CVSS v3.1 |
| A vulnerability in Outline.cc for Poppler prior to 23.06.0 allows a remote attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) (crash) via a crafted PDF file in OutlineItem::open. |
| This issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in Xcode 15, tvOS 17, watchOS 10, iOS 17 and iPadOS 17, macOS Sonoma 14. An app may be able to gain elevated privileges. |
| The issue was addressed with improved handling of caches. This issue is fixed in tvOS 17, iOS 17 and iPadOS 17, watchOS 10, macOS Sonoma 14. An app may be able to access user-sensitive data. |
| Exim before 4.97.1 allows SMTP smuggling in certain PIPELINING/CHUNKING configurations. Remote attackers can use a published exploitation technique to inject e-mail messages with a spoofed MAIL FROM address, allowing bypass of an SPF protection mechanism. This occurs because Exim supports <LF>.<CR><LF> but some other popular e-mail servers do not. |
| An issue was discovered in SchedMD Slurm 22.05.x and 23.02.x. There is Incorrect Access Control: an attacker can modified their extended group list that is used with the sbcast subsystem, and open files with an unauthorized set of extended groups. The fixed versions are 22.05.11 and 23.02.7. |
| An issue was discovered in SchedMD Slurm 22.05.x, 23.02.x, and 23.11.x. Because of a double free, attackers can cause a denial of service or possibly execute arbitrary code. The fixed versions are 22.05.11, 23.02.7, and 23.11.1. |
| An issue was discovered in SchedMD Slurm 22.05.x, 23.02.x, and 23.11.x. There is Improper Enforcement of Message Integrity During Transmission in a Communication Channel. This allows attackers to modify RPC traffic in a way that bypasses message hash checks. The fixed versions are 22.05.11, 23.02.7, and 23.11.1. |
| This issue was addressed by removing the vulnerable code. This issue is fixed in tvOS 17, watchOS 10, macOS Sonoma 14, iOS 17 and iPadOS 17, macOS Ventura 13.6.4. An app may be able to bypass Privacy preferences. |
| An issue was discovered IW44EncodeCodec.cpp in djvulibre 3.5.28 in allows attackers to cause a denial of service via divide by zero. |
| An issue was discovered in OpenStack Cinder through 24.0.0, Glance before 28.0.2, and Nova before 29.0.3. Arbitrary file access can occur via custom QCOW2 external data. By supplying a crafted QCOW2 image that references a specific data file path, an authenticated user may convince systems to return a copy of that file's contents from the server, resulting in unauthorized access to potentially sensitive data. All Cinder and Nova deployments are affected; only Glance deployments with image conversion enabled are affected. |
| PJSIP is a free and open source multimedia communication library written in C language implementing standard based protocols such as SIP, SDP, RTP, STUN, TURN, and ICE. In versions prior to and including 2.12.1 a stack buffer overflow vulnerability affects PJSIP users that use STUN in their applications, either by: setting a STUN server in their account/media config in PJSUA/PJSUA2 level, or directly using `pjlib-util/stun_simple` API. A patch is available in commit 450baca which should be included in the next release. There are no known workarounds for this issue. |
| Insufficient default configuration in HCL Leap
allows anonymous access to directory information. |
| Insufficient sanitization policy in HCL Leap
allows client-side script injection in the deployed application through the
HTML widget. |
| GNOME libsoup before 3.6.1 allows a buffer overflow in applications that perform conversion to UTF-8 in soup_header_parse_param_list_strict. There is a plausible way to reach this remotely via soup_message_headers_get_content_type (e.g., an application may want to retrieve the content type of a request or response). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
io_uring: check if we need to reschedule during overflow flush
In terms of normal application usage, this list will always be empty.
And if an application does overflow a bit, it'll have a few entries.
However, nothing obviously prevents syzbot from running a test case
that generates a ton of overflow entries, and then flushing them can
take quite a while.
Check for needing to reschedule while flushing, and drop our locks and
do so if necessary. There's no state to maintain here as overflows
always prune from head-of-list, hence it's fine to drop and reacquire
the locks at the end of the loop. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
filelock: Remove locks reliably when fcntl/close race is detected
When fcntl_setlk() races with close(), it removes the created lock with
do_lock_file_wait().
However, LSMs can allow the first do_lock_file_wait() that created the lock
while denying the second do_lock_file_wait() that tries to remove the lock.
Separately, posix_lock_file() could also fail to
remove a lock due to GFP_KERNEL allocation failure (when splitting a range
in the middle).
After the bug has been triggered, use-after-free reads will occur in
lock_get_status() when userspace reads /proc/locks. This can likely be used
to read arbitrary kernel memory, but can't corrupt kernel memory.
Fix it by calling locks_remove_posix() instead, which is designed to
reliably get rid of POSIX locks associated with the given file and
files_struct and is also used by filp_flush(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bonding: Fix out-of-bounds read in bond_option_arp_ip_targets_set()
In function bond_option_arp_ip_targets_set(), if newval->string is an
empty string, newval->string+1 will point to the byte after the
string, causing an out-of-bound read.

Fix it by adding a check of string length before using it. |
| Windows libarchive Remote Code Execution Vulnerability |
| Smarty is a template engine for PHP. In affected versions smarty did not properly escape javascript code. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary JavaScript code in the context of the user's browser session. This may lead to unauthorized access to sensitive user data, manipulation of the web application's behavior, or unauthorized actions performed on behalf of the user. Users are advised to upgrade to either version 3.1.48 or to 4.3.1 to resolve this issue. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
| Versions of the package follow-redirects before 1.15.4 are vulnerable to Improper Input Validation due to the improper handling of URLs by the url.parse() function. When new URL() throws an error, it can be manipulated to misinterpret the hostname. An attacker could exploit this weakness to redirect traffic to a malicious site, potentially leading to information disclosure, phishing attacks, or other security breaches. |
