| CVE-2025-40313 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ntfs3: pretend $Extend records as regular files Since commit af153bb63a33 ("vfs: catch invalid modes in may_open()") requires any inode be one of S_IFDIR/S_IFLNK/S_IFREG/S_IFCHR/S_IFBLK/ S_IFIFO/S_IFSOCK type, use S_IFREG for $Extend records. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: jfs: Verify inode mode when loading from disk The inode mode loaded from corrupted disk can be invalid. Do like what commit 0a9e74051313 ("isofs: Verify inode mode when loading from disk") does. | ||||
| CVE-2025-40311 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/habanalabs: support mapping cb with vmalloc-backed coherent memory When IOMMU is enabled, dma_alloc_coherent() with GFP_USER may return addresses from the vmalloc range. If such an address is mapped without VM_MIXEDMAP, vm_insert_page() will trigger a BUG_ON due to the VM_PFNMAP restriction. Fix this by checking for vmalloc addresses and setting VM_MIXEDMAP in the VMA before mapping. This ensures safe mapping and avoids kernel crashes. The memory is still driver-allocated and cannot be accessed directly by userspace. | ||||

| CVE-2025-40308 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: bcsp: receive data only if registered Currently, bcsp_recv() can be called even when the BCSP protocol has not been registered. This leads to a NULL pointer dereference, as shown in the following stack trace: KASAN: null-ptr-deref in range [0x0000000000000108-0x000000000000010f] RIP: 0010:bcsp_recv+0x13d/0x1740 drivers/bluetooth/hci_bcsp.c:590 Call Trace: <TASK> hci_uart_tty_receive+0x194/0x220 drivers/bluetooth/hci_ldisc.c:627 tiocsti+0x23c/0x2c0 drivers/tty/tty_io.c:2290 tty_ioctl+0x626/0xde0 drivers/tty/tty_io.c:2706 vfs_ioctl fs/ioctl.c:51 [inline] __do_sys_ioctl fs/ioctl.c:907 [inline] __se_sys_ioctl+0xfc/0x170 fs/ioctl.c:893 do_syscall_x64 arch/x86/entry/syscall_64.c:63 [inline] do_syscall_64+0xfa/0x3b0 arch/x86/entry/syscall_64.c:94 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x77/0x7f To prevent this, ensure that the HCI_UART_REGISTERED flag is set before processing received data. | CVE-2025-40305 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: 9p/trans_fd: p9_fd_request: kick rx thread if EPOLLIN p9_read_work() doesn't set Rworksched and doesn't do schedule_work(m->rq) if list_empty(&m->req_list). However, if the pipe is full, we need to read more data and this used to work prior to commit aaec5a95d59615 ("pipe_read: don't wake up the writer if the pipe is still full"). p9_read_work() does p9_fd_read() -> ... -> anon_pipe_read() which (before the commit above) triggered the unnecessary wakeup. This wakeup calls p9_pollwake() which kicks p9_poll_workfn() -> p9_poll_mux(), p9_poll_mux() will notice EPOLLIN and schedule_work(&m->rq). This no longer happens after the optimization above, change p9_fd_request() to use p9_poll_mux() instead of only checking for EPOLLOUT. | ||||
| CVE-2025-40296 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: platform/x86: int3472: Fix double free of GPIO device during unregister regulator_unregister() already frees the associated GPIO device. On ThinkPad X9 (Lunar Lake), this causes a double free issue that leads to random failures when other drivers (typically Intel THC) attempt to allocate interrupts. The root cause is that the reference count of the pinctrl_intel_platform module unexpectedly drops to zero when this driver defers its probe. This behavior can also be reproduced by unloading the module directly. Fix the issue by removing the redundant release of the GPIO device during regulator unregistration. | ||||
| CVE-2025-40293 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommufd: Don't overflow during division for dirty tracking If pgshift is 63 then BITS_PER_TYPE(*bitmap->bitmap) * pgsize will overflow to 0 and this triggers divide by 0. In this case the index should just be 0, so reorganize things to divide by shift and avoid hitting any overflows. | ||||

| CVE-2025-40130 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: ufs: core: Fix data race in CPU latency PM QoS request handling The cpu_latency_qos_add/remove/update_request interfaces lack internal synchronization by design, requiring the caller to ensure thread safety. The current implementation relies on the 'pm_qos_enabled' flag, which is insufficient to prevent concurrent access and cannot serve as a proper synchronization mechanism. This has led to data races and list corruption issues. A typical race condition call trace is: [Thread A] ufshcd_pm_qos_exit() --> cpu_latency_qos_remove_request() --> cpu_latency_qos_apply(); --> pm_qos_update_target() --> plist_del <--(1) delete plist node --> memset(req, 0, sizeof(*req)); --> hba->pm_qos_enabled = false; [Thread B] ufshcd_devfreq_target --> ufshcd_devfreq_scale --> ufshcd_scale_clks --> ufshcd_pm_qos_update <--(2) pm_qos_enabled is true --> cpu_latency_qos_update_request --> pm_qos_update_target --> plist_del <--(3) plist node use-after-free Introduces a dedicated mutex to serialize PM QoS operations, preventing data races and ensuring safe access to PM QoS resources, including sysfs interface reads. | ||||

| CVE-2025-40076 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: rcar-host: Pass proper IRQ domain to generic_handle_domain_irq() Starting with commit dd26c1a23fd5 ("PCI: rcar-host: Switch to msi_create_parent_irq_domain()"), the MSI parent IRQ domain is NULL because the object of type struct irq_domain_info passed to: msi_create_parent_irq_domain() -> irq_domain_instantiate()() -> __irq_domain_instantiate() has no reference to the parent IRQ domain. Using msi->domain->parent as an argument for generic_handle_domain_irq() leads to below error: "Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address" This error was identified while switching the upcoming RZ/G3S PCIe host controller driver to msi_create_parent_irq_domain() (which was using a similar pattern to handle MSIs (see link section)), but it was not tested on hardware using the pcie-rcar-host controller driver due to lack of hardware. | CVE-2025-40072 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fanotify: Validate the return value of mnt_ns_from_dentry() before dereferencing The function do_fanotify_mark() does not validate if mnt_ns_from_dentry() returns NULL before dereferencing mntns->user_ns. | A critical security vulnerability exists in remote cache extensions for common build systems utilizing bucket-based remote cache (such as those using Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage, or similar object storage) that allows any contributor with pull request privileges to inject compromised artifacts from an untrusted environment into trusted production environments without detection. The vulnerability exploits a fundamental design flaw in the "first-to-cache wins" principle, where artifacts built in untrusted environments (feature branches, pull requests) can poison the cache used by trusted environments (protected branches, production deployments). This attack bypasses all traditional security measures including encryption, access controls, and checksum validation because the poisoning occurs during the artifact construction phase, before any security measures are applied. | ||||
