcf_action_set_ctrlact() (e.g. the gact replace path) can clear a->goto_chain between the two reads, so the second read returns NULL and tcf_action_goto_chain_exec() dereferences NULL. Fix the race by doing a single rcu_dereference_bh() read of a->goto_chain in tcf_action_exec(), checking it once for NULL, and passing the resulting chain pointer into tcf_action_goto_chain_exec(). This turns the split check/use into a single check/use on one value. | ||||

| CVE-2026-56854 | 2026-08-28 | N/A | ||
| The source-address critical option in the Permissions returned by an authentication callback was only enforced for the PublicKeyCallback and VerifiedPublicKeyCallback paths, extending the fix for CVE-2026-46595. Permissions returned by the PasswordCallback, KeyboardInteractiveCallback, NoClientAuthCallback, and GSSAPIWithMICConfig.AllowLogin callbacks were not validated against the client's remote address, so a source-address restriction set by those callbacks was silently ignored. The check is now applied to the Permissions returned by any authentication callback. | ||||
| CVE-2026-58106 | 1 Ericsson | 1 Codechecker | 2026-08-28 | N/A |
| CVE-2025-40843 https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-5xf2-f6ch-6p8r was fixed by replacing unchecked strcpy() with a bounded safe_strcpy() helper. At ldlogger-tool-gcc.c:129 the destination passed to that helper is fullPath + 2, but the size passed down is the full PATH_MAX. safe_strcpy() is strncpy(), which NUL-pads the destination out to the whole n, so this site writes 4096 bytes into the 4094 that remain — a 2-byte stack overflow on every invocation, independent of the input path's length. This issue affects CodeChecker: through 6.28.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-58107 | 1 Ericsson | 1 Codechecker | 2026-08-28 | N/A |
| CodeChecker's massStoreRun processing path performs one-shot decompression of attacker-controlled, Base64-encoded zlib data without enforcing a maximum decompressed size. An authenticated user with permission to store analysis runs can submit a highly compressed payload that expands to a significantly larger byte sequence. Because the entire decompressed output is materialized in memory before being written to a temporary file, a sufficiently large payload may exhaust process or host memory and consume substantial disk space, resulting in denial of service. | ||||
