| A vulnerability in the CLI of Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Controller, formerly SD-WAN vSmart, Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Manager, formerly SD-WAN vManage, and Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Validator, formerly SD-WAN vBond, could allow an authenticated, local attacker to execute arbitrary commands as root by supplying a crafted file to the affected system.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by uploading a crafted file to the affected system. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to perform command injection attacks on an affected system and elevate their privileges as the root user.
To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have netadmin privileges on the affected system. This would require valid credentials or exploitation of or . Cisco is not aware of successful exploitation by other methods. Cisco has observed limited cases where the exploitation of this bug resulted in a configuration change pushed to edge devices.
Cisco recommends that customers upgrade to the fixed software that is documented in the that was published on May 14, 2026, and verify the configuration of the edge devices. |
| FileBrowser Quantum is a free, self-hosted, web-based file manager. Prior to version 1.4.3-beta, the `subtitlesHandler` endpoint (`GET /api/media/subtitles`) accepts two user-controlled query parameters: `path` and `name`, both of which are used in filesystem operations without sanitization, creating two independent path traversal vectors. The primary vector is the `path` parameter: it is passed directly to `idx.GetRealPath()` without calling `SanitizeUserPath()`, allowing an attacker to escape the storage root and set `parentDir` to any directory on the host. No existing anchor file is required. The secondary vector is the `name` parameter: it is joined with `parentDir` via `filepath.Join(parentDir, name)` without stripping directory components, allowing traversal relative to any resolved `parentDir`. Any authenticated user (regardless of role or permissions) can exploit either vector to read any text file readable by the server process, including `/etc/passwd`, SSH keys, database credentials, and JWT signing keys. Version 1.4.3-beta patches the issue. |

| Cleartext Transmission of Sensitive Information, Insufficiently Protected Credentials vulnerability in rustdesk-client RustDesk Client rustdesk-client on Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS, Android (Address book sync, Heartbeat sync loop modules) allows Sniffing Attacks.
The client places the preset address-book password verbatim into the heartbeat sync JSON body (src/hbbs_http/sync.rs). Over an intact HTTPS session it is not exposed in transit, but it is a reusable shared secret rather than a zero-knowledge proof, so it is recovered by any party that becomes the API endpoint - under the re-homed/rogue API server (CVE-2026-30797) - and the leaked credential then authorizes the server-side address book.
This vulnerability is associated with program files src/hbbs_http/sync.rs and program routines heartbeat sync body builder (emits preset-address-book-password).

| NocoBase is an AI-powered no-code/low-code platform for building business applications and enterprise solutions. Prior to 2.0.61, NocoBase @nocobase/plugin-notification-in-app-message exposed GET /api/myInAppChannels:list, where the filter[latestMsgReceiveTimestamp][$lt] value was inserted into a Sequelize.literal() template string without escaping or parameter binding, allowing a signed-up authenticated user to run stacked PostgreSQL statements and potentially execute commands with COPY ... | Apache Log4j's JsonTemplateLayout https://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/manual/json-template-layout.html , in versions up to and including 2.25.3, produces invalid JSON output when log events contain non-finite floating-point values (NaN, Infinity, or -Infinity), which are prohibited by RFC 8259. This may cause downstream log processing systems to reject or fail to index affected records.
An attacker can exploit this issue only if both of the following conditions are met:
* The application uses JsonTemplateLayout.
* The application logs a MapMessage, or logs an object directly (e.g., via Logger.info(Object), which wraps it in an ObjectMessage), where the message contains an attacker-controlled floating-point value.
Users are advised to upgrade to Apache Log4j JSON Template Layout 2.25.4, which corrects this issue.
Note: The fix released in version 2.25.4 did not cover all affected code paths. CVE-2026-49844 was assigned to the remaining issue, which concerns the MapMessage.asJson() serialization in Apache Log4j API and is fixed in versions 2.25.5 and 2.26.1. |

| A flaw was found in c-ares. A use-after-free / double-free vulnerability exists in the query-completion handling path, where a query callback is invoked while the query is still linked in internal lookup structures. A remote attacker can exploit this via ares_getaddrinfo() over TCP by sending crafted DNS responses that force an EDNS-downgrade retry followed by a connection reset, causing the internal completion handler to access freed memory. This leads to memory corruption and a crash (denial of service), with potential for further impact depending on the allocator and build configuration. |
| Jodit Editor is a WYSIWYG editor with written in pure TypeScript file and image editing capabilities. In versions prior to 4.12.18, Jodit.configure(options) — and the internal ConfigMerge / ConfigProto helpers — merged user-supplied options into the editor configuration without filtering prototype-mutating keys, potentially causing a Prototype Pollution vulnerability. A payload nested under an existing plain-object option such as controls could reach and mutate Object.prototype. Applications that pass user-controlled or partially user-controlled configuration into Jodit.configure() may be vulnerable. This issue was fixed in version 4.12.18. |

| A vulnerability in Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Unified CM) and Cisco Unified Communications Manager Session Management Edition (Unified CM SME) could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to conduct server-side request forgery (SSRF) attacks through an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to improper input validation for specific HTTP requests. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a crafted HTTP request to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to write files to the underlying operating system that could be used later to elevate to root.
Note: Cisco has assigned this security advisory a Security Impact Rating (SIR) of Critical rather than High as the score indicates. The reason is that exploitation of this vulnerability could result in an attacker elevating privileges to root.
Note: To exploit this vulnerability, the WebDialer service must be enabled. WebDialer is disabled by default. |
