| Plenti, a static site generator, has an arbitrary file write vulnerability in versions prior to 0.7.2. The `/postLocal` endpoint is vulnerable to an arbitrary file write vulnerability when a plenti user serves their website. This issue may lead to Remote Code Execution. Version 0.7.2 fixes the vulnerability. |
| A correctness issue in the JIT was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in tvOS 16.1, iOS 15.7.1 and iPadOS 15.7.1, macOS Ventura 13, watchOS 9.1, Safari 16.1, iOS 16.1 and iPadOS 16. Processing maliciously crafted web content may disclose internal states of the app. |
| The issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in tvOS 16.1, iOS 15.7.1 and iPadOS 15.7.1, macOS Ventura 13, watchOS 9.1, iOS 16.1 and iPadOS 16, macOS Monterey 12.6.1, macOS Big Sur 11.7.1. Parsing a maliciously crafted audio file may lead to disclosure of user information. |
| An issue was discovered in Insyde InsydeH2O with kernel 5.0 through 5.5. DMA attacks on the SdHostDriver buffer used by SMM and non-SMM code could cause TOCTOU race-condition issues that could lead to corruption of SMRAM and escalation of privileges. This attack can be mitigated by using IOMMU protection for the ACPI runtime memory used for the command buffer. This attack can be mitigated by copying the link data to SMRAM before checking it and verifying that all pointers are within the buffer. |
| xmlparse.c in Expat (aka libexpat) before 2.4.5 allows attackers to insert namespace-separator characters into namespace URIs. |
| xmltok_impl.c in Expat (aka libexpat) before 2.4.5 lacks certain validation of encoding, such as checks for whether a UTF-8 character is valid in a certain context. |
| Products.ATContentTypes are the core content types for Plone 2.1 - 4.3. Versions of Plone that are dependent on Products.ATContentTypes prior to version 3.0.6 are vulnerable to reflected cross site scripting and open redirect when an attacker can get a compromised version of the image_view_fullscreen page in a cache, for example in Varnish. The technique is known as cache poisoning. Any later visitor can get redirected when clicking on a link on this page. Usually only anonymous users are affected, but this depends on the user's cache settings. Version 3.0.6 of Products.ATContentTypes has been released with a fix. This version works on Plone 5.2, Python 2 only. As a workaround, make sure the image_view_fullscreen page is not stored in the cache. More information about the vulnerability and cvmitigation measures is available in the GitHub Security Advisory. |
| Issue summary: Checking excessively long DH keys or parameters may be very slow.
Impact summary: Applications that use the functions DH_check(), DH_check_ex()
or EVP_PKEY_param_check() to check a DH key or DH parameters may experience long
delays. Where the key or parameters that are being checked have been obtained
from an untrusted source this may lead to a Denial of Service.
The function DH_check() performs various checks on DH parameters. After fixing
CVE-2023-3446 it was discovered that a large q parameter value can also trigger
an overly long computation during some of these checks. A correct q value,
if present, cannot be larger than the modulus p parameter, thus it is
unnecessary to perform these checks if q is larger than p.
An application that calls DH_check() and supplies a key or parameters obtained
from an untrusted source could be vulnerable to a Denial of Service attack.
The function DH_check() is itself called by a number of other OpenSSL functions.
An application calling any of those other functions may similarly be affected.
The other functions affected by this are DH_check_ex() and
EVP_PKEY_param_check().
Also vulnerable are the OpenSSL dhparam and pkeyparam command line applications
when using the "-check" option.
The OpenSSL SSL/TLS implementation is not affected by this issue.
The OpenSSL 3.0 and 3.1 FIPS providers are not affected by this issue. |
| The WP-EMail WordPress plugin before 2.69.1 does not sanitise and escape some of its settings, which could allow high privilege users such as admin to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks even when the unfiltered_html capability is disallowed (for example in multisite setup) |
| The issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in iOS 16.6 and iPadOS 16.6, tvOS 16.6, macOS Ventura 13.5, Safari 16.6, watchOS 9.6. Processing web content may lead to arbitrary code execution. |
| The issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in tvOS 17, Safari 17, watchOS 10, iOS 17 and iPadOS 17, macOS Sonoma 14. Processing web content may lead to arbitrary code execution. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
bpf: Reject struct_ops registration that uses module ptr and the module btf_id is missing
There is a UAF report in the bpf_struct_ops when CONFIG_MODULES=n.
In particular, the report is on tcp_congestion_ops that has
a "struct module *owner" member.
For struct_ops that has a "struct module *owner" member,
it can be extended either by the regular kernel module or
by the bpf_struct_ops. bpf_try_module_get() will be used
to do the refcounting and different refcount is done
based on the owner pointer. When CONFIG_MODULES=n,
the btf_id of the "struct module" is missing:
WARN: resolve_btfids: unresolved symbol module
Thus, the bpf_try_module_get() cannot do the correct refcounting.
Not all subsystem's struct_ops requires the "struct module *owner" member.
e.g. the recent sched_ext_ops.
This patch is to disable bpf_struct_ops registration if
the struct_ops has the "struct module *" member and the
"struct module" btf_id is missing. The btf_type_is_fwd() helper
is moved to the btf.h header file for this test.
This has happened since the beginning of bpf_struct_ops which has gone
through many changes. The Fixes tag is set to a recent commit that this
patch can apply cleanly. Considering CONFIG_MODULES=n is not
common and the age of the issue, targeting for bpf-next also. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ublk: detach gendisk from ublk device if add_disk() fails
Inside ublk_abort_requests(), gendisk is grabbed for aborting all
inflight requests. And ublk_abort_requests() is called when exiting
the uring context or handling timeout.
If add_disk() fails, the gendisk may have been freed when calling
ublk_abort_requests(), so use-after-free can be caused when getting
disk's reference in ublk_abort_requests().
Fixes the bug by detaching gendisk from ublk device if add_disk() fails. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
RDMA/bnxt_re: Avoid CPU lockups due fifo occupancy check loop
Driver waits indefinitely for the fifo occupancy to go below a threshold
as soon as the pacing interrupt is received. This can cause soft lockup on
one of the processors, if the rate of DB is very high.
Add a loop count for FPGA and exit the __wait_for_fifo_occupancy_below_th
if the loop is taking more time. Pacing will be continuing until the
occupancy is below the threshold. This is ensured by the checks in
bnxt_re_pacing_timer_exp and further scheduling the work for pacing based
on the fifo occupancy. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amd/display: update DML2 policy EnhancedPrefetchScheduleAccelerationFinal DCN35
[WHY & HOW]
Mismatch in DCN35 DML2 cause bw validation failed to acquire unexpected DPP pipe to cause
grey screen and system hang. Remove EnhancedPrefetchScheduleAccelerationFinal value override
to match HW spec.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tcp: Fix Use-After-Free in tcp_ao_connect_init
Since call_rcu, which is called in the hlist_for_each_entry_rcu traversal
of tcp_ao_connect_init, is not part of the RCU read critical section, it
is possible that the RCU grace period will pass during the traversal and
the key will be free.
To prevent this, it should be changed to hlist_for_each_entry_safe. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
NFSD: Fix potential use-after-free in nfsd_file_put()
nfsd_file_put_noref() can free @nf, so don't dereference @nf
immediately upon return from nfsd_file_put_noref(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nbd: fix uaf in nbd_open
Commit 4af5f2e03013 ("nbd: use blk_mq_alloc_disk and
blk_cleanup_disk") cleans up disk by blk_cleanup_disk() and it won't set
disk->private_data as NULL as before. UAF may be triggered in nbd_open()
if someone tries to open nbd device right after nbd_put() since nbd has
been free in nbd_dev_remove().
Fix this by implementing ->free_disk and free private data in it. |
