CVSS v3.1 |
| A vulnerability was found in Part-DB up to 1.17.0. It has been declared as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is the function handleUpload of the file src/Services/Attachments/AttachmentSubmitHandler.php of the component Profile Picture Feature. The manipulation of the argument attachment leads to cross site scripting. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. Upgrading to version 1.17.1 is able to address this issue. The identifier of the patch is 2c4f44e808500db19c391159b30cb6142896d415. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. |
| A Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) in JGM Pandoc v3.6.4 allows attackers to gain access to and compromise the whole infrastructure via injecting a crafted iframe. Note: Some users have stated that Pandoc by default can retrieve and parse untrusted HTML content which can enable SSRF vulnerabilities. Using the ‘--sandbox’ option or ‘pandoc-server’ can mitigate such vulnerabilities. Using pandoc with an external ‘--pdf-engine’ can also enable SSRF vulnerabilities, such as CVE-2022-35583 in wkhtmltopdf. |
| Open OnDemand is an open-source HPC portal. Users can flood logs by interacting with the shell app and generating many errors. Users who flood logs can create very large log files causing a Denial of Service (DoS) to the ondemand system. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.1.14 and 4.0.6. |
| Build Smart ERP 21.0817 contains an unauthenticated SQL injection vulnerability in the 'eidValue' parameter of the login validation endpoint. Attackers can inject stacked SQL queries using payloads like ';WAITFOR DELAY '0:0:3'-- to manipulate database queries and potentially extract or modify database information. |
| Out-of-bounds write in Intel(R) Media SDK all versions and some Intel(R) oneVPL software before version 23.3.5 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. |

| matrix-rust-sdk is an implementation of a Matrix client-server library in Rust. matrix-sdk-crypto since version 0.8.0 and up to 0.11.0 does not correctly validate the sender of an encrypted event. Accordingly, a malicious homeserver operator can modify events served to clients, making those events appear to the recipient as if they were sent by another user. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.11.1 and 0.12.0. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
media: tuners: qt1010: replace BUG_ON with a regular error
BUG_ON is unnecessary here, and in addition it confuses smatch.
Replacing this with an error return help resolve this smatch

The issue only happends in the inmate linux when Jailhouse hypervisor
enabled. The test procedure is:
while true; do
jailhouse enable imx8mp.cell
jailhouse cell linux xxxx
sleep 10
jailhouse cell destroy 1
jailhouse disable
sleep 5
done
And during the upper test, press keys to the 2nd linux console.
When `jailhouse cell destroy 1`, the 2nd linux has no chance to put
the uart to a quiese state, so USR1/2 may has pending interrupts. Then
when `jailhosue cell linux xx` to start 2nd linux again, the issue
trigger.
In order to disable irqs before requesting them, both UCR1 and UCR2 irqs
should be disabled, so here fix that, disable the Ageing Timer interrupt
in UCR2 as UCR1 does. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
scsi: qedf: Fix NULL dereference in error handling
Smatch reported:
drivers/scsi/qedf/qedf_main.c:3056 qedf_alloc_global_queues()
warn: missing unwind goto?
At this point in the function, nothing has been allocated so we can return
directly. In particular the "qedf->global_queues" have not been allocated
so calling qedf_free_global_queues() will lead to a NULL dereference when
we check if (!gl[i]) and "gl" is NULL. |
| Authentication Bypass
vulnerability in Hitachi Ops Center Analyzer on Linux, 64 bit (Hitachi Ops Center Analyzer detail view component), Hitachi Infrastructure Analytics Advisor on Linux, 64 bit (Hitachi Data Center Analytics
component
).This issue affects Hitachi Ops Center Analyzer: from 10.0.0-00 before 11.0.3-00; Hitachi Infrastructure Analytics Advisor: from 2.1.0-00 through 4.4.0-00. |
| The vulnerability, if exploited, could allow an authenticated miscreant
(with privileges to create or access publication targets of type Text
File or HDFS) to upload and persist files that could potentially be
executed. |
| Default credentials are used in the above listed BD Diagnostic Solutions products. If exploited, threat actors may be able to access, modify or delete data, including sensitive information such as protected health information (PHI) and personally identifiable information (PII). Exploitation of this vulnerability may allow an attacker to shut down or otherwise impact the availability of the system. Note: BD Synapsys™ Informatics
Solution is only in scope of
this vulnerability when
installed on a NUC server. BD Synapsys™
Informatics Solution installed
on a customer-provided virtual machine or on the BD Kiestra™ SCU hardware is
not in scope. |
| An out-of-bounds write flaw was found in mpg123 when handling crafted streams. When decoding PCM, the libmpg123 may write past the end of a heap-located buffer. Consequently, heap corruption may happen, and arbitrary code execution is not discarded. The complexity required to exploit this flaw is considered high as the payload must be validated by the MPEG decoder and the PCM synth before execution. Additionally, to successfully execute the attack, the user must scan through the stream, making web live stream content (such as web radios) a very unlikely attack vector. |
| Short Description is a MediaWiki extension that provides local short description support. In version 4.0.0, short descriptions are not properly sanitized before being inserted as HTML using mw.util.addSubtitle, allowing any user to insert arbitrary HTML into the DOM by editing a page. This issue has been patched in version 4.0.1. |
| The Memberful plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.73.9 via the WordPress core search feature. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract sensitive data from posts that have been restricted to higher-level roles such as site members. |
| The Learning Management System, eLearning, Course Builder, WordPress LMS Plugin – Sikshya LMS plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting via the ‘page’ parameter in all versions up to, and including, 0.0.21 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that execute if they can successfully trick a user into performing an action such as clicking on a link. |
| The Stop Registration Spam plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 1.23. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious web scripts via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link. CVE-2024-56017 is likely a duplicate of this issue. |
| Quiet is an alternative to team chat apps like Slack, Discord, and Element that does not require trusting a central server or running one's own. In versions 6.1.0-alpha.4 and below, Quiet's API for backend/frontend communication was using an insecure, not constant-time comparison function for token verification. This allowed for a potential timing attack where an attacker would try different token values and observe tiny differences in the response time (wrong characters fail faster) to guess the whole token one character at a time. This is fixed in version 6.0.1. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ring-buffer: Do not warn in ring_buffer_map_get_reader() when reader catches up
The function ring_buffer_map_get_reader() is a bit more strict than the
other get reader functions, and except for certain situations the
rb_get_reader_page() should not return NULL. If it does, it triggers a
warning.
This warning was triggering but after looking at why, it was because
another acceptable situation was happening and it wasn't checked for.
If the reader catches up to the writer and there's still data to be read
on the reader page, then the rb_get_reader_page() will return NULL as
there's no new page to get.
In this situation, the reader page should not be updated and no warning
should trigger. |
