| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
vt: prevent kernel-infoleak in con_font_get()
font.data may not initialize all memory spaces depending on the implementation
of vc->vc_sw->con_font_get. This may cause info-leak, so to prevent this, it
is safest to modify it to initialize the allocated memory space to 0, and it
generally does not affect the overall performance of the system. |
| The use of `module.constructor.createRequire()` can bypass the policy mechanism and require modules outside of the policy.json definition for a given module.
This vulnerability affects all users using the experimental policy mechanism in all active release lines: 16.x, 18.x, and, 20.x.
Please note that at the time this CVE was issued, the policy is an experimental feature of Node.js. |
| A vulnerability has been discovered in Node.js version 20, specifically within the experimental permission model. This flaw relates to improper handling of Buffers in file system APIs causing a traversal path to bypass when verifying file permissions.

| A malicious crafted dwf or .pct file when consumed through DesignReview.exe application could lead to memory corruption vulnerability by read access violation. This vulnerability in conjunction with other vulnerabilities could lead to code execution in the context of the current process. |
| The AdminPad WordPress plugin before 2.2 does not have CSRF check when updating admin's note, allowing attackers to make a logged in admin update their notes via a CSRF attack |
| LibTIFF 4.4.0 has an out-of-bounds read in writeSingleSection in tools/tiffcrop.c:7345, allowing attackers to cause a denial-of-service via a crafted tiff file. For users that compile libtiff from sources, the fix is available with commit e8131125. |
| LibTIFF 4.4.0 has an out-of-bounds write in extractContigSamplesShifted24bits in tools/tiffcrop.c:3604, allowing attackers to cause a denial-of-service via a crafted tiff file. For users that compile libtiff from sources, the fix is available with commit cfbb883b. |
| LibTIFF 4.4.0 has an out-of-bounds write in _TIFFmemcpy in libtiff/tif_unix.c:346 when called from extractImageSection, tools/tiffcrop.c:6826, allowing attackers to cause a denial-of-service via a crafted tiff file.
