Vite is a frontend tooling framework for javascript. Prior to versions 6.3.4, 6.2.7, 6.1.6, 5.4.19, and 4.5.14, the contents of files in the project root that are denied by a file matching pattern can be returned to the browser. Only apps explicitly exposing the Vite dev server to the network (using --host or server.host config option) are affected. Only files that are under project root and are denied by a file matching pattern can be bypassed. `server.fs.deny` can contain patterns matching against files (by default it includes .env, .env.*, *.{crt,pem} as such patterns). These patterns were able to bypass for files under `root` by using a combination of slash and dot (/.). This issue has been patched in versions 6.3.4, 6.2.7, 6.1.6, 5.4.19, and 4.5.14.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: idpf: fix idpf_vc_core_init error path In an event where the platform running the device control plane is rebooted, reset is detected on the driver. It releases all the resources and waits for the reset to complete. Once the reset is done, it tries to build the resources back. At this time if the device control plane is not yet started, then the driver timeouts on the virtchnl message and retries to establish the mailbox again. In the retry flow, mailbox is deinitialized but the mailbox workqueue is still alive and polling for the mailbox message. This results in accessing the released control queue leading to null-ptr-deref. Fix it by unrolling the work queue cancellation and mailbox deinitialization in the reverse order which they got initialized.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: afs: Fix merge preference rule failure condition syzbot reported a lock held when returning to userspace[1]. This is because if argc is less than 0 and the function returns directly, the held inode lock is not released. Fix this by store the error in ret and jump to done to clean up instead of returning directly. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware: qcom: scm: Fix missing read barrier in qcom_scm_get_tzmem_pool() Commit 2e4955167ec5 ("firmware: qcom: scm: Fix __scm and waitq completion variable initialization") introduced a write barrier in probe function to store global '__scm' variable. We all known barriers are paired (see memory-barriers.txt: "Note that write barriers should normally be paired with read or address-dependency barriers"), therefore accessing it from concurrent contexts requires read barrier. Previous commit added such barrier in qcom_scm_is_available(), so let's use that directly. Lack of this read barrier can result in fetching stale '__scm' variable value, NULL, and dereferencing it. Note that barrier in qcom_scm_is_available() satisfies here the control dependency.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: iwlwifi: mvm: avoid NULL pointer dereference When iterating over the links of a vif, we need to make sure that the pointer is valid (in other words - that the link exists) before dereferncing it. Use for_each_vif_active_link that also does the check.
