CVE-2026-80593 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-28 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (asus_atk0110) Check package count before accessing element atk_ec_present() walks the management group package returned by the GGRP ACPI method and, for each sub-package, reads its first element: id = &obj->package.elements[0]; if (id->type != ACPI_TYPE_INTEGER) without checking that the sub-package is non-empty. ACPICA allocates the element array with exactly package.count entries, so for a sub-package with a zero count this reads past the allocation. The sibling function atk_debugfs_ggrp_open() performs the same access but skips empty packages with a package.count check first. Add the same check to atk_ec_present() so a malformed firmware package cannot trigger an out-of-bounds read.
CVE-2026-80592 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-28 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: samples/damon/mtier: fail early if address range parameters are invalid The comment on top of `struct damon_region` clearly says that For any use case, @ar should be non-zero positive size. which is now verified in damon_verify_new_region() if the kernel is built with DAMON_DEBUG_SANITY. The WARN_ONCE() can be triggered if the mtier sample module is enabled before node{0,1}_{start,end}_addr have been properly initialized, which is obviously not good. ------------[ cut here ]------------ start 0 >= end 0 WARNING: mm/damon/core.c:217 at damon_new_region+0xf4/0x118, CPU#59: bash/341468 Call trace: damon_new_region+0xf4/0x118 (P) damon_set_regions+0xfc/0x3c0 damon_sample_mtier_build_ctx+0xe8/0x3a8 damon_sample_mtier_start+0x1c/0x90 damon_sample_mtier_enable_store+0x98/0xb0 param_attr_store+0xb4/0x128 module_attr_store+0x2c/0x50 sysfs_kf_write+0x58/0x90 kernfs_fop_write_iter+0x16c/0x238 vfs_write+0x2c0/0x370 ksys_write+0x74/0x118 __arm64_sys_write+0x24/0x38 invoke_syscall+0xa8/0x118 el0_svc_common.constprop.0+0x48/0xf0 do_el0_svc+0x24/0x38 el0_svc+0x54/0x370 el0t_64_sync_handler+0xa0/0xe8 el0t_64_sync+0x1ac/0x1b0 ---[ end trace 0000000000000000 ]--- Note that the same issue can happen if detect_node_addresses is true, and node 0 or 1 is memoryless. CVE-2026-38820 1 Opennds 1 Opennds 2026-08-28 8.3 High
openNDS before 11.0.0 is susceptible to unauthenticated OS command execution via shell command injection through the fas query parameter on the /opennds_preauth/ endpoint because of libopennds.sh.
CVE-2026-38821 1 Opennds 1 Opennds 2026-08-28 7.1 High
A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in openNDS before 11.0.0 that allows an unauthenticated attacker on the captive portal network to crash the openNDS daemon (denial of service) and potentially achieve remote code execution. This is in http_microhttpd.c.
CVE-2026-38822 1 Opennds 1 Opennds 2026-08-28 7.6 High
In openNDS before 11.0.0, the client_params.sh script, invoked by the openNDS daemon to serve the authenticated client status page, is vulnerable to OS command injection through crafted HTTP GET query parameter keys. An authenticated captive portal user can inject arbitrary shell commands by embedding semicolons in a URL query parameter name.
CVE-2026-77341 1 Yhirose 1 Cpp-httplib 2026-08-28 N/A
cpp-httplib is a C++ header-only HTTP/HTTPS library. In version 0.49.0, the chunked-response trailer output path writes trailer header names and values directly to the socket without validating them, allowing CRLF sequences in a trailer field to inject additional headers or split the HTTP response. Unlike every other header-writing path in the library, the trailer-writing code applies none of the field-name and field-value checks that reject carriage return and line feed, so an application that places attacker-influenced data into a chunked response trailer emits attacker-controlled CRLF onto the wire. This enables HTTP response splitting, letting an attacker forge response headers or inject a second response. This issue is fixed in version 0.50.0.
CVE-2026-77358 1 Yhirose 1 Cpp-httplib 2026-08-28 N/A
cpp-httplib is a C++ header-only HTTP/HTTPS library. In versions 0.33.0 through 0.50.0, the TLS-enabled WebSocket client frees the TLS session before closing the WebSocket that still uses it, producing a use-after-free. In WebSocketClient::shutdown_and_close the SSL object is freed and the pointer cleared, but the subsequent WebSocket close still sends a close frame through the SSL socket stream, which holds a raw copy of the now-dangling session pointer and reads from and writes to the freed memory. The same freed-then-used ordering is reachable through the client's destructor and its connect path, so ordinary teardown of a secure WebSocket connection triggers the defect. This issue is fixed in version 0.50.1.
CVE-2026-54085 1 Wazuh 1 Wazuh 2026-08-28 7.1 High
Wazuh is an open-source security platform providing unified XDR and SIEM protection for endpoints and cloud workloads. In versions 4.2.0 through 4.14.6, multiple active response scripts pass attacker-influenced alert fields to privileged system commands without validating their format, allowing argument injection into tools that run as root. Five of the eight scripts that handle the srcip field, route-null.c, netsh.c, pf.c, npf.c, and ipfw.c, omit the get_ip_version() check that rejects non-IP input, and disable-account.c passes the dstuser field to passwd/chuser with only a comparison against "root". An attacker who can inject crafted log events, for example via syslog, can supply srcip or dstuser values that, when an active response rule triggers, are passed unvalidated to firewall and account-management commands such as pfctl, npfctl, ipfw, route, netsh, and passwd. This enables injecting additional command arguments, and on Windows the unquoted CreateProcess command-line concatenation in wpopenv() lets a srcip containing spaces add further arguments, while disable-account.c can be abused to lock arbitrary system accounts. This issue is fixed in version 4.14.7.
CVE-2026-61800 1 Wazuh 1 Wazuh 2026-08-28 9.1 Critical
Wazuh is an open-source security platform providing unified XDR and SIEM protection for endpoints and cloud workloads. In versions 4.4.0 through 4.14.6, a party holding the cluster key can write, overwrite, or delete arbitrary files under /var/ossec on worker nodes, leading to remote code execution as root. During cluster file synchronization, the non-merged branch of update_master_files_in_worker() moves each staged file to a destination derived only from safe_join(), which confines the path to /var/ossec but never verifies that the file lands in the directory declared by its cluster_item_key. Because the destination check present on the primary node and on the worker's merged branch was not applied, a peer can place files at attacker-chosen locations under /var/ossec, including paths that are executed as root, and the delete branch has the same gap. This is an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-30893, which addressed traversal outside /var/ossec but left this path able to redirect files anywhere within it. This issue is fixed in version 4.14.7.
CVE-2026-61802 1 Wazuh 1 Wazuh 2026-08-28 6.5 Medium
Wazuh is an open-source security platform providing unified XDR and SIEM protection for endpoints and cloud workloads. In versions 4.14.0 through 4.14.6, a low-privilege API user can read the cleartext cluster key from a configuration endpoint that fails to redact it. The REST API provides a masking control, mask_sensitive_config, that redacts sensitive fields such as authd.pass and cluster.key from configuration responses for users who lack update-config permission, and every config-read endpoint carries this decorator except GET /cluster/local/config. That endpoint, backed by read_config_wrapper, is gated only by cluster:read and returns the local node's cluster configuration including the cleartext key, whereas its siblings return the same value masked. As a result, any account with the default readonly or cluster_readonly role, which is explicitly denied update-config precisely so it cannot view secrets, receives the real cluster key. Because the cluster key authenticates and encrypts traffic between cluster nodes, disclosing it to an unprivileged account provides the authentication precondition for the cluster-peer remote code execution chains established by prior advisories. This issue is fixed in version 4.14.
CVE-2026-5097 2026-08-28 7.5 High
The wpForo Forum plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'referer' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.4.17. This is due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
CVE-2026-6286 2026-08-28 7.2 High
The Booking for Appointments and Events Calendar – Amelia plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via customer name fields in versions up to and including 2.2. This is due to an authentication bypass where the AddBookingCommand explicitly skips nonce verification (Command.php line 186), allowing unauthenticated users to submit booking data. While the plugin applies sanitize_text_field() to customer firstName and lastName fields (BookingApplicationService.php lines 302-308), this function only removes HTML tags and preserves special characters including double quotes. The vulnerability manifests in the administrative Calendar view where a FullCalendar eventContent callback interpolates customer names directly into JavaScript template literals (redesign/dist/index.js line 199) and renders them via innerHTML without proper HTML entity encoding. Because double quotes are preserved, an attacker can inject payloads like '" onmouseover="alert(document.cookie)"' to break out of the title attribute and inject malicious event handlers. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts that will execute when an administrator accesses the Calendar page and hovers over the malicious appointment.
CVE-2026-76581 2026-08-28 9.8 Critical
The WPMU DEV Dashboard plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in all versions up to, and including, 5.0.1. This is due to inconsistent and ambiguous HMAC message construction between the unauthenticated `wdpsso_step1` and `wdpsso_step2` AJAX actions, where step 1 signs and discloses an unseparated concatenation of the token, state, redirect, and domain values, while step 2 verifies an unseparated concatenation that omits the domain field. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers, on sites connected to WPMU DEV with Hub SSO enabled and mapped to an administrator, to obtain a valid HMAC from step 1 and replay it to step 2 by moving the domain value into the redirect field, resulting in an authenticated administrator session.
