CVSS v3.1 |
| Issue summary: A timing side-channel which could potentially allow recovering
the private key exists in the ECDSA signature computation.
Impact summary: A timing side-channel in ECDSA signature computations
could allow recovering the private key by an attacker. However, measuring
the timing would require either local access to the signing application or
a very fast network connection with low latency.
There is a timing signal of around 300 nanoseconds when the top word of
the inverted ECDSA nonce value is zero. This can happen with significant
probability only for some of the supported elliptic curves. In particular
the NIST P-521 curve is affected. To be able to measure this leak, the attacker
process must either be located in the same physical computer or must
have a very fast network connection with low latency. For that reason
the severity of this vulnerability is Low.
The FIPS modules in 3.4, 3.3, 3.2, 3.1 and 3.0 are affected by this issue. |
| The CozyStay and TinySalt plugins for WordPress are vulnerable to PHP Object Injection in all versions up to, and including, 1.7.0, and in all versions up to, and including 3.9.0, respectively, via deserialization of untrusted input in the 'ajax_handler' function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject a PHP Object. No known POP chain is present in the vulnerable software, which means this vulnerability has no impact unless another plugin or theme containing a POP chain is installed on the site. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it may allow the attacker to perform actions like delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code depending on the POP chain present. |
| The CozyStay theme for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the ajax_handler function in all versions up to, and including, 1.7.0. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary actions. |
| The Service Finder Bookings plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to privilege escalation via account takeover in all versions up to, and including, 5.0. This is due to the plugin not properly validating a user's identity prior to (1) performing a post-booking auto-login or (2) updating their profile details (e.g. password). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to (1) login as an arbitrary user if their email address is known or (2) change an arbitrary user's password, including administrators, and leverage that to gain access to their account. |
| A vulnerability has been found in obsproject OBS Studio up to 30.0.2 on Windows and classified as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown functionality. The manipulation leads to untrusted search path. The attack needs to be approached locally. The complexity of an attack is rather high. The exploitation appears to be difficult. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. The vendor disagrees that this issue is "something worth reporting, as every attack surface requires privileged access/user compromise". |
| The All-Images.ai – IA Image Bank and Custom Image creation plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file uploads due to missing file type validation in the '_get_image_by_url' function in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.4. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to upload arbitrary files on the affected site's server which may make remote code execution possible. |
| The MinimogWP – The High Converting eCommerce WordPress Theme theme for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 3.7.0 via the 'template' parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to include and execute arbitrary files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where images and other “safe” file types can be uploaded and included. |
| The FoodBakery | Delivery Restaurant Directory WordPress Theme theme for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 4.7. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the foodbakery_var_backup_file_delete, foodbakery_widget_file_delete, theme_option_save, export_widget_settings, ajax_import_widget_data, foodbakery_var_settings_backup_generate, foodbakery_var_backup_file_restore, and theme_option_rest_all functions. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary files, update theme options, export widget options, import widget options, generate backups, restore backups, and reset theme options via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. |
| The Ninja Forms Webhooks plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 3.0.7 via the form webhook functionality. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to make web requests to arbitrary locations originating from the web application and can be used to query and modify information from internal services. |
| Versions of the package cross-spawn before 6.0.6, from 7.0.0 and before 7.0.5 are vulnerable to Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) due to improper input sanitization. An attacker can increase the CPU usage and crash the program by crafting a very large and well crafted string. |
| An authorization bypass vulnerability exists in the Mavenir SCE Application Provisioning Portal, version PORTAL-LBS-R_1_0_24_0, which allows an authenticated 'guest' user to perform unauthorized administrative actions, such as accessing the 'add user' feature, by bypassing client-side access controls. |
| A directory traversal vulnerability exists in the Mavenir SCE Application Provisioning Portal, version PORTAL-LBS-R_1_0_24_0, which allows an administrative user to access system files with the file permissions of the privileged system user running the application. |
| Northern.tech Mender before 3.6.6 and 3.7.x before 3.7.7 allows SSRF. |
| The WPS Office (aka cn.wps.moffice_eng) application before 17.0.0 for Android fails to properly sanitize file names before processing them through external application interactions, leading to a form of path traversal. This potentially enables any application to dispatch a crafted library file, aiming to overwrite an existing native library utilized by WPS Office. Successful exploitation could result in the execution of arbitrary commands under the guise of WPS Office's application ID. |
| Improper input validation in the firmware for some Intel(R) AMT and Intel(R) Standard Manageability may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable denial of service via network access. |
| Electron is an open source framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. In versions prior to 28.3.2, 29.3.3, and 30.0.3, the nativeImage.createFromPath() and nativeImage.createFromBuffer() functions call a function downstream that is vulnerable to a heap buffer overflow. An Electron program that uses either of the affected functions is vulnerable to a buffer overflow if an attacker is in control of the image's height, width, and contents. This issue has been patched in versions 28.3.2, 29.3.3, and 30.0.3. There are no workarounds for this issue. |
| Northern.tech Hosted Mender before 2024.07.11 allows SSRF. |
| sunniwell HT3300 before 1.0.0.B022.2 is vulnerable to Insecure Permissions. The /usr/local/bin/update program, which is responsible for updating the software in the HT3300 device, is given the execution mode of sudo NOPASSWD. This program is vulnerable to a command injection vulnerability, which could allow an attacker to pass commands to this program via command line arguments to gain elevated root privileges. |
| An unauthenticated attacker with access to the local network of the
medical office can query an unprotected Fast Healthcare Interoperability
Resources (FHIR) API to get access to sensitive electronic health
records (EHR). |
| An unauthenticated attacker with access to the local network of the
medical office can use known default credentials to gain remote DBA
access to the Elefant Firebird database. The data in the database
includes patient data and login credentials among other sensitive data.
In addition, this enables an attacker to create and overwrite arbitrary
files on the server filesystem with the rights of the Firebird database
("NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM"). |
