| An integer overflow vulnerability exists in the write method of the Buffer class in Robocode version 1.9.3.6. The method fails to properly validate the length of data being written, allowing attackers to cause an overflow, potentially leading to buffer overflows and arbitrary code execution. This vulnerability can be exploited by submitting specially crafted inputs that manipulate the data length, leading to potential unauthorized code execution. |
| An insecure temporary file creation vulnerability exists in the AutoExtract component of Robocode version 1.9.3.6. The createTempFile method fails to securely create temporary files, allowing attackers to exploit race conditions and potentially execute arbitrary code or overwrite critical files. This vulnerability can be exploited by manipulating the temporary file creation process, leading to potential unauthorized actions. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
btrfs: fix use-after-free when COWing tree bock and tracing is enabled
When a COWing a tree block, at btrfs_cow_block(), and we have the
tracepoint trace_btrfs_cow_block() enabled and preemption is also enabled
(CONFIG_PREEMPT=y), we can trigger a use-after-free in the COWed extent
buffer while inside the tracepoint code. This is because in some paths
that call btrfs_cow_block(), such as btrfs_search_slot(), we are holding
the last reference on the extent buffer @buf so btrfs_force_cow_block()
drops the last reference on the @buf extent buffer when it calls
free_extent_buffer_stale(buf), which schedules the release of the extent
buffer with RCU. This means that if we are on a kernel with preemption,
the current task may be preempted before calling trace_btrfs_cow_block()
and the extent buffer already released by the time trace_btrfs_cow_block()
is called, resulting in a use-after-free.
Fix this by moving the trace_btrfs_cow_block() from btrfs_cow_block() to
btrfs_force_cow_block() before the COWed extent buffer is freed.
This also has a side effect of invoking the tracepoint in the tree defrag
code, at defrag.c:btrfs_realloc_node(), since btrfs_force_cow_block() is
called there, but this is fine and it was actually missing there. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
x86/ioapic: Handle allocation failures gracefully
Breno observed panics when using failslab under certain conditions during
runtime:
can not alloc irq_pin_list (-1,0,20)
Kernel panic - not syncing: IO-APIC: failed to add irq-pin. Can not proceed
panic+0x4e9/0x590
mp_irqdomain_alloc+0x9ab/0xa80
irq_domain_alloc_irqs_locked+0x25d/0x8d0
__irq_domain_alloc_irqs+0x80/0x110
mp_map_pin_to_irq+0x645/0x890
acpi_register_gsi_ioapic+0xe6/0x150
hpet_open+0x313/0x480
That's a pointless panic which is a leftover of the historic IO/APIC code
which panic'ed during early boot when the interrupt allocation failed.
The only place which might justify panic is the PIT/HPET timer_check() code
which tries to figure out whether the timer interrupt is delivered through
the IO/APIC. But that code does not require to handle interrupt allocation
failures. If the interrupt cannot be allocated then timer delivery fails
and it either panics due to that or falls back to legacy mode.
Cure this by removing the panic wrapper around __add_pin_to_irq_node() and
making mp_irqdomain_alloc() aware of the failure condition and handle it as
any other failure in this function gracefully. |
| Ceph is a distributed object, block, and file storage platform. In versions up to and including 19.2.3, using the argument `x-amz-copy-source` to put an object and specifying an empty string as its content leads to the RGW daemon crashing, resulting in a DoS attack. As of time of publication, no known patched versions exist. |
| OpenFGA is a high-performance and flexible authorization/permission engine built for developers and inspired by Google Zanzibar. OpenFGA v1.8.10 to v1.3.6 (Helm chart <= openfga-0.2.28, docker <= v.1.8.10) are vulnerable to authorization bypass when certain Check and ListObject calls are executed. This issue has been patched in version 1.8.11. |
| Vehicle Management System 1.0 contains a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the "Name" parameter of /vehicle-management/booking.php. |
| Improper access control of endpoint in HCL Domino Leap
allows certain admin users to import applications from the
server's filesystem. |
| A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in JeecgBoot up to 3.8.0. This vulnerability affects the function unzipFile of the file /jeecg-boot/airag/knowledge/doc/import/zip of the component Document Library Upload. The manipulation of the argument File leads to resource consumption. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| VeeVPN 1.6.1 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability in the VeePNService that allows remote attackers to execute code during startup or reboot with escalated privileges. Attackers can exploit this by providing a malicious service name, allowing them to inject commands and run as LocalSystem. |
| picklescan before 0.0.23 fails to detect malicious pickle files inside PyTorch model archives when certain ZIP file flag bits are modified. By flipping specific bits in the ZIP file headers, an attacker can embed malicious pickle files that remain undetected by PickleScan while still being successfully loaded by PyTorch's torch.load(). This can lead to arbitrary code execution when loading a compromised model. |
| picklescan before 0.0.23 is vulnerable to a ZIP archive manipulation attack that causes it to crash when attempting to extract and scan PyTorch model archives. By modifying the filename in the ZIP header while keeping the original filename in the directory listing, an attacker can make PickleScan raise a BadZipFile error. However, PyTorch's more forgiving ZIP implementation still allows the model to be loaded, enabling malicious payloads to bypass detection. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
MIPS: cpuinfo: Fix a warning for CONFIG_CPUMASK_OFFSTACK
When CONFIG_CPUMASK_OFFSTACK and CONFIG_DEBUG_PER_CPU_MAPS is selected,
cpu_max_bits_warn() generates a runtime warning similar as below while
we show /proc/cpuinfo. Fix this by using nr_cpu_ids (the runtime limit)
instead of NR_CPUS to iterate CPUs.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
gpio: Restrict usage of GPIO chip irq members before initialization
GPIO chip irq members are exposed before they could be completely
initialized and this leads to race conditions.
One such issue was observed for the gc->irq.domain variable which
was accessed through the I2C interface in gpiochip_to_irq() before
it could be initialized by gpiochip_add_irqchip(). This resulted in
Kernel NULL pointer dereference.
Following are the logs for reference :-
kernel: Call Trace:
kernel: gpiod_to_irq+0x53/0x70
kernel: acpi_dev_gpio_irq_get_by+0x113/0x1f0

To avoid such scenarios, restrict usage of GPIO chip irq members before
they are completely initialized. |
