CVE-2019-16782 4 Fedoraproject, Opensuse, Rack and 1 more 6 Fedora, Leap, Rack and 3 more 2025-02-13 6.3 Medium
There's a possible information leak / session hijack vulnerability in Rack (RubyGem rack). This vulnerability is patched in versions 1.6.12 and 2.0.8. Attackers may be able to find and hijack sessions by using timing attacks targeting the session id. Session ids are usually stored and indexed in a database that uses some kind of scheme for speeding up lookups of that session id. By carefully measuring the amount of time it takes to look up a session, an attacker may be able to find a valid session id and hijack the session. The session id itself may be generated randomly, but the way the session is indexed by the backing store does not use a secure comparison.
CVE-2020-15466 3 Debian, Opensuse, Wireshark 3 Debian Linux, Leap, Wireshark 2024-11-21 7.5 High
In Wireshark 3.2.0 to 3.2.4, the GVCP dissector could go into an infinite loop. This was addressed in epan/dissectors/packet-gvcp.c by ensuring that an offset increases in all situations.
CVE-2020-13935 8 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 5 more 23 Tomcat, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 20 more 2024-11-21 7.5 High
The payload length in a WebSocket frame was not correctly validated in Apache Tomcat 10.0.0-M1 to 10.0.0-M6, 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.36, 8.5.0 to 8.5.56 and 7.0.27 to 7.0.104. Invalid payload lengths could trigger an infinite loop. Multiple requests with invalid payload lengths could lead to a denial of service.
CVE-2020-13164 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Opensuse and 1 more 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Leap and 1 more 2024-11-21 7.5 High
In Wireshark 3.2.0 to 3.2.3, 3.0.0 to 3.0.10, and 2.6.0 to 2.6.16, the NFS dissector could crash. This was addressed in epan/dissectors/packet-nfs.c by preventing excessive recursion, such as for a cycle in the directory graph on a filesystem.
CVE-2019-20907 8 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more 15 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 12 more 2024-11-21 7.5 High
In Lib/tarfile.py in Python through 3.8.3, an attacker is able to craft a TAR archive leading to an infinite loop when opened by tarfile.open, because _proc_pax lacks header validation.
CVE-2019-14905 3 Fedoraproject, Opensuse, Redhat 8 Fedora, Backports Sle, Leap and 5 more 2024-11-21 5.6 Medium
A vulnerability was found in Ansible Engine versions 2.9.x before 2.9.3, 2.8.x before 2.8.8, 2.7.x before 2.7.16 and earlier, where in Ansible's nxos_file_copy module can be used to copy files to a flash or bootflash on NXOS devices. Malicious code could craft the filename parameter to perform OS command injections. This could result in a loss of confidentiality of the system among other issues.
CVE-2019-14889 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more 7 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 4 more 2024-11-21 8.8 High
A flaw was found with the libssh API function ssh_scp_new() in versions before 0.9.3 and before 0.8.8. When the libssh SCP client connects to a server, the scp command, which includes a user-provided path, is executed on the server-side. In case the library is used in a way where users can influence the third parameter of the function, it would become possible for an attacker to inject arbitrary commands, leading to a compromise of the remote target.
CVE-2019-14864 3 Debian, Opensuse, Redhat 9 Debian Linux, Backports Sle, Leap and 6 more 2024-11-21 6.5 Medium
Ansible, versions 2.9.x before 2.9.1, 2.8.x before 2.8.7 and Ansible versions 2.7.x before 2.7.15, is not respecting the flag no_log set it to True when Sumologic and Splunk callback plugins are used send tasks results events to collectors. This would discloses and collects any sensitive data.
CVE-2019-14856 2 Opensuse, Redhat 5 Backports Sle, Leap, Ansible and 2 more 2024-11-21 6.5 Medium
ansible before versions 2.8.6, 2.7.14, 2.6.20 is vulnerable to a None
CVE-2019-14846 3 Debian, Opensuse, Redhat 6 Debian Linux, Backports Sle, Leap and 3 more 2024-11-21 7.8 High
In Ansible, all Ansible Engine versions up to ansible-engine 2.8.5, ansible-engine 2.7.13, ansible-engine 2.6.19, were logging at the DEBUG level which lead to a disclosure of credentials if a plugin used a library that logged credentials at the DEBUG level. This flaw does not affect Ansible modules, as those are executed in a separate process.
CVE-2019-10206 3 Debian, Opensuse, Redhat 6 Debian Linux, Backports Sle, Leap and 3 more 2024-11-21 6.5 Medium
ansible-playbook -k and ansible cli tools, all versions 2.8.x before 2.8.4, all 2.7.x before 2.7.13 and all 2.6.x before 2.6.19, prompt passwords by expanding them from templates as they could contain special characters. Passwords should be wrapped to prevent templates trigger and exposing them.
