CVSS v3.1 |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Text Shaping allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Xinference through 4.0.1 contains a path traversal vulnerability on Windows that allows unauthenticated attackers to write and delete arbitrary .json files via backslash sequences in model_name. Attackers can register a persisted custom model through POST /v1/model_registrations/{model_type} with names like ..\..\evil to overwrite configuration or data files writable by the Xinference process. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: skmsg: preserve sg.copy across SG transforms
The sk_msg sg.copy bitmap is part of the scatterlist entry ownership
state. A set bit tells sk_msg_compute_data_pointers() not to expose the
entry through writable BPF ctx->data. This protects entries backed by
pages that are not private to the sk_msg, such as splice-backed file
page-cache pages.
Several sk_msg transform paths move, copy, split, or compact
msg->sg.data[] entries without moving the matching sg.copy bit. This can
make an externally backed entry arrive at a new slot with a clear copy
bit. A later SK_MSG verdict can then expose sg_virt(sge) as writable
ctx->data and BPF stores can modify the original page cache.
Keep sg.copy synchronized with sg.data[] whenever entries are
transferred, shifted, split, or copied into a new sk_msg. Clear the bit
when an entry is replaced by a newly allocated private page or freed.
This covers the BPF pull/push/pop helpers, sk_msg_shift_left/right(),
sk_msg_xfer(), and tls_split_open_record(), including the partial tail
entry created during TLS open-record splitting. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amdgpu/jpeg: set no_user_fence for JPEG v5.3.0 ring
JPEG rings do not support 64-bit user fence writes, reject CS
submissions with user fences.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ieee802154: 6lowpan: only accept IPv6 packets in lowpan_xmit()
The aoe driver (or similar) generates a non-IPv6 packet
(e.g., ETH_P_AOE) and queues it for transmission via dev_queue_xmit()
on a 6LoWPAN interface (configured by the user or test case).
Since the packet is not IPv6, the 6LoWPAN header_ops->create function
(lowpan_header_create or header_create) returns early without initializing
the lowpan_addr_info structure in the skb headroom.
In the transmit function (lowpan_xmit), the driver calls lowpan_header
(or setup_header) which unconditionally copies and uses the lowpan_addr_info
from the headroom, which contains uninitialized data.
Fix this by dropping non IPv6 packets.
A similar fix is needed in net/bluetooth/6lowpan.c bt_xmit(). |
| The Form Maker by 10Web – Mobile-Friendly Drag & Drop Contact Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the 'inputs (array key)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 1.15.48 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
xfrm: esp: restore combined single-frag length gate
The ESP out-of-place fast path appends the trailer in esp_output_head()
before esp_output_tail() allocates the destination page frag. The
head-side gate currently checks skb->data_len and tailen separately, but
the tail code allocates a single destination frag from the combined
post-trailer skb->data_len.
Reject the page-frag fast path when the combined aligned length exceeds a
page. Otherwise skb_page_frag_refill() may fall back to a single page while
the destination sg still spans the combined skb->data_len.
Restore this combined-length page gate for both IPv4 and IPv6. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
x86/ftrace: Relocate %rip-relative percpu refs in dynamic trampolines
With CONFIG_CALL_DEPTH_TRACKING enabled on an x86 retbleed-affected platform
(eg: Skylake), with retbleed=stuff, registering a dynamic ftrace trampoline
crashes on the first call into the traced function:

Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception
This small reproducer allows to easily trigger the crash:
# echo 'p __x64_sys_clock_nanosleep' > /sys/kernel/tracing/kprobe_events
# echo 1 > /sys/kernel/tracing/events/kprobes/p___x64_sys_clock_nanosleep_0/enable
# usleep 1
Monitoring the crash under GDB points to the exact instruction in charge of
incrementing the call depth:
sarq $5, %gs:__x86_call_depth(%rip)
This instruction matches the one inserted by the ftrace_regs_caller from
ftrace_64.S. This emitted code was likely working fine until the introduction
of
59bec00ace28 ("x86/percpu: Introduce %rip-relative addressing to PER_CPU_VAR()"):
it has made the call depth accounting addressing relative to $rip, instead of
being based on an absolute address.
As this code exact location depends on where the trampoline lives in memory,
the corresponding displacement needs to be adjusted at runtime to actually
correctly find the per-cpu __x86_call_depth value, otherwise the targeted
address is wrong, leading to the page fault seen above.
Fix the %rip-relative displacement of the copied CALL_DEPTH_ACCOUNT
instruction (from ftrace_regs_caller) by calling text_poke_apply_relocation(),
as it is done for example by the x86 BPF JIT compiler through
x86_call_depth_emit_accounting(). This corrects both CALL_DEPTH_ACCOUNT slots,
in ftrace_caller and ftrace_regs_caller.

| The RemoteUserStoreManagerService does not sufficiently validate password change attempts when the password history validation feature is enabled. This oversight allows an attacker to repeatedly attempt password guesses for a user account without being adequately restricted.
Exploiting this vulnerability enables an attacker to discover a user's password through brute force, leading to account impersonation. The success rate of such an attack is influenced by the complexity of the targeted user's password, with simpler passwords increasing the likelihood of compromise. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
crypto: pcrypt - restore callback for non-parallel fallback
pcrypt installs pcrypt_aead_done() on the child AEAD request before
trying to submit it through padata. If padata_do_parallel() returns
-EBUSY, pcrypt falls back to calling the child AEAD directly.
That fallback must not keep the padata completion callback. Otherwise
an asynchronous completion runs pcrypt_aead_done() even though the
request was never enrolled in padata.
Restore the original request callback and callback data before calling
the child AEAD directly. This keeps the fallback path aligned with a
direct AEAD request while leaving the parallel path unchanged. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
espintcp: use sk_msg_free_partial to fix partial send
sk_msg_free_partial() ensures consistency of the skmsg at every
iteration, without having to manually handle uncharges and offsets.
This simplifies the code, and fixes some bugs in skmsg accounting when
we don't send the full contents. |
| Buffer Copy without Checking Size of Input in certain ASUS router models allows an adjacent authenticated user to corrupt device operations and cause a denial of service via an HTTP request with input exceeding the expected length.
Refer to the ' Security Update for ASUS Router Firmware' section on the ASUS Security Advisory for more information. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
misc: nsm: pin the module while the device is open
misc_open() installs a misc driver's file operations with fops_get(),
which pins file_operations::owner before replacing the file's f_op. The
NSM misc device leaves nsm_dev_fops.owner unset, so opening /dev/nsm does
not take a module reference on the nsm driver.
If the driver is built as a module, an open file descriptor can therefore
survive rmmod of the module that provides its ioctl callbacks. A later
ioctl through that descriptor can call into unloaded module text.
Set nsm_dev_fops.owner to THIS_MODULE so the misc core holds the module
while any /dev/nsm file descriptor is open, matching the lifetime
expectation for the installed file operations. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
KVM: SEV: Do cache maintenance on the source VM during intra-host migration
Manually perform cache maintenance on the source VM during intra-host
migration to ensure no stale data is left in CPU caches after the VM is
destroyed. Because the source VM is "converted" to a non-SEV VM, KVM's
memory reclaim flows won't trigger cache maintenance, e.g. when all guest
memory is reclaimed in response to detaching from the mmu_notifier.
Note, relying on the destination VM to do cache maintenance isn't an option
as KVM doesn't require identical guest memory configurations, i.e. the
source VM may have access to memory that the destination VM does not.
Enforcing equivalent memory configurations is infeasible, as it would
require a *deep* comparison of memslots, e.g. to verify that not only are
the memslot identical, but what the memslots point at is also identical. |
