text explains which aspects/vulnerabilities correspond to which CVE.]
To create and manage guests, domctl operations are used by the control
domain, a possible Xenstore domain, or by a domain controlling a
particular guest. Some of these operations may not be executed in
parallel, so a system-wide lock is used. The way that lock is acquired
is, however, not providing any fairness. This is CVE-2026-42489.
Furthermore, with XSM/Flask in use, the lock acquire will, for some
operations, occur ahead of any permission checking. This is
CVE-2026-42490. |
| OpenStack Horizon before 25.7.4 produces scripts for OpenStack RC file downloading that may have a crafted project name with shell metacharacters. NOTE: some parties consider this a security hardening opportunity to address certain types of user error, not a vulnerability. |
| Some shadow paging errors paths will switch the page-tables without
updating the currently running vCPU reference. This causes a mismatch
between the loaded page-tables and the mapcache metadata which can lead
to corruption of the mapcache. |
| Vulnerability in the PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools product of Oracle PeopleSoft (component: Deployment Package). Supported versions that are affected are 8.61 and 8.62. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools accessible data as well as unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools accessible data. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 8.2 (Confidentiality and Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:L/A:N). |
| Impact:
When using Socks5ProxyAgent, undici reuses a single connection pool across different origins without verifying that the pool's origin matches the requested origin. All requests are dispatched through the pool connected to the first origin, regardless of the intended destination.
This causes cross-origin request routing: credentials and request data intended for origin B are sent to origin A, responses from the wrong origin are trusted, and HTTPS requests may be silently downgraded to HTTP.
Impacted users are applications that use Socks5ProxyAgent (directly or via setGlobalDispatcher) and make requests to more than one origin.
This was introduced in undici 7.23.0 via PR #4385 and affects all versions through 8.1.0.
Patches:
Upgrade to undici v7.26.0 or v8.2.0.
Workarounds:
Use a separate Socks5ProxyAgent instance per origin, or avoid using Socks5ProxyAgent with multiple origins. |
| HVM guest I/O port accesses are subject to either emulation or at least
translation. Translations are managed by the device model (via
XEN_DOMCTL_ioport_mapping), and hence the linked list used may changed
at any time. Traversal of those lists (while handling guest I/O port
accesses) therefore needs synchronizing with updates, which was missing
so far. |
| Starlette is a lightweight ASGI framework/toolkit. In versions 1.0.1 and below, when dispatching a request, HTTPEndpoint selects the handler by lowercasing the HTTP method and looking it up as an attribute with getattr, without restricting the lookup to a known set of HTTP verbs. When an HTTPEndpoint subclass is registered through Route(...) without an explicit methods= argument, the route does not constrain the method and every method reaches the endpoint. If a non-standard HTTP method whose lowercased name matches an attribute on the endpoint subclass reaches the endpoint, that attribute is invoked as if it were a request handler. An attacker can use this to reach methods that were never meant to be HTTP handlers, such as internal helpers, without the authorization checks applied by the intended public handler. An application (including Starlette-based frameworks like FastAPI) is affected if it registers an HTTPEndpoint subclass via Route(...) without explicitly setting methods=, and that subclass includes extra methods named like non-standard HTTP verbs that take one request argument and return a response. This issue has been fixed in version 1.1.0. |
| Impact:
The undici WebSocket client enforces maxPayloadSize on the cumulative byte count of fragments in a message but does not enforce a limit on the number of fragments. A malicious WebSocket server can stream many small or empty continuation frames that each pass per-frame and cumulative-size validation, collectively causing unbounded memory growth in the client process. The result is memory exhaustion and a denial of service.
Affected applications are those using the undici WebSocket client (new WebSocket(...)) or the WebSocketStream API that can be induced to connect to an attacker-controlled or compromised WebSocket endpoint.
All releases starting at undici 6.17.0 are affected.
Patches: Upgrade to undici >= 6.26.0, >= 7.28.0, or >= 8.5.0. Workarounds:
No workaround is available. The fix must be applied through an upgrade. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tls: make sure to abort the stream if headers are bogus
Normally we wait for the socket to buffer up the whole record
before we service it. If the socket has a tiny buffer, however,
we read out the data sooner, to prevent connection stalls.
Make sure that we abort the connection when we find out late
that the record is actually invalid. Retrying the parsing is
fine in itself but since we copy some more data each time
before we parse we can overflow the allocated skb space.
Constructing a scenario in which we're under pressure without
enough data in the socket to parse the length upfront is quite
hard. syzbot figured out a way to do this by serving us the header
in small OOB sends, and then filling in the recvbuf with a large
normal send.
Make sure that tls_rx_msg_size() aborts strp, if we reach
an invalid record there's really no way to recover. |
| Exim before 4.99.3, in certain GnuTLS configurations, has a remotely reachable use-after-free in the BDAT body parsing path. It is triggered when a client sends a TLS close_notify mid-body during a CHUNKING transfer, followed by a final cleartext byte on the same TCP connection. This can lead to heap corruption. An unauthenticated network attacker exploiting this vulnerability could execute arbitrary code. |
| In Eclipse GlassFish versions before 8.0.3 it is possible to perform Login Brute Force attacks as there is no limitation in the number of failed login attempts. GlassFish 8.0.3 adds automatic attack protection documented in https://glassfish.org/docs/latest/security-guide.html#brute-force-attack-protection . |
| mod_sql in ProFTPD before 1.3.9a allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a username, in scenarios where there is logging of USER requests with an expansion such as %U, and the SQL backend allows commands (e.g., COPY TO PROGRAM). |
| A logging issue was addressed with improved data redaction. This issue is fixed in iOS 18.7.3 and iPadOS 18.7.3, iOS 26.2 and iPadOS 26.2, macOS Sonoma 14.8.3, macOS Tahoe 26.2, visionOS 26.2, watchOS 26.2. An app may be able to access sensitive user data. |
| Insufficient policy enforcement in WebView tag in Google Chrome prior to 143.0.7499.192 allowed an attacker who convinced a user to install a malicious extension to inject scripts or HTML into a privileged page via a crafted Chrome Extension. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| telnetd in GNU inetutils through 2.7 allows an out-of-bounds write in the LINEMODE SLC (Set Local Characters) suboption handler because add_slc does not check whether the buffer is full. |
| Memory Allocation with Excessive Size Value vulnerability in Apache HTTP Server's mod_http leads to denial of service via malicious HTTP requests.
This issue affects Apache HTTP Server: from 2.4.17 through 2.4.67. |
| The issue was addressed with improved memory handling. This issue is fixed in AirPlay audio SDK 2.7.1 and AirPlay video SDK 3.6.0.126. An attacker on the local network may cause an unexpected app termination. |
| The issue was addressed with improved bounds checks. This issue is fixed in iOS 18.7.3 and iPadOS 18.7.3, iOS 26.2 and iPadOS 26.2, macOS Sequoia 15.7.3, macOS Sonoma 14.8.3, macOS Tahoe 26.2, tvOS 26.2, visionOS 26.2, watchOS 26.2. Processing a file may lead to memory corruption. |
