| PJSIP is a free and open source multimedia communication library written in C. Prior to commit 628b716, a stack buffer overflow exists in the PJLIB-UTIL telnet CLI front-end when redrawing the command line during history recall (handle_up_down() in cli_telnet.c). This affects only applications that enable the telnet CLI front-end (same gating as the related CLI issue). The line-redraw sequence for a recalled history entry can accumulate more data than a fixed-size stack buffer holds, which may lead to application termination. Exploitation requires access to the unauthenticated telnet CLI, which already permits arbitrary CLI commands, so the additional impact is limited. Applications that do not enable the telnet CLI front-end are not affected. This issue has been patched via commit 628b716. |

| Angular is a development platform for building mobile and desktop web applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other languages. Prior to 20.3.30, 21.2.22, and 22.1.4, Angular server-side rendering (SSR) in @angular/platform-server serializes ProcessingInstruction DOM nodes inside fallback raw-content elements without escaping matching ancestor closing tags. ProcessingInstruction data escaped greater-than characters but left less-than characters untouched and did not inspect fallback ancestors, so data such as a matching closing tag prematurely terminates noscript, iframe, noembed, or noframes containers. The vulnerable nodes cannot be authored through standard Angular templates; reachability requires application or library code using inject(DOCUMENT).createProcessingInstruction with attacker-controlled data or Renderer2 DOM insertion inside a fallback container. In HTML5 RAWTEXT parsing, the premature close causes subsequent sibling elements to be interpreted as live HTML and enables arbitrary JavaScript execution in a victim's browser. This issue is fixed in versions 20.3.30, 21.2.22, and 22.1.4. |
| Tesseract is an open source OCR engine. In version 5.5.3 and earlier, Classify::ReadIntTemplates in src/classify/intproto.cpp reads NumClassPruners, NumClasses, and NumProtoSets from the TESSDATA_INTTEMP component of a crafted .traineddata file and uses those values as loop bounds without validating them against MAX_NUM_CLASS_PRUNERS, MAX_NUM_CLASSES, and MAX_NUM_PROTO_SETS. The loops store heap pointers into fixed-capacity ClassPruners and ProtoSets arrays in INT_TEMPLATES_STRUCT and INT_CLASS_STRUCT, so an oversized count causes heap out-of-bounds pointer writes during legacy-classifier initialization before OCR begins, resulting in heap corruption, a crash, or potentially controlled corruption. No fixed release is available as of this review. |
