CVSS v3.1 |
Open Access Management (OpenAM) is an access management solution. Prior to 16.1.1, MSISDNValidation in the MSISDN authentication module concatenates the request-supplied MSISDN value into an LDAP search filter without escaping, while the default empty trusted-gateway list allows all traffic. In a realm where an MSISDN module is enabled in a reachable authentication chain, an unauthenticated remote attacker can inject LDAP filter metacharacters, select an arbitrary matching user, and obtain a normal authenticated OpenAM session without a password. This issue is fixed in version 16.1.1.
OpenDJ is an LDAPv3 compliant directory service. Prior to 5.1.1, the JMX RMI connector in opendj-server-legacy/src/main/java/org/opends/server/protocols/jmx/RmiConnector.java processes attacker-controlled credential objects before authentication without a restrictive jmx.remote.rmi.server.credentials.filter.pattern, and RmiAuthenticator.authenticate in opendj-server-legacy/src/main/java/org/opends/server/protocols/jmx/RmiAuthenticator.java accepts an unconstrained Object array rather than a two-element String[]. When the JMX Connection Handler is enabled and its TCP listener is reachable, an unauthenticated remote attacker can submit a crafted serialized Java object and achieve code execution in the OpenDJ server process. The handler is disabled by default, and successful exploitation depends on the runtime classpath and Java version; remote code execution was demonstrated against OpenDJ 4.4.15 on JDK 11 with Jackson 2.12.6.1. This issue is fixed in 5.1.1.
A vulnerability was detected in D-Link DIR-878 120B05. This affects the function SetDynamicDNSIPv6Settings of the component Dynamic DNS IPv6 Settings. The manipulation of the argument IPv6Address/Hostname results in stack-based buffer overflow. The attack may be launched remotely.
A flaw has been found in D-Link DWR-M921 1.1.52. Impacted is the function system of the file /boafrm/formDiskFormat. This manipulation of the argument partition causes os command injection. The attack may be initiated remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used.
Ghostscript before 10.08.0 contains a heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the JPEG 2000 output adapter (base/sjpx_openjpeg.c) that allows attackers to cause memory corruption by supplying a crafted PDF containing a JPEG 2000 image with mismatched component subsampling factors. When image components declare different subsampling values, the non-samescale sub-byte-depth output path allocates a row buffer sized for packed output but writes a full byte per output column regardless of bit depth, overflowing the allocation and corrupting internal chunk-allocator metadata to achieve code execution.
A weakness has been identified in Totolink A3002MU Hh-B20211125.1046. This vulnerability affects the function formFilter of the file /boafrm/formFilter of the component boa. Executing a manipulation of the argument ip6addr can lead to buffer overflow. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks.
Open Access Management (OpenAM) is an access management solution. Prior to 16.1.2, WebAuthnAuthentication.deserialize applies an ObjectInputFilter that allows every serialized object at depth greater than 1 and therefore constrains only an AuthenticatorImpl root object. A pre-authentication attacker can supply a userHandle whose serialized graph has a valid AuthenticatorImpl root and a nested gadget class, causing readObject or readResolve execution before the cast and assertion verification when a usable gadget is on the classpath. This bypasses the incomplete remediation for the earlier WebAuthn deserialization vulnerability. This issue is fixed in version 16.1.2.
Open Access Management (OpenAM) is an access management solution. Prior to 16.1.1, AuthorizationCodeGrantTypeHandler requires a code_verifier only when the realm-wide codeVerifierEnforced setting is enabled, even when an authorization code stores a code_challenge. Because that setting is disabled by default, an attacker who intercepts a PKCE-protected authorization code can omit code_verifier and redeem the code, while an explicitly incorrect verifier is rejected. Public clients are directly affected, and confidential-client exploitation additionally requires client authentication material or another redemption context. This issue is fixed in version 16.1.1.
Open Access Management (OpenAM) is an access management solution. Prior to 16.1.1, WebAuthnAuthentication loads a serialized AuthenticatorImpl object graph from the configured userAttribute through loadAuthenticators without an ObjectInputFilter. Exploitation requires the WebAuthn flow to be reachable and an attacker to have previously written controlled data to that attribute through delegated administration, provisioning, directory access, legacy REST self-registration, or unsafe configuration. When those non-default conditions hold, the data is deserialized before assertion verification and can execute a classpath gadget in the application server process. This issue is fixed in version 16.1.1.
An unauthenticated OS command injection vulnerability exists in the ping.php endpoint, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system and achieve remote code execution.
pig before 4.1.0 contains an authentication bypass vulnerability in the /register/password endpoint where password verification results are discarded, allowing any value as the current password. Remote attackers can submit a username with an incorrect current password to overwrite any account credential including the admin account and gain full administrative control.
Casdoor through 4.4.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in the /api/mcp endpoint that allows attackers with any application's clientId and clientSecret to gain unrestricted access to user administration across all organizations. Attackers can enumerate user records including password salts and email addresses, create administrator accounts, modify existing users, and delete them in any organization by supplying legitimate credentials from a single application.
The urwid web display backend (urwid/display/web.py) generates web session identifiers (urwid_id) in Screen.start() by concatenating two random.randrange(10**9) calls that use Python's Mersenne Twister PRNG, which is not cryptographically secure. Each call consumes approximately 30 bits of PRNG state, and the Mersenne Twister internal state is approximately 19,937 bits, so an attacker who observes approximately 334 session IDs (for example via the X-Urwid-ID HTTP response header) can fully reconstruct the internal state and predict all past and future session IDs (Path B). The same identifier is also used as the filename of a FIFO created in the world-listable /tmp directory (for example /tmp/urwid375487765176907690.in), so any local user on the host can list /tmp to enumerate active session tokens directly (Path A). With a valid session ID, an attacker can read the victim's terminal screen via the polling endpoint, inject keystrokes into the victim's session (yielding OS-level code execution with the session owner's privileges if the session runs a shell), and inject exit sequences or flood the FIFO to terminate or crash the session. A prior Bandit S311 warning on this usage was suppressed with # noqa: S311 rather than fixed
Casdoor through 4.4.0 fails to properly mask the instance-wide built-in certificate private key in /api/get-certs and /api/get-cert endpoints, allowing organization administrators to retrieve it. Attackers can use the exposed private key to forge JWT tokens for any user in any organization, including global administrators.
SPIP before version 4.4.18 contains a missing authorization vulnerability in sensitive actions under ecrire/action/ that allows unauthenticated attackers to invoke privileged actions by supplying only a valid CSRF nonce without any server-side permission check. Attackers can bypass template-level authorization guards through direct HTTP requests to invoke actions such as editer_auteur, enabling arbitrary account password rewrites including administrator accounts and resulting in full account takeover.
SPIP before 4.4.18 contains a mass assignment vulnerability in the editer_objet action that allows unauthenticated attackers to write arbitrary rows to any SQL table lacking a champs_editables allowlist by supplying an attacker-controlled arg parameter resolving to internal database tables. Attackers can insert a malicious row into the spip_jobs queue with a controlled PHP function and arguments, which is then dynamically executed when the cron processes the queue, resulting in remote code execution.
An improper validation vulnerability exists within PingAM where a well-crafted request allows arbitrary or protected ID Token claims to be set or overridden. In certain configurations this could allow an attacker to bypass authentication controls via spoofing leading to privilege escalation or impersonation.
LightLLM through 1.2.0 contains a remote code execution vulnerability in the Config Server's unauthenticated /visual_register WebSocket endpoint that passes the first client frame directly to pickle.loads(). Attackers can reach the Config Server port and send a malicious serialized payload with a __reduce__ method to execute arbitrary code with Config Server process privileges.
| The LdapAuth and LinOTPAuth authentication plugins in MISP contain an authentication bypass vulnerability. Both LdapAuthenticate and LinOTPAuthenticate replace CakePHP's FormAuthenticate class but fail to replicate its _checkFields() input validation guard. As a result, the email and password fields extracted from the login request are passed to downstream authentication logic without verifying that they are non-empty strings.
In the LDAP authenticator, an empty or null password is forwarded to ldap_bind(). Per RFC 4513 section 5.1.2, a bind request with a valid DN and an empty password constitutes an unauthenticated bind, which many LDAP directory servers accept as successful. An attacker who knows any valid user email address in the directory can therefore authenticate as that user without possessing a password. Additionally, non-string values (null, false, arrays) are either coerced to empty strings by ldap_bind(), raise TypeErrors, or are misinterpreted as find conditions in _findUser(), all of which can lead to unintended authentication outcomes.
In the LinOTP authenticator, the same missing guard allows non-string credentials to be concatenated into the LinOTP verification request, and in the mixed-authentication branch an empty password is accepted against a stored hash of the empty string.
A secondary issue in the LDAP authenticator is that newly created user accounts (auto-provisioned on first LDAP login) were assigned an empty password. Because the save path skips validation, the empty string is hashed and stored. If the user later ceases to be found in LDAP and the mixed-authentication fallback is used, the stored hash of the empty string verifies against an empty password, again permitting unauthenticated access.
The vulnerability requires that the affected plugin (LdapAuth or LinOTPAuth) is enabled on the MISP instance and that the attacker knows at least one valid email address registered in the directory or MISP user store. No prior authentication is required. Successful exploitation grants the attacker the full privileges of the impersonated user, which may include administrative access to threat intelligence data.
Version affected: ≤2.5.45 |
parallax filament-comments through 3.0.0 contains a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability in comment body rendering that allows authenticated panel users to inject malicious scripts. Attackers can store XSS payloads in comment bodies that execute in the browsers of other users viewing those comments, including administrators, enabling session token theft and unauthorized actions.
