CVSS v3.1 |
| Unknown vulnerability in the TCP/IP stack for Sun Solaris 8 and 9 allows local users to cause a denial of service (system panic) via unknown vectors. |
| Unspecified vulnerability in in.named in Solaris 9 allows attackers to cause a denial of service via unknown manipulations that cause in.named to "make unnecessary queries." |
| The permissions for the /dev/audio device on Solaris 2.2 and earlier, and SunOS 4.1.x, allow any local user to read from the device, which could be used by an attacker to monitor conversations happening near a machine that has a microphone. |
| The SSH protocols 1 and 2 (aka SSH-2) as implemented in OpenSSH and other packages have various weaknesses which can allow a remote attacker to obtain the following information via sniffing: (1) password lengths or ranges of lengths, which simplifies brute force password guessing, (2) whether RSA or DSA authentication is being used, (3) the number of authorized_keys in RSA authentication, or (4) the lengths of shell commands. |
| Multiple ethernet Network Interface Card (NIC) device drivers do not pad frames with null bytes, which allows remote attackers to obtain information from previous packets or kernel memory by using malformed packets, as demonstrated by Etherleak. |
| systemd, a system and service manager, (as PID 1) hits an assert and freezes execution when an unprivileged IPC API call is made with spurious data. On version v249 and older the effect is not an assert, but stack overwriting, with the attacker controlled content. From version v250 and newer this is not possible as the safety check causes an assert instead. This IPC call was added in v239, so versions older than that are not affected. Versions 260-rc1, 259.2, 258.5, and 257.11 contain patches. No known workarounds are available. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
libceph: reset sparse-read state in osd_fault()
When a fault occurs, the connection is abandoned, reestablished, and any
pending operations are retried. The OSD client tracks the progress of a
sparse-read reply using a separate state machine, largely independent of
the messenger's state.
If a connection is lost mid-payload or the sparse-read state machine
returns an error, the sparse-read state is not reset. The OSD client
will then interpret the beginning of a new reply as the continuation of
the old one. If this makes the sparse-read machinery enter a failure
state, it may never recover, producing loops like:
libceph: [0] got 0 extents
libceph: data len 142248331 != extent len 0
libceph: osd0 (1)...:6801 socket error on read
libceph: data len 142248331 != extent len 0
libceph: osd0 (1)...:6801 socket error on read
Therefore, reset the sparse-read state in osd_fault(), ensuring retries
start from a clean state. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: nf_conncount: update last_gc only when GC has been performed
Currently last_gc is being updated everytime a new connection is
tracked, that means that it is updated even if a GC wasn't performed.
With a sufficiently high packet rate, it is possible to always bypass
the GC, causing the list to grow infinitely.
Update the last_gc value only when a GC has been actually performed. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: wwan: t7xx: fix potential skb->frags overflow in RX path
When receiving data in the DPMAIF RX path,
the t7xx_dpmaif_set_frag_to_skb() function adds
page fragments to an skb without checking if the number of
fragments has exceeded MAX_SKB_FRAGS. This could lead to a buffer overflow
in skb_shinfo(skb)->frags[] array, corrupting adjacent memory and
potentially causing kernel crashes or other undefined behavior.
This issue was identified through static code analysis by comparing with a
similar vulnerability fixed in the mt76 driver commit b102f0c522cf ("mt76:
fix array overflow on receiving too many fragments for a packet").
The vulnerability could be triggered if the modem firmware sends packets
with excessive fragments. While under normal protocol conditions (MTU 3080
bytes, BAT buffer 3584 bytes),
a single packet should not require additional
fragments, the kernel should not blindly trust firmware behavior.
Malicious, buggy, or compromised firmware could potentially craft packets
with more fragments than the kernel expects.
Fix this by adding a bounds check before calling skb_add_rx_frag() to
ensure nr_frags does not exceed MAX_SKB_FRAGS.
The check must be performed before unmapping to avoid a page leak
and double DMA unmap during device teardown. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
dpaa2-switch: add bounds check for if_id in IRQ handler
The IRQ handler extracts if_id from the upper 16 bits of the hardware
status register and uses it to index into ethsw->ports[] without
validation. Since if_id can be any 16-bit value (0-65535) but the ports
array is only allocated with sw_attr.num_ifs elements, this can lead to
an out-of-bounds read potentially.
Add a bounds check before accessing the array, consistent with the
existing validation in dpaa2_switch_rx(). |
| Rack::Session is a session management implementation for Rack. From 2.0.0 to before 2.1.2, Rack::Session::Cookie incorrectly handles decryption failures when configured with secrets:. If cookie decryption fails, the implementation falls back to a default decoder instead of rejecting the cookie. This allows an unauthenticated attacker to supply a crafted session cookie that is accepted as valid session data without knowledge of any configured secret. Because this mechanism is used to load session state, an attacker can manipulate session contents and potentially gain unauthorized access. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.1.2. |
| Improper handling of missing special element in .NET allows an unauthorized attacker to perform spoofing over a network. |
| Heap buffer overflow in libvpx. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 147.0.4, Firefox ESR 140.7.1, Firefox ESR 115.32.1, Thunderbird 140.7.2, and Thunderbird 147.0.2. |
| dynaconf is a configuration management tool for Python. Prior to version 3.2.13, Dynaconf is vulnerable to Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI) due to unsafe template evaluation in the @Jinja resolver. When the jinja2 package is installed, Dynaconf evaluates template expressions embedded in configuration values without a sandboxed environment. This issue has been patched in version 3.2.13. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: mac80211: ocb: skip rx_no_sta when interface is not joined
ieee80211_ocb_rx_no_sta() assumes a valid channel context, which is only
present after JOIN_OCB.
RX may run before JOIN_OCB is executed, in which case the OCB interface
is not operational. Skip RX peer handling when the interface is not
joined to avoid warnings in the RX path. |
| Notepad++ is a free and open-source source code editor. In versions 8.8.1 and prior, a privilege escalation vulnerability exists in the Notepad++ v8.8.1 installer that allows unprivileged users to gain SYSTEM-level privileges through insecure executable search paths. An attacker could use social engineering or clickjacking to trick users into downloading both the legitimate installer and a malicious executable to the same directory (typically Downloads folder - which is known as Vulnerable directory). Upon running the installer, the attack executes automatically with SYSTEM privileges. This issue has been fixed and will be released in version 8.8.2. |
| Teleport provides connectivity, authentication, access controls and audit for infrastructure. Community Edition versions before and including 17.5.1 are vulnerable to remote authentication bypass. At time of posting, there is no available open-source patch. |
| HCL BigFix Query is affected by a sensitive information disclosure in the WebUI Query application. An HTTP GET endpoint request returns discoverable responses that may disclose: group names, active user names (or IDs). An attacker can use that information to target individuals with phishing or other social-engineering attacks. |
| Dover Fueling Solutions ProGauge MagLink LX Consoles expose an undocumented and unauthenticated target communication framework (TCF) interface on a specific port. Files can be created, deleted, or modified, potentially leading to remote code execution. |
| gluestack-ui is a library of copy-pasteable components & patterns crafted with Tailwind CSS (NativeWind). Prior to commit e6b4271, a command injection vulnerability was discovered in the discussion-to-slack.yml GitHub Actions workflow. Untrusted discussion fields (title, body, etc.) were directly interpolated into shell commands in a run: block. An attacker could craft a malicious GitHub Discussion title or body (e.g., $(curl ...)) to execute arbitrary shell commands on the Actions runner. This issue has been fixed in commit e6b4271 where the discussion-to-slack.yml workflow was removed. Users should remove the discussion-to-slack.yml workflow if using a fork or derivative of this repository. |
