CVSS v3.1 |
| Insecure Direct Object Reference / missing object-level authorization in the Akia keyless entry cloud service. The unlock action is relying on a client-supplied room/door identifier that is not properly authorized server-side against the authenticated guest's booking. An authenticated guest could unlock rooms other than their own, resulting in unauthorized physical access to guest rooms at an affected property.
As of 19th September 2026 the service is no more vulnerable to this attack (feedback received by the reporter).
The attack is remote but the effect is local to an affected property. |
| Rapid7 Bulk Export MCP versions 0.2.5 through 0.6.1 suffer from a GraphQL query injection issue in the export-status component (`get_export_status` in `src/export_manager.py`), whereby the `export_id` value — an unvalidated MCP tool argument reaching the function via the `check_rapid7_export_status` and `download_rapid7_export` tools — is interpolated directly into the GraphQL query string. A crafted `export_id` containing quote and brace characters can terminate the intended `export(id: "...")` selection early and append attacker-controlled root-level selections (for example, schema introspection), producing a single well-formed GraphQL document that is then sent to the Rapid7 export API under the operator's own API key.
Notably, this issue does not grant an existing actor any access they do not already have: every injected query executes within the operator's own already-authenticated API scope, using the operator's own valid API key, and cannot cross a tenant or account boundary. A directly-malicious operator gains nothing they could not already do by calling the API directly; the realistic exposure is limited to a compromised or careless upstream MCP client, or indirect prompt injection forwarding an unvalidated identifier. This is fixed in version 0.6.2, which passes `export_id` as a parameterized GraphQL variable (`$exportId: ID!`). |
| A use-after-free vulnerability was found in QEMU's 9pfs subsystem. A race condition between the main thread and a worker thread when processing concurrent Tlcreate and Twalk requests allows a malicious guest user to craft a fid path containing stale heap data, bypassing directory traversal restrictions and escaping the shared directory boundary. This can lead to arbitrary host file read/write and code execution (VM escape) as the QEMU process user. |
| FriendsOfFlarum OAuth allows users to log in to Flarum with GitHub, Twitter, Facebook, and other providers. Prior to 1.7.4 and 2.0.0-beta.4, the Discord OAuth provider does not check the verified field returned for an OAuth email before passing the address to Flarum core as trusted through provideTrustedEmail(). When Discord sign-in is enabled, an unauthenticated attacker who knows the email address of a Flarum user can configure a Discord account with that unverified address and a verified phone number, then sign in to cause Flarum to match the trusted address, link the attacker-controlled Discord identity to the existing user, and authenticate as the victim without a password or victim interaction. Exploitation requires that the victim's email address is not already associated with a Discord account, and it can compromise administrator accounts. Other bundled providers were not confirmed to be practically exploitable by this method because their relevant authentication flows return only verified or confirmed email addresses. This issue is fixed in versions 1.7.4 and 2.0.0-beta.4. |
| A flaw was found in NetworkManager-iodine, the iodine VPN plugin for NetworkManager. A local unprivileged user can exploit a vulnerability in how the 'nameserver' setting is processed when establishing an iodine VPN connection. By embedding shell metacharacters (special characters that can execute commands) in the 'nameserver' value, an attacker can inject and execute arbitrary commands. These commands run with root privileges before the application drops its elevated permissions, leading to local privilege escalation. |
| Improper neutralization of input during web page generation ('cross-site scripting') vulnerability in The Wikimedia Foundation Mediawiki - Thanks Extension allows Stored XSS.
This issue affects Mediawiki - Thanks Extension: from * before 1.43.10/1.45.5/1.46.1. |
| A flaw was found in NetworkManager-sstp, the SSTP VPN plugin for NetworkManager. A local unprivileged user can exploit this vulnerability by embedding special characters, known as shell metacharacters, into VPN connection profile fields such as CA certificate or proxy settings. These unescaped characters are then processed by the `pppd` daemon, which runs with root privileges, allowing the attacker to execute arbitrary commands with elevated permissions when a malicious VPN connection is activated. |
| A flaw was found in NetworkManager-fortisslvpn, the FortiSSLVPN plugin for NetworkManager. The nm-fortisslvpn-service improperly handles carriage-return/line-feed (CR/LF) characters in VPN connection profile credentials. A local unprivileged user can exploit this by crafting a malicious VPN profile to inject additional configuration directives. This can lead to arbitrary code execution with root privileges when the crafted VPN connection is activated. |
| A flaw was found in NetworkManager-vpnc. This vulnerability allows a local unprivileged user to escalate privileges to root. By injecting a newline character into the VPN username field, an attacker can manipulate the vpnc configuration to execute an arbitrary program with root privileges when the malicious VPN connection is activated. |
| A flaw was found in NetworkManager-vpnc, a VPN plugin for NetworkManager. A local unprivileged user can exploit this vulnerability by injecting a newline character into the CA-File path. This manipulation allows the user to execute arbitrary commands as the root user, leading to local privilege escalation. |
| Improper removal of sensitive information before storage or transfer vulnerability in Wikimedia Foundation's Mediawiki - FlaggedRevs extension through 1.46.0. |
| Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation (XSS or 'Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in Wikimedia Foundation Mediawiki - TemplateSandbox Extension allows Cross-Site Scripting (XSS).
This issue affects Mediawiki - TemplateSandbox Extension: from * before 1.46.1, 1.45.5, 1.43.10. |
| Missing Authorization vulnerability in Wikimedia Foundation Mediawiki - Translate Extension allows Accessing Functionality Not Properly Constrained by ACLs.
This issue affects Mediawiki - Translate Extension: from * before 1.46.1, 1.45.5, 1.43.10. |
| Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection') vulnerability in Wikimedia Foundation Mediawiki - ExternalData Extension allows OS Command Injection.
This issue affects Mediawiki - ExternalData Extension: from * before 3.7. |
| The File Manager WordPress plugin before 8.0.5, FileOrganizer WordPress plugin before 1.2.1, File Manager Pro WordPress plugin before 2.1.3 do not correctly validate the origin of window messages received by the file browser they load on their admin screens, accepting any origin that is a leading string prefix of the site's own address, which allows an unauthenticated attacker to run arbitrary JavaScript in the session of a logged-in administrator who visits a page under their control.
The defect is in the file-manager library all three bundle, and every version below 2.1.70 carries it. Updating the bundled library closes it. |
| The Ultra Addons for Contact Form 7 plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload due to insufficient file type validation in the 'uacf7_wpcf7_mail_components' function in all versions up to, and including, 3.5.50. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible. Note: This is only exploitable when the plugin's PDF Generator module is enabled, which is disabled by default. |
| Contrast is a Kubernetes runtime for confidential containers. In versions before 1.12.1, the secure persistent volume feature is vulnerable to a malicious host supplying a crafted LUKS2 volume to a pod VM. LUKS2 volume metadata is not authenticated and, with cryptsetup versions prior to 2.8.1, a header specifying the null keyslot encryption algorithm (cipher_null-ecb) is accepted without error. Because the Contrast Initializer assumes a device is protected if `cryptsetup open` succeeds with the secret seed, the guest will open the attacker-supplied volume and write secret data in plaintext, or under a volume key known to the attacker, allowing the host to read confidential data that should have been encrypted. Contrast v1.12.1 ships cryptsetup 2.8.1, which disables null ciphers in keyslots when the passphrase is non-empty; v1.13.0 adds detached-header validation in guest memory and integrity protection for secure persistent storage. Contrast persistent volumes were not integrity protected, so integrity impact is not considered. |
| Edgelesssys Contrast is a confidential-computing runtime for Kubernetes. In versions 1.9.0 before 1.12.2, the initializer logs the full NewMeshCert response — which contains the workload secret — to standard output at INFO level. As a result, workload secrets are exposed to any Kubernetes user with get or list permission on pods/logs. Because workload secrets are used for encrypted storage and Vault integration, those must also be considered compromised. This is a regression of GHSA-h5f8-crrq-4pw8. |
| Contrast, Edgeless Systems' runtime for confidential containers on Kubernetes, is affected in versions up to and including 1.9.0. The VOLUME directive in a Dockerfile (config.volumes in the OCI image configuration) is only a hint and is not handled specially by Kubernetes, but containerd adds a mount point for it when Kubernetes sets none, requiring the runtime to be able to push arbitrary data to the Kata agent. As a result, on bare-metal Contrast deployments (AKS deployments are not affected) that run an image declaring at least one VOLUME for which no Kubernetes mount exists at that path, the untrusted host can write arbitrary file trees below that mount point inside the confidential container, compromising the integrity of a directory that is typically important to the application's core functionality. Version 1.9.1 fixes the issue by disallowing this configuration in `contrast generate`. |
| Contrast (Edgeless Systems) before 1.8.1 logs the workload secret to stderr, and thus to Kubernetes logs, when the Contrast initializer is configured with CONTRAST_LOG_LEVEL set to info or debug. Because info is the default, all installations that do not customize the initializer log level are affected. This exposes workload secrets — normally accessible only to the Contrast Coordinator, the initializer, the seedshare owner, and the workload owner — to Kubernetes users with get or list permission on pods/logs and to anyone with read access to the Kubernetes log storage, such as the cloud provider. Deployments that do not use workload secrets are unaffected. |
