CVSS v3.1 |
| python-socketio is a Python implementation of the Socket.IO realtime client and server. A remote code execution vulnerability in python-socketio versions prior to 5.14.0 allows attackers to execute arbitrary Python code through malicious pickle deserialization in multi-server deployments on which the attacker previously gained access to the message queue that the servers use for internal communications. When Socket.IO servers are configured to use a message queue backend such as Redis for inter-server communication, messages sent between the servers are encoded using the `pickle` Python module. When a server receives one of these messages through the message queue, it assumes it is trusted and immediately deserializes it. The vulnerability stems from deserialization of messages using Python's `pickle.loads()` function. Having previously obtained access to the message queue, the attacker can send a python-socketio server a crafted pickle payload that executes arbitrary code during deserialization via Python's `__reduce__` method. This vulnerability only affects deployments with a compromised message queue. The attack can lead to the attacker executing random code in the context of, and with the privileges of a Socket.IO server process. Single-server systems that do not use a message queue, and multi-server systems with a secure message queue are not vulnerable. In addition to making sure standard security practices are followed in the deployment of the message queue, users of the python-socketio package can upgrade to version 5.14.0 or newer, which remove the `pickle` module and use the much safer JSON encoding for inter-server messaging. |
| The WordPress form builder plugin for contact forms, surveys and quizzes – Tripetto plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 8.0.8 via the 'attachments.php' file. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract sensitive data including files uploaded via forms. |
| A vulnerability has been found in Whistle 2.9.98 and classified as problematic. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the file /cgi-bin/sessions/get-temp-file. The manipulation of the argument filename leads to path traversal. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| An improper resource shutdown or release vulnerability has been identified in the Click Plus C2-03CPU-2 device running firmware version 3.60. The vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to perform a denial-of-service attack by exhausting all available device sessions of the Click Programming Software. |
| The tagDiv Composer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to PHP Object Instantiation in all versions up to, and including, 5.3 via module parameter. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to Instantiate a PHP Object. No known POP chain is present in the vulnerable software, which means this vulnerability has no impact unless another plugin or theme containing a POP chain is installed on the site. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it may allow the attacker to perform actions like delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code depending on the POP chain present. |
| Kata Containers is an open source project focusing on a standard implementation of lightweight Virtual Machines (VMs) that perform like containers. In Kata Containers versions from 3.20.0 and before, a malicious host can circumvent initdata verification. On TDX systems running confidential guests, a malicious host can selectively fail IO operations to skip initdata verification. This allows an attacker to launch arbitrary workloads while being able to attest successfully to Trustee impersonating any benign workload. This issue has been patched in Kata Containers version 3.21.0. |

af_unix: Fix data races around sk->sk_shutdown.
KCSAN found a data race around sk->sk_shutdown where unix_release_sock()
and unix_shutdown() update it under unix_state_lock(), OTOH unix_poll()
and unix_dgram_poll() read it locklessly.
We need to annotate the writes and reads with WRITE_ONCE() and READ_ONCE().

| An OS command injection vulnerability within the update functionality may allow an authenticated administrator to execute unauthorized arbitrary OS commands.
Users with administrative privileges may upload update packages to upgrade the versions of Nozomi Networks Guardian and CMC.
While these updates are signed and their signatures are validated prior to installation, an improper signature validation check has been identified.
This issue could potentially enable users to execute commands remotely on the appliance, thereby impacting confidentiality, integrity, and availability. |
| A vulnerability in the gradio-app/gradio repository, version git 67e4044, allows for path traversal on Windows OS. The implementation of the blocked_path functionality, which is intended to disallow users from reading certain files, is flawed. Specifically, while the application correctly blocks access to paths like 'C:/tmp/secret.txt', it fails to block access when using NTFS Alternate Data Streams (ADS) syntax, such as 'C:/tmp/secret.txt::$DATA'. This flaw can lead to unauthorized reading of blocked file paths. |
| A Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) vulnerability exists in feast-dev/feast version 0.40.0. The CORS configuration on the agentscope server does not properly restrict access to only trusted origins, allowing any external domain to make requests to the API. This can bypass intended security controls and potentially expose sensitive information. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: ipa: only reset hashed tables when supported
Last year, the code that manages GSI channel transactions switched
from using spinlock-protected linked lists to using indexes into the
ring buffer used for a channel. Recently, Google reported seeing
transaction reference count underflows occasionally during shutdown.
Doug Anderson found a way to reproduce the issue reliably, and
bisected the issue to the commit that eliminated the linked lists
and the lock. The root cause was ultimately determined to be
related to unused transactions being committed as part of the modem
shutdown cleanup activity. Unused transactions are not normally
expected (except in error cases).
The modem uses some ranges of IPA-resident memory, and whenever it
shuts down we zero those ranges. In ipa_filter_reset_table() a
transaction is allocated to zero modem filter table entries. If
hashing is not supported, hashed table memory should not be zeroed.
But currently nothing prevents that, and the result is an unused
transaction. Something similar occurs when we zero routing table
entries for the modem.
By preventing any attempt to clear hashed tables when hashing is not
supported, the reference count underflow is avoided in this case.
Note that there likely remains an issue with properly freeing unused
transactions (if they occur due to errors). This patch addresses
only the underflows that Google originally reported. |
| A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in thu-pacman chitu 0.1.0. This affects the function torch.load of the file chitu/chitu/backend.py. The manipulation of the argument ckpt_path/quant_ckpt_dir leads to deserialization. An attack has to be approached locally. |
| An authenticated command injection vulnerability exists in the Polycom HDX Series command shell interface accessible over Telnet. The lan traceroute command in the devcmds console accepts unsanitized input, allowing attackers to execute arbitrary system commands. By injecting shell metacharacters through the traceroute interface, an attacker can achieve remote code execution under the context of the root user. This flaw affects systems where Telnet access is enabled and either unauthenticated access is allowed or credentials are known. |
| A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in Easy File Sharing HTTP Server version 7.2. The flaw is triggered when a crafted POST request is sent to the /sendemail.ghp endpoint containing an overly long Email parameter. The application fails to properly validate the length of this field, resulting in a memory corruption condition. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the server process. |
| An unauthenticated command injection vulnerability exists in VICIdial versions 2.9 RC1 through 2.13 RC1, within the vicidial_sales_viewer.php component when password encryption is enabled (a non-default configuration). The application improperly passes the HTTP Basic Authentication password directly to a call to exec() without adequate sanitation. This allows remote attackers to inject and execute arbitrary operating system commands as the web server user. NOTE: This vulnerability was mitigated in 2017. |
| An XML External Entity (XXE) injection vulnerability exists in ETQ Reliance on the CG (legacy) platform within the `/resources/sessions/sso` endpoint. The SAML authentication handler processes XML input without disabling external entity resolution, allowing crafted SAML responses to invoke external entity references. This could enable attackers to retrieve sensitive files or perform server-side request forgery (SSRF). The issue was addressed by disabling external entity processing for the affected XML parser in versions SE.2025.1 and 2025.1.2. |

| Improper Validation of Specified Index, Position, or Offset in Input vulnerability in Mitsubishi Electric Corporation MELSEC iQ-F Series CPU modules allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to read information in the product, to cause a Denial-of-Service (DoS) condition in MELSOFT connection, or to stop the operation of the CPU module (causing a DoS condtion on the CPU module), by sending specially crafted packets. The product is needed to reset for recovery. |
