CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
s390/dasd: Fix undersized format-check buffer
fmt_buffer_size in dasd_eckd_check_device_format() is declared as
int, even though one of the multiplicands, sizeof(struct eckd_count),
is a size_t. The expression
trkcount * rpt_max * sizeof(struct eckd_count)
is therefore correctly evaluated at 64-bit width, but the result is
silently truncated when it is stored back into the 32-bit
fmt_buffer_size variable. For a sufficiently large track range
(start_unit/stop_unit are caller-controlled) this truncation
yields a buffer size far smaller than the number of tracks actually
requested. kzalloc() then succeeds with an undersized allocation,
while the subsequent channel program build still operates on the
untruncated track count and writes past the end of that buffer.
Compute the buffer size with check_mul_overflow() and keep it in a
size_t, so that a value that no longer fits results in -EINVAL
instead of a silently truncated allocation size. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
io_uring: preserve task restrictions across exec
Per-task restrictions apply to all rings created by a task. Once
installed, they should not be dropped across exec.
For a task that has used io_uring, the exec cancellation path calls
__io_uring_free(). This frees both the task context and the per-task
restriction, so a ring created after exec is unrestricted.
Split task context cleanup into io_uring_free_tctx(), and use it from
the exec cancellation path. Keep __io_uring_free() for final task
cleanup, where both the context and restriction are released. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
igc: remove napi_synchronize() in igc_down()
When an AF_XDP zero-copy application is killed abruptly, the XSK pool is
torn down but NAPI keeps polling. igc_clean_rx_irq_zc() then returns the
full budget on every poll, so napi_complete_done() never clears
NAPI_STATE_SCHED.
igc_down() calls napi_synchronize() before napi_disable(), so it spins
forever waiting for that bit and the interface never goes down. Drop the
napi_synchronize() and let napi_disable() do the job -- it sets
NAPI_STATE_DISABLE, which forces the stuck poll to complete. Reorder it
ahead of igc_set_queue_napi() so the NAPI mapping is cleared only after
polling has stopped, matching the recent igb fix b1e067240379. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
iomap: add a separate bio_set for iomap_split_ioend
iomap_split_ioend can split bios that already come from
iomap_ioend_bioset and thus deadlock when the bioset is exhausted.
Add a separate bio_set to avoid this deadlock.
Christian Brauner <brauner@kernel.org> says:
Mark iomap_ioend_split_bioset static as it is only used in ioend.c,
fixing the sparse warning reported by the kernel test robot. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
of: reserved_mem: prevent OOB when too many dynamic regions are defined
On boot, fdt_scan_reserved_mem() saves each dynamically-placed
/reserved-memory subnode into a local array of size
MAX_RESERVED_REGIONS.
If the device tree defines more than MAX_RESERVED_REGIONS
dynamically-placed regions, fdt_scan_reserved_mem() writes past the
end of the local array.
Add a bounds check that logs an error and skips the excess regions,
restoring the original behavior. |
| Incorrect access control in the clearDiagnosisLog function of TOTOLINK T6 4.1.5cu.748_B20211015 allows unauthenticated attackers to erase diagnosis logs via sending a crafted POST request to /cgi-bin/cstecgi.cgi. |
| Incorrect access control in the recv_mesh_info_sync function of TOTOLINK T6 4.1.5cu.748_B20211015 allows unauthenticated attackers to force mesh configuration synchronization from an attacker-controlled host via sending a crafted MQTT message to the cs_broker component. |
| Incorrect access control in the keepAlive function of TOTOLINK T6 4.1.5cu.748_B20211015 allows unauthenticated attackers to emit indirect mesh heartbeat information toward the master via sending a crafted MQTT message to the cs_broker component. |
| Incorrect access control in the updatePriChannel function of TOTOLINK T6 4.1.5cu.748_B20211015 allows unauthenticated attackers to rescan and switch the primary mesh channel via sending a crafted MQTT message to the cs_broker component. |
| Dell PowerProtect Cyber Recovery, versions Prior to 20.3, contain an UNIX Symbolic Link (Symlink) Following vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Script injection. |
| Dell PowerProtect Cyber Recovery, versions prior to 20.3, contain an Improper Authentication vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Unauthorized access. |
| openssl_encrypt versions before 1.4.0 contain an authentication bypass vulnerability in pqc.py where AES-GCM decryption failures trigger fallback to unauthenticated AES-CTR mode. Attackers can modify ciphertext in transit to bypass integrity verification and perform bit-flipping attacks without detection. |
| In versions of Spring Authorization Server 1.5.0 through 1.5.7, the authorization endpoint performs insufficient validation of the request_uri parameter. An attacker can craft a request containing an invalid request_uri paired with an unvalidated redirect_uri, which can result in an open redirect to an attacker-controlled site. |
| JsonKafkaHeaderMapper and DefaultKafkaHeaderMapper include java.net in their default trusted packages list. When these mappers are used — which is the default configuration for all @KafkaListener consumers — an external Kafka producer can inject a java.net.InetAddress type via the spring_json_header_types message header.

| In versions of Spring Security's OAuth2 Authorization Server module 7.0.0 through 7.0.4, when Dynamic Client Registration is explicitly enabled, the registration endpoint performs insufficient validation of certain client metadata fields supplied by the registering client. An attacker who possesses a valid Initial Access Token can register a malicious client with crafted metadata, which, depending on server configuration and how the metadata is later rendered or used, may result in Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), Privilege Escalation, or Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF). |
| xmldom is a pure JavaScript W3C standard-based (XML DOM Level 2 Core) DOMParser and XMLSerializer module. Prior to @xmldom/xmldom versions 0.8.15 and 0.9.12, and in xmldom version 0.6.0 and earlier, Document.createEntityReference(name) accepts an invalid name and the ENTITY_REFERENCE_NODE serializer emits the resulting nodeName directly in &name; form. Directly serializing the node or fragment with XMLSerializer.serializeToString() and requireWellFormed: true can therefore break the entity-reference boundary and produce attacker-controlled XML markup when reparsed. The parser does not ordinarily create these nodes, and element-child insertion is rejected, so exploitation requires an application to create and directly serialize an EntityReference. This issue is fixed in @xmldom/xmldom versions 0.8.15 and 0.9.12; no fixed version is available for xmldom. |
| Any application shipping logs to RabbitMQ over TLS via the Log4j2 appender, relying on the documented default, is exposed to man-in-the-middle interception of every log event.
Spring AMQP 4.1.0
Spring AMQP 4.0.0 - 4.0.4
Spring AMQP 3.2.0 - 3.2.12
Spring AMQP 2.4.18 and earlier |
| pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.15.0, an attacker can craft a PDF that causes long runtimes when the pypdf/_utils.py function read_until_whitespace reads a stream containing a long run of bytes without whitespace. The function repeatedly performs immutable bytes concatenation in a one-byte loop, causing quadratic processing cost for the long non-whitespace input. This issue is fixed in version 6.15.0. |

| Wazuh 5.0.0-beta1 (fixed in 5.0.0-beta3) does not validate or override the cluster_name and cluster_node fields in inventory-sync Start FlatBuffer messages, while validating only the agentid against the authenticated agent identity. This allows a low-privileged enrolled agent to spoof cluster attribution in indexed inventory and vulnerability documents by forging wazuh.cluster.name values and influencing the document _id prefix, potentially tampering with inventory records or, in shared-indexer multi-cluster deployments, poisoning another cluster's records when numeric agent IDs collide. |
