CVE-2026-82439 2026-09-14 9.8 Critical
Description The DRPC server kept a map from function name to request queue and created an entry the first time a function name was seen. No code path ever removed an entry: request cleanup removed the request from its queue, and the shutdown path drained queues, but the queue object and its map entry remained for the life of the process. Function names come from the client and are not constrained to functions any topology has registered, so the number of retained entries is bounded only by the number of distinct names an attacker chooses to send, and each retained entry holds the name itself. `drpc.authorizer` is unset by default, so no credentials are required to reach the endpoint. The retained state is permanent rather than a transient load spike, so the effect accumulates until the DRPC server exhausts its heap. Mitigation Upgrade to 3.1.0, where a function's queue is removed once nothing is waiting in it. Users who cannot upgrade immediately should configure `drpc.authorizer` so that only trusted principals can reach the DRPC endpoints, and should ensure the DRPC ports are not reachable from untrusted networks. CVE-2026-48496 1 Opentelemetry 1 Opentelemetry-ebpf-profiler 2026-09-14 6.2 Medium
OpenTelemetry eBPF Profiler is a production-scale agent for profiling applications across multiple programming languages. Starting in version 0.0.202527 and prior to version 0.0.202622, an unprivileged process can cause the profiler to open a nonregular mapping file, such as a FIFO, and block indefinitely, preventing further ELF analysis and causing a denial of service. Version 0.0.202622 contains a patch. No known workarounds are available.
CVE-2026-88012 1 Traefik 1 Traefik 2026-09-14 5.3 Medium
Traefik is an open source HTTP reverse proxy and load balancer. From 2.8.2 until 2.11.56 and 3.7.12, HTTP/3 entrypoints do not apply entryPoints..transport.respondingTimeouts.readTimeout because the timeout is enforced on a TCP connection and the HTTP/3 server has no corresponding QUIC stream deadline. An unauthenticated client can use a slow request body, trickling data indefinitely while holding a request and an upstream connection open and exhausting backends with bounded connection pools. This issue is fixed in 2.11.56 and 3.7.12.
CVE-2026-90554 2 Vllm, Vllm-project 2 Vllm, Vllm 2026-09-14 6.2 Medium
vLLM versions >=0.10.2 and <0.28.0 do not apply any audio decode-size or duration limit when extracting audio from video input for NanoNemotronVL models. In nano_nemotron_vl.py, _extract_audio_from_videos calls load_audio_pyav(BytesIO(video_bytes)) without the max_duration_s or max_decode_bytes parameters, so neither VLLM_MAX_AUDIO_DECODE_DURATION_S nor VLLM_MAX_AUDIO_DECODE_BYTES is enforced (unlike the direct audio upload path in AudioMediaIO). When a NanoNemotronVL model is served with use_audio_in_video=True, an attacker who supplies a small, highly compressed video as multimodal input can force the server to allocate gigabytes of memory during audio decoding, resulting in a denial of service. Fixed in vLLM 0.28.0.
CVE-2026-54135 1 Simulpiscator 1 Airsane 2026-09-14 7.5 High
AirSane is a SANE frontend, and a scanner server that supports Apple's AirScan protocol. Versions prior to 0.4.12 have a vulnerability in the custom HTTP server implementation of AirSane that allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via memory exhaustion (OOM). In httpserver.cpp, the HttpServer::Request::content function reads the Content-Length header and directly passes this value to std::string::resize() without any upper-bound validation or safe parsing. An attacker can send an HTTP POST request with an artificially large Content-Length value. This forces the daemon to attempt allocating gigabytes of memory, resulting in a std::bad_alloc exception and immediately crashing the AirSane process. Additionally, providing non-numeric characters in the Content-Length header leads to undefined behavior (NaN to integer conversion) due to the lack of error handling during header parsing. Version 0.4.12 patches the issue.
CVE-2026-50276 2026-09-14 7.5 High
dd-trace-rb is Datadog's client library for Ruby. Prior to 2.32.0, W3C baggage extraction does not enforce DD_TRACE_BAGGAGE_MAX_ITEMS, which defaults to 64, or DD_TRACE_BAGGAGE_MAX_BYTES, which defaults to 8192, although those limits apply during baggage injection. A remote unauthenticated attacker can send a baggage HTTP header containing many comma-separated key-value pairs or a single very large value. The extraction path allocates entries while parsing the attacker-controlled header on every request, causing unbounded CPU and memory consumption in an HTTP service where the baggage propagation style is enabled, which is the default for most affected tracers. This can cause denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 2.32.0.
CVE-2026-90584 1 Tootallnate 1 Java-websocket 2026-09-14 5.3 Medium
A weakness has been identified in TooTallNate Java-WebSocket up to 1.6.1. The impacted element is the function processFrameContinuousAndNonFin of the file Draft_6455.java of the component Fragmentation Handler. Executing a manipulation can lead to allocation of resources. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. The pull request to fix this issue awaits acceptance.
CVE-2026-90555 1 Vllm 1 Vllm 2026-09-14 6.5 Medium
vLLM versions before 0.28.0 fail to validate audio sample rate headers in the transcription endpoint, allowing authenticated clients to bypass duration checks. Attackers can submit forged FLAC headers with inflated sample rates to trigger excessive memory allocation and crash the API server process affecting all tenants.
CVE-2026-85448 1 Moos-ivp 1 Moos-ivp 2026-09-14 7.5 High
MOOS-IvP uFldShoreBroker through 24.8.1 fails to limit the number of claimed communities stored in parallel vectors within ShoreBroker::handleMailNodePing(). A single publisher can supply unbounded distinct community names to grow retained state and per-pass work without limit, causing memory exhaustion and performance degradation.
CVE-2026-53937 1 Modelcontextprotocol 4 Io.modelcontextprotocol:kotlin-sdk, Io.modelcontextprotocol:kotlin-sdk-client, Io.modelcontextprotocol:kotlin-sdk-core and 1 more 2026-09-14 6.2 Medium
MCP Kotlin SDK is the Kotlin Multiplatform software development kit for the Model Context Protocol. In versions 0.7.0 through 0.12.0, `ReadBuffer.append` in `kotlin-sdk-core/src/commonMain/kotlin/io/modelcontextprotocol/kotlin/sdk/shared/ReadBuffer.kt` writes every chunk of bytes received from the stdio transport into a `kotlinx.io.Buffer` with no size cap. Frames are extracted from that buffer only when a `\n` (0x0a) byte is observed. A peer that streams bytes without ever sending a newline causes the internal buffer to grow indefinitely until the JVM (or the surrounding host process) is OOM-killed. The leak is amplified by `StdioServerTransport` and `StdioClientTransport`, which both queue raw chunks through a `kotlinx.coroutines.channels.Channel<ByteArray>(Channel.UNLIMITED)` and then call `readBuffer.append(chunk)` without backpressure or size guard. This is a remote-pre-auth denial of service whenever an SDK stdio server's stdin is fed by an untrusted or attacker-controlled producer (for example: a host program that exec's the MCP server as a subprocess and pipes through bytes received from a network peer, or a sidecar wrapper that proxies bytes from an HTTP endpoint to the stdio transport). Version 0.13.0 fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-89699 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-14 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: validate symlink target length in NFSv4 CREATE nfsd4_decode_create() accepts an unbounded cr_datalen from the wire for NF4LNK symlink targets, allowing a client to force a kmalloc of up to the maximum RPC payload size (several MiB) per COMPOUND op that persists until compound teardown. The VFS rejects oversized targets with ENAMETOOLONG, but the allocation has already occurred. Reject cr_datalen == 0 early with nfserr_inval and cr_datalen greater than NFS4_MAXPATHLEN (PATH_MAX) with nfserr_nametoolong to bound the allocation.
CVE-2026-89604 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-14 4.7 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: efivarfs: Rate limit statfs() handler Ravi reports that statfs() may be called by unprivileged users on the efivarfs mount point, which may result in a flood of calls to the QueryVariableInfo() runtime service. These calls are disproportionately costly on x86 systems where the variable store is backed by SMM, as each SMM entry requires a rendez-vous of all the CPUs. So rate limit the calls to QueryVariableInfo() at twice per second, and return the most recently obtained value for calls that are elided.
CVE-2026-86452 2 Misp, Misp-project 2 Misp, Misp 2026-09-14 7.5 High
Affected versions of MISP permit unauthenticated or weakly constrained request paths to perform persistent work without adequate input bounds or rate limiting. The users/forgot password-reset endpoint accepted an attacker-controlled email value without first imposing a reasonable length bound or validating its format. That value was then used to create an audit log entry and queue a password-reset job, causing the supplied value to be persisted more than once per request. The commit explicitly states that an unbounded unauthenticated request field was stored twice per call with no throttle. The fix adds:  - a maximum email input length of 1024 bytes;  - email-format validation before persistent work;  - a per-source pre-authentication request budget;  - HTTP 429 responses when that budget is exceeded;  - a 15-minute cooldown for API-access request emails;  - POST-only handling and CSRF protection for the API-access request endpoint. The new flood filter is specifically intended to limit persistent storage costs from anonymous requests such as password resets, registrations, and failed REST authentication attempts. Version affected: ≤2.5.45

A flaw has been found in ramon-victor freegpt-webui up to 098db3dfeb41555c2ca9269df0f13e10ec1c35dc. Affected by this issue is the function getJailbreak of the file server/backend.py of the component Jailbreak Mode. Executing a manipulation can lead to allocation of resources. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used. This product implements a rolling release for ongoing delivery, which means version information for affected or updated releases is unavailable. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer.
CVE-2026-63075 1 Openssl 1 Openssl 2026-09-11 7.5 High
Issue summary: When OpenSSL processes QUIC traffic from a peer that repeatedly sends ack-eliciting packets while not acknowledging ACK-only responses, the QUIC stack can retain ACK-only packet metadata for the lifetime of the connection. Impact summary: A remote peer that can complete a QUIC handshake can cause connection-scoped memory growth which may lead to Denial of Service through memory exhaustion, especially with sustained traffic or many concurrent QUIC connections. CWE: CWE-770: Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling Description: When the OpenSSL QUIC stack sends an ACK-only packet, there is no requirement by the QUIC protocol that the peer will acknowledge that ACK-only packet (i.e. it is itself not ack-eliciting). However, the OpenSSL implementation stores the metadata about the ACK frames regardless. In and of itself that's ok, but if a malicious peer establishes a connection, and then drives the connection such that ACK-only packets are forced from the OpenSSL implementation peer (i.e., by sending numerous PING frames), and then withholding any subsequent acks for ack-eliciting data, like legitimate data, said malicious peer can force inappropriate memory growth on the OpenSSL peer, potentially leading to a Denial of Service. The fix is to ensure that we account for the transmission of the ACK-only packet in the packet histories high and low watermark without actually storing the ACK-only packet metadata itself. FIPS impact: no The OpenSSL FIPS module is not affected as the QUIC code is outside the FIPS module boundary.
CVE-2026-63074 1 Openssl 1 Openssl 2026-09-11 5.9 Medium
Issue summary: The OpenSSL Certificate Management Protocol (CMP) caches additional certificates (extraCerts) sent in a CMP message, but never expunges them (for instance if they are invalid). If a server reuses an OSSL_CMP_CTX frequently, this cache of extraCerts may grow unboundedly, and a malicious client may flood a CMP server with requests driving this growth. Impact summary: Users utilizing a CMP server that reuses a single OSSL_CMP_CTX for the lifetime of a server process may observe unbounded memory growth in the event a malicious client repeatedly sends requests containing unique extra certificates, which may lead to OOM conditions. CWE: CWE-770: Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling Description: If a remote user sends CMP messages to a server with a list of extraCerts and the message is rejected, the extraCerts from the message remains in the server contexts untrusted certificate stack. This exposes servers with long lived ctx objects to Denial of Service attacks in which an attacker sends messages intending to be rejected with a large list of additional certificates repeatedly, forcing the server to store them indefinitely. The issue was fixed by removing the added extra certs if the message is rejected, using the same method as when the context is configured to not do caching at all. FIPS impact: no As the CMP code lives outside the FIPS module boundary, no FIPS modules are affected by this CVE.
CVE-2026-81009 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-11 4.7 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: io_uring/query: cap user size passed to copy_struct_to_user io_handle_query_entry() clamps hdr.size for the inbound copy_from_user() but keeps the original user value as usize. copy_struct_to_user() uses that usize and, when it is larger than the kernel result, clear_user()s the trailing bytes. As hdr.size is a __u32, a query can request nearly 4 GiB of zeroing, including on the error path where res_size stays 0. The interface is reachable without a ring via IORING_REGISTER_QUERY. Reject sizes larger than PAGE_SIZE, as recommended for copy_struct_* interfaces.
CVE-2026-80996 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-09-11 4.4 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: l2tp: do not propagate multicast notification errors The tunnel create, tunnel modify, session create, and session modify netlink handlers send multicast notifications through helpers that can fail while allocating or encoding a message, or while multicasting it. For tunnel and session create/modify, a notification is sent after the live operation has completed. Returning a best-effort notification error as the command result can therefore report failure for an operation that already committed and can cause callers to retry and accumulate live objects. Keep sending notifications for listener visibility, but do not propagate their best-effort status as the command result. This also keeps the tunnel modify command consistent with the other notification-only paths.
CVE-2026-86075 1 N8n 1 N8n 2026-09-11 7.5 High
n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 2.37.7 and 2.38.2, the OAuth Dynamic Client Registration endpoint bounded redirect_uris but accepted arbitrarily large client_name and grant_types values. An unauthenticated remote caller could repeatedly persist oversized values in oauth_clients and exhaust database storage. The affected validation is in packages/cli/src/modules/oauth-server/oauth-server.service.ts, including MAX_CLIENT_NAME_LENGTH and MAX_GRANT_TYPES. This issue is fixed in versions 2.37.7 and 2.38.2.
CVE-2026-87908 1 Multiparty 1 Multiparty 2026-09-11 7.5 High
multiparty is a Node.js library for parsing multipart/form-data request bodies. In versions from 2.1.0 up to but not including 4.3.1, the parser does not bound the amount of memory used while accumulating the headers of a single multipart part. An unauthenticated attacker can send a single request whose part carries a very large volume of header bytes, forcing the parser to buffer all of them and exhausting the process memory, which crashes the server. This is a denial of service with no confidentiality or integrity impact. The issue is fixed in multiparty 4.3.1, which caps the size of the accumulated part headers. Users should upgrade to multiparty 4.3.1 or later.
