CVSS v3.1 |
| ModSecurity 3.x through 3.0.5 mishandles excessively nested JSON objects. Crafted JSON objects with nesting tens-of-thousands deep could result in the web server being unable to service legitimate requests. Even a moderately large (e.g., 300KB) HTTP request can occupy one of the limited NGINX worker processes for minutes and consume almost all of the available CPU on the machine. Modsecurity 2 is similarly vulnerable: the affected versions include 2.8.0 through 2.9.4. |
| In ModSecurity before 2.9.6 and 3.x before 3.0.8, HTTP multipart requests were incorrectly parsed and could bypass the Web Application Firewall. NOTE: this is related to CVE-2022-39956 but can be considered independent changes to the ModSecurity (C language) codebase. |
| IBM Cognos Controller 11.0.0 through 11.0.1 and IBM Controller 11.1.0 could allow an unauthorized user to obtain valid tokens to gain access to protected resources due to improper certificate validation. |
| IBM Cognos Controller 11.0.0 through 11.0.1 and IBM Controller 11.1.0 is vulnerable to exposure of Artifactory API keys. This vulnerability allows users to publish code to private packages or repositories under the name of the organization. |
| IBM Cognos Controller 11.0.0 through 11.0.1 and IBM Controller 11.1.0 could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information when a stack trace is returned in the browser. |
| IBM Cognos Controller 11.0.0 through 11.0.1 and IBM Controller 11.1.0 could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information when a detailed technical error message is returned in the browser. This information could be used in further attacks against the system. |
| IBM MQ 9.3 LTS, 9.3 CD, 9.4 LTS, and 9.4 CD web console could allow a local user to obtain sensitive information when a detailed technical error message is returned. |
| A vulnerability in the SNMP subsystem of Cisco IOS Software and Cisco IOS XE Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to cause a DoS condition on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to improper error handling when parsing SNMP requests. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted SNMP request to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the device to reload unexpectedly, resulting in a DoS condition.
This vulnerability affects SNMP versions 1, 2c, and 3. To exploit this vulnerability through SNMP v2c or earlier, the attacker must know a valid read-write or read-only SNMP community string for the affected system. To exploit this vulnerability through SNMP v3, the attacker must have valid SNMP user credentials for the affected system. |

| A vulnerability in the SNMP subsystem of Cisco IOS Software, Cisco IOS XE Software, and Cisco IOS XR Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to cause a DoS condition on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to improper error handling when parsing SNMP requests. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted SNMP request to an affected device. For Cisco IOS and IOS XE Software, a successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the device to reload unexpectedly, resulting in a DoS condition. For Cisco IOS XR Software, a successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the SNMP process to restart, resulting in an interrupted SNMP response from an affected device. Devices that are running Cisco IOS XR Software will not reload.
This vulnerability affects SNMP versions 1, 2c, and 3. To exploit this vulnerability through SNMP v2c or earlier, the attacker must know a valid read-write or read-only SNMP community string for the affected system. To exploit this vulnerability through SNMP v3, the attacker must have valid SNMP user credentials for the affected system. |

| webchess v1.0 was discovered to contain a SQL injection vulnerability via the $playerID parameter at mainmenu.php. NOTE: this is disputed by a third party who indicates that the playerID is a session variable controlled by the server, and thus cannot be used for exploitation. |
| Out-of-bounds Read vulnerability in Samsung Open Source rLottie allows Overflow Buffers. This issue affects rLottie: V0.2. |
| A privilege escalation vulnerability existed in the Below service prior to v0.9.0 due to the creation of a world-writable directory at /var/log/below. This could have allowed local unprivileged users to escalate to root privileges through symlink attacks that manipulate files such as /etc/shadow. |
| Heap-based Buffer Overflow in GitHub repository radareorg/radare2 prior to 5.9.0. |
| Use after free in DNS in Google Chrome prior to 116.0.5845.96 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| An invalid Polkit Authentication check and missing authentication requirements for D-Bus methods allowed any local user to configure arbitrary VPN setups.
*This bug only affects Mozilla VPN on Linux. Other operating systems are unaffected.* This vulnerability affects Mozilla VPN 2.16.1 < (Linux). |
