CVE-2024-56764 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-05-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ublk: detach gendisk from ublk device if add_disk() fails Inside ublk_abort_requests(), gendisk is grabbed for aborting all inflight requests. And ublk_abort_requests() is called when exiting the uring context or handling timeout. If add_disk() fails, the gendisk may have been freed when calling ublk_abort_requests(), so use-after-free can be caused when getting disk's reference in ublk_abort_requests(). Fixes the bug by detaching gendisk from ublk device if add_disk() fails.
CVE-2024-35847 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 4 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2025-05-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: irqchip/gic-v3-its: Prevent double free on error The error handling path in its_vpe_irq_domain_alloc() causes a double free when its_vpe_init() fails after successfully allocating at least one interrupt. This happens because its_vpe_irq_domain_free() frees the interrupts along with the area bitmap and the vprop_page and its_vpe_irq_domain_alloc() subsequently frees the area bitmap and the vprop_page again. Fix this by unconditionally invoking its_vpe_irq_domain_free() which handles all cases correctly and by removing the bitmap/vprop_page freeing from its_vpe_irq_domain_alloc(). CVE-2024-27394 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-05-04 7.4 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tcp: Fix Use-After-Free in tcp_ao_connect_init Since call_rcu, which is called in the hlist_for_each_entry_rcu traversal of tcp_ao_connect_init, is not part of the RCU read critical section, it is possible that the RCU grace period will pass during the traversal and the key will be free. To prevent this, it should be changed to hlist_for_each_entry_safe.
CVE-2024-26939 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2025-05-04 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/i915/vma: Fix UAF on destroy against retire race Object debugging tools were sporadically reporting illegal attempts to free a still active i915 VMA object when parking a GT believed to be idle. [161.359441] ODEBUG: free active (active state 0) object: ffff88811643b958 object type: i915_active hint: __i915_vma_active+0x0/0x50 [i915] [161.360082] WARNING: CPU: 5 PID: 276 at lib/debugobjects.c:514 debug_print_object+0x80/0xb0 ... We could prevent from that race by serializing i915_active_fini() with __active_retire() via ref->tree_lock, but that wouldn't stop the VMA from being used, e.g. from __i915_vma_retire() called at the end of __active_retire(), after that VMA has been already freed by a concurrent i915_vma_destroy() on return from the i915_active_fini(). Then, we should rather fix the issue at the VMA level, not in i915_active. Since __i915_vma_parked() is called from __gt_park() on last put of the GT's wakeref, the issue could be addressed by holding the GT wakeref long enough for __active_retire() to complete before that wakeref is released and the GT parked. I believe the issue was introduced by commit d93939730347 ("drm/i915: Remove the vma refcount") which moved a call to i915_active_fini() from a dropped i915_vma_release(), called on last put of the removed VMA kref, to i915_vma_parked() processing path called on last put of a GT wakeref. However, its visibility to the object debugging tool was suppressed by a bug in i915_active that was fixed two weeks later with commit e92eb246feb9 ("drm/i915/active: Fix missing debug object activation"). A VMA associated with a request doesn't acquire a GT wakeref by itself. Instead, it depends on a wakeref held directly by the request's active intel_context for a GT associated with its VM, and indirectly on that intel_context's engine wakeref if the engine belongs to the same GT as the VMA's VM. Those wakerefs are released asynchronously to VMA deactivation. Fix the issue by getting a wakeref for the VMA's GT when activating it, and putting that wakeref only after the VMA is deactivated. However, exclude global GTT from that processing path, otherwise the GPU never goes idle. Since __i915_vma_retire() may be called from atomic contexts, use async variant of wakeref put. Also, to avoid circular locking dependency, take care of acquiring the wakeref before VM mutex when both are needed. v7: Add inline comments with justifications for: - using untracked variants of intel_gt_pm_get/put() (Nirmoy), - using async variant of _put(), - not getting the wakeref in case of a global GTT, - always getting the first wakeref outside vm->mutex. v6: Since __i915_vma_active/retire() callbacks are not serialized, storing a wakeref tracking handle inside struct i915_vma is not safe, and there is no other good place for that. Use untracked variants of intel_gt_pm_get/put_async(). v5: Replace "tile" with "GT" across commit description (Rodrigo), - ---truncated---
CVE-2022-49362 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-05-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSD: Fix potential use-after-free in nfsd_file_put() nfsd_file_put_noref() can free @nf, so don't dereference @nf immediately upon return from nfsd_file_put_noref().
CVE-2023-52837 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-05-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nbd: fix uaf in nbd_open Commit 4af5f2e03013 ("nbd: use blk_mq_alloc_disk and blk_cleanup_disk") cleans up disk by blk_cleanup_disk() and it won't set disk->private_data as NULL as before. UAF may be triggered in nbd_open() if someone tries to open nbd device right after nbd_put() since nbd has been free in nbd_dev_remove(). Fix this by implementing ->free_disk and free private data in it.
CVE-2023-39434 1 Apple 4 Ipados, Iphone Os, Macos and 1 more 2025-05-02 8.8 High

CVE-2022-29228 2 Envoyproxy, Redhat 2 Envoy, Service Mesh 2025-04-23 7.5 High
Envoy is a cloud-native high-performance proxy. In versions prior to 1.22.1 the OAuth filter would try to invoke the remaining filters in the chain after emitting a local response, which triggers an ASSERT() in newer versions and corrupts memory on earlier versions. continueDecoding() shouldn’t ever be called from filters after a local reply has been sent. Users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this issue.
CVE-2022-29227 1 Envoyproxy 1 Envoy 2025-04-23 7.5 High
Envoy is a cloud-native high-performance edge/middle/service proxy. In versions prior to 1.22.1 if Envoy attempts to send an internal redirect of an HTTP request consisting of more than HTTP headers, there’s a lifetime bug which can be triggered. If while replaying the request Envoy sends a local reply when the redirect headers are processed, the downstream state indicates that the downstream stream is not complete. On sending the local reply, Envoy will attempt to reset the upstream stream, but as it is actually complete, and deleted, this result in a use-after-free. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade are advised to disable internal redirects if crashes are observed.
