CVSS v3.1 |
| myBB version 1.6.4 was distributed with an unauthorized backdoor embedded in the source code. The backdoor allowed remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code by injecting payloads into a specially crafted collapsed cookie. This vulnerability was introduced during packaging and was not part of the intended application logic. Exploitation requires no authentication and results in full compromise of the web server under the context of the web application. |
| EasyFTP Server versions up to 1.7.0.11 contain a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the FTP command parser. When processing the CWD (Change Working Directory) command, the server fails to properly validate the length of the input string, allowing attackers to overwrite memory on the stack. This flaw enables remote code execution without authentication, as EasyFTP allows anonymous access by default. The vulnerability was resolved in version 1.7.0.12, after which the product was renamed “UplusFtp.” |
| EasyFTP Server 1.7.0.11 and earlier contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability in its HTTP interface. When processing a GET request to list.html, the server fails to properly validate the length of the path parameter. Supplying an excessively long value causes a buffer overflow on the stack, potentially corrupting control flow structures. The vulnerability is exposed through the embedded web server and does not require authentication due to default anonymous access. The issue was resolved in version 1.7.0.12, after which the product was renamed to UplusFtp. |
| A malicious backdoor was embedded in the official ProFTPD 1.3.3c source tarball distributed between November 28 and December 2, 2010. The backdoor implements a hidden FTP command trigger that, when invoked, causes the server to execute arbitrary shell commands with root privileges. This allows remote, unauthenticated attackers to run any OS command on the FTP server host. |
| Cacti versions prior to 0.8.6-d contain a remote command execution vulnerability in the graph_view.php script. An authenticated user can inject arbitrary shell commands via the graph_start GET parameter, which is improperly handled during graph rendering. This flaw allows attackers to execute commands on the underlying operating system with the privileges of the web server process, potentially compromising system integrity. |
| Akeo Consulting Rufus prior to version 2.17.1187 does not adequately validate the integrity of updates downloaded over HTTP, allowing an attacker to easily convince a user to execute arbitrary code |
| A flaw was found in OpenStack Keystone. This vulnerability allows remote authenticated users to bypass intended authorization restrictions. This occurs because OpenStack Keystone does not properly handle EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) tokens when a user's role has been removed from a tenant. An attacker can leverage a token associated with a removed user role to gain unauthorized access. |
| An issue has been discovered in Ultimate-licensed GitLab EE affecting all versions starting 13.12 prior to 16.2.8, 16.3.0 prior to 16.3.5, and 16.4.0 prior to 16.4.1 that could allow an attacker to impersonate users in CI pipelines through direct transfer group imports. |
| phpgurukul Complaint Management System 2.0 is vulnerable to SQL Injection in /complaint-details.php via the cid parameter. |
| phpgurukul Online Shopping Portal 2.0 is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in /admin/insert-product.php, due to the lack of extension validation. |
| Pi-hole is a Linux network-level advertisement and Internet tracker blocking application. Multiple privilege escalation vulnerabilities were discovered in version 5.2.4 of Pi-hole core. See the referenced GitHub security advisory for details. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
macvlan: add forgotten nla_policy for IFLA_MACVLAN_BC_CUTOFF
The previous commit 954d1fa1ac93 ("macvlan: Add netlink attribute for
broadcast cutoff") added one additional attribute named
IFLA_MACVLAN_BC_CUTOFF to allow broadcast cutfoff.
However, it forgot to describe the nla_policy at macvlan_policy
(drivers/net/macvlan.c). Hence, this suppose NLA_S32 (4 bytes) integer
can be faked as empty (0 bytes) by a malicious user, which could leads
to OOB in heap just like CVE-2023-3773.
To fix it, this commit just completes the nla_policy description for
IFLA_MACVLAN_BC_CUTOFF. This enforces the length check and avoids the
potential OOB read. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
io_uring: fix fget leak when fs don't support nowait buffered read
Heming reported a BUG when using io_uring doing link-cp on ocfs2. [1]
Do the following steps can reproduce this BUG:
mount -t ocfs2 /dev/vdc /mnt/ocfs2
cp testfile /mnt/ocfs2/
./link-cp /mnt/ocfs2/testfile /mnt/ocfs2/testfile.1
umount /mnt/ocfs2
Then umount will fail, and it outputs:
umount: /mnt/ocfs2: target is busy.
While tracing umount, it blames mnt_get_count() not return as expected.
Do a deep investigation for fget()/fput() on related code flow, I've
finally found that fget() leaks since ocfs2 doesn't support nowait
buffered read.

This was introduced by commit a196c78b5443 in v5.18. Fix it by don't
re-assign req->file if it has already been assigned.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ext4: allow ext4_get_group_info() to fail
Previously, ext4_get_group_info() would treat an invalid group number
as BUG(), since in theory it should never happen. However, if a
malicious attaker (or fuzzer) modifies the superblock via the block
device while it is the file system is mounted, it is possible for
s_first_data_block to get set to a very large number. In that case,
when calculating the block group of some block number (such as the
starting block of a preallocation region), could result in an
underflow and very large block group number. Then the BUG_ON check in
ext4_get_group_info() would fire, resutling in a denial of service
attack that can be triggered by root or someone with write access to
the block device.
For a quality of implementation perspective, it's best that even if
the system administrator does something that they shouldn't, that it
will not trigger a BUG. So instead of BUG'ing, ext4_get_group_info()
will call ext4_error and return NULL. We also add fallback code in
all of the callers of ext4_get_group_info() that it might NULL.
Also, since ext4_get_group_info() was already borderline to be an
inline function, un-inline it. The results in a next reduction of the
compiled text size of ext4 by roughly 2k. |
| SQL injection vulnerability in search_form.php in Softbiz Freelancers Script 1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the sb_protype parameter. |

| Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in Softbiz Banner Exchange Script (aka Banner Exchange Network Script) 1.0 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via (1) the city parameter in (a) insertmember.php, and (2) a PHPSESSID cookie in (b) lostpassword.php, (c) gen_confirm_mem.php, and (d) index.php. |
| SQL injection vulnerability in searchresult.php in Softbiz Recipes Portal Script allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the sbcat_id parameter. |
| A vulnerability was found in insights-client. This security issue occurs because of insecure file operations or unsafe handling of temporary files and directories that lead to local privilege escalation. Before the insights-client has been registered on the system by root, an unprivileged local user or attacker could create the /var/tmp/insights-client directory (owning the directory with read, write, and execute permissions) on the system. After the insights-client is registered by root, an attacker could then control the directory content that insights are using by putting malicious scripts into it and executing arbitrary code as root (trivially bypassing SELinux protections because insights processes are allowed to disable SELinux system-wide). |
