ipv6: fix possible race in __fib6_drop_pcpu_from()
syzbot found a race in __fib6_drop_pcpu_from() [1]
If compiler reads more than once (*ppcpu_rt),
second read could read NULL, if another cpu clears
the value in rt6_get_pcpu_route().
Add a READ_ONCE() to prevent this race.
Also add rcu_read_lock()/rcu_read_unlock() because
we rely on RCU protection while dereferencing pcpu_rt.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tcp: Use refcount_inc_not_zero() in tcp_twsk_unique().
Anderson Nascimento reported a use-after-free splat in tcp_twsk_unique()
with nice analysis.
Since commit ec94c2696f0b ("tcp/dccp: avoid one atomic operation for
timewait hashdance"), inet_twsk_hashdance() sets TIME-WAIT socket's
sk_refcnt after putting it into ehash and releasing the bucket lock.
Thus, there is a small race window where other threads could try to
reuse the port during connect() and call sock_hold() in tcp_twsk_unique()
for the TIME-WAIT socket with zero refcnt.
If that happens, the refcnt taken by tcp_twsk_unique() is overwritten
and sock_put() will cause underflow, triggering a real use-after-free
somewhere else.
To avoid the use-after-free, we need to use refcount_inc_not_zero() in
tcp_twsk_unique() and give up on reusing the port if it returns false.

Due to an inefficient algorithm in libtasn1, decoding certain DER-encoded certificate data can take excessive time, leading to increased resource consumption. This flaw allows a remote attacker to send a specially crafted certificate, causing GnuTLS to become unresponsive or slow, resulting in a denial-of-service condition. |

Commit 64dc8c732f5c ("block, bfq: fix possible uaf for 'bfqq->bic'")
will access 'bic->bfqq' in bic_set_bfqq(), however, bfq_exit_icq_bfqq()
can free bfqq first, and then call bic_set_bfqq(), which will cause uaf.
Fix the problem by moving bfq_exit_bfqq() behind bic_set_bfqq(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
cxl/region: Fix decoder allocation crash
When an intermediate port's decoders have been exhausted by existing
regions, and creating a new region with the port in question in it's
hierarchical path is attempted, cxl_port_attach_region() fails to find a
port decoder (as would be expected), and drops into the failure / cleanup
path.
However, during cleanup of the region reference, a sanity check attempts
to dereference the decoder, which in the above case didn't exist. This
causes a NULL pointer dereference BUG.
To fix this, refactor the decoder allocation and de-allocation into
helper routines, and in this 'free' routine, check that the decoder,
@cxld, is valid before attempting any operations on it. |
| Weblate is a web based localization tool. Prior to version 5.17.1, when a user changes their password, browser sessions are correctly invalidated via "cycle_session_keys()", but DRF API tokens ("wlu_*" prefix) stored in "authtoken_token" are not revoked. This issue has been patched in version 5.17.1. |
| Jupyter Server is the backend for Jupyter web applications. In versions 2.17.0 and earlier, the Origin header validation uses Python's re.match() to check incoming origins against the allow_origin_pat configuration value. Because re.match() only anchors at the start of the string and does not require a full match, a pattern intended to match only a trusted domain (e.g., trusted.example.com) will also match any origin that begins with that domain followed by additional characters (e.g., trusted.example.com.evil.com). An attacker who controls such a domain can bypass the CORS origin restriction and make cross-origin requests to the Jupyter Server API from an untrusted site. This issue has been fixed in version 2.18.0. |
