| CVE-2026-96545 | 2 Gimp, Redhat | 2 Gimp, Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-24 | 4.4 Medium |
| An out-of-bounds heap read flaw was found in GIMP's TIM image loader. When a user opens a crafted 4bpp TIM image that causes promotion to an RGBA layer, the file-tim plug-in allocates an undersized row buffer but processes it using the larger RGBA row size. This can copy adjacent heap contents into the decoded image and may crash the plug-in. | ||||
| CVE-2026-88015 | 1 Rclone | 1 Rclone | 2026-09-23 | 5.3 Medium |
| rclone is a command-line program to sync files and directories to and from different cloud storage providers. Prior to 1.75.1, backend/local with --links or links=true exposes symlink targets as .rclonelink objects, and fs.RangeOption.Decode can pass an unchecked positive Range start through Object.Open and openTranslatedLink. The function slices the target string as linkdst[offset:], so a Range start larger than the target length causes a deterministic slice-bounds panic when lib/http/serve exposes the object through HTTP or WebDAV. Go net/http normally recovers the panic per connection, causing request-level denial of service rather than terminating the entire process. This issue is fixed in version 1.75.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-96674 | 1 Alsa-project | 1 Alsa-lib | 2026-09-23 | 4.4 Medium |
| alsa-lib through 1.2.16.1 computes combined topology element size using 32-bit arithmetic in src/topology/ctl.c, allowing integer overflow that defeats bounds checks. Attackers can supply crafted topology files that wrap size calculations, causing the decoder to read beyond the topology buffer and potentially leak sensitive data or crash the application. | ||||
| CVE-2026-69509 | 1 Microsoft | 27 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 21h2 and 24 more | 2026-09-23 | 7.8 High |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Fax Service allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. | ||||
| CVE-2026-96675 | 1 Alsa-project | 1 Alsa-lib | 2026-09-23 | 3.3 Low |
| alsa-lib through 1.2.16.1 contains a denial of service vulnerability in the multi PCM plugin that fails to validate sparse binding indices before array access. Attackers can supply a malicious ALSA configuration file with sparse bindings to trigger an out-of-bounds array read and assertion failure, causing the application to abort. | ||||
| CVE-2026-69443 | 1 Microsoft | 6 Windows 10 1809, Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2019 (server Core Installation) and 3 more | 2026-09-23 | 7.5 High |
| Out-of-bounds read in Microsoft Azure Attestation service and Device Health Attestation Service allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information over a network. | ||||
| CVE-2026-88345 | 1 Dvidelabs | 1 Flatcc | 2026-09-23 | 7.5 High |
| An out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in the schema lexer of flatcc 4c3b999e. When an exact-length FlatBuffers schema ends with an unterminated quotation mark, the C-string scanning logic in lex() dereferences the input pointer after it has reached the end of the buffer. A specially crafted schema can trigger a one-byte heap buffer over-read, resulting in application crash and denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-89846 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-23 | 9.1 Critical |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: qla2xxx: Bound rsp_info_len to avoid OOB sense-data read In qla2x00_status_entry(), the FWI2 status path advances sense_data and shrinks par_sense_len by rsp_info_len: if (IS_FWI2_CAPABLE(ha)) { sense_data += rsp_info_len; par_sense_len -= rsp_info_len; } rsp_info_len is a 32-bit value taken directly from the target's FCP response (sf.rsp_data_len), while par_sense_len is the IOCB data area size (28 bytes for 24xx, 60 bytes for 29xx). A hostile or buggy target reporting an rsp_info_len larger than par_sense_len makes the unsigned subtraction underflow to a huge value and advances sense_data out of bounds. The underflowed par_sense_len then defeats the cap in qla2x00_handle_sense(): if (sense_len > par_sense_len) sense_len = par_sense_len; memcpy(cp->sense_buffer, sense_data, sense_len); so the memcpy reads up to SCSI_SENSE_BUFFERSIZE bytes from the out-of-bounds sense_data pointer, leaking adjacent response-ring/heap memory into the command's sense buffer. Clamp rsp_info_len to par_sense_len before the subtraction so par_sense_len can never underflow and sense_data stays within the IOCB data area. The fix sits before the comp_status switch, covering both qla2x00_handle_sense() call sites. | ||||
| CVE-2026-91810 | 1 Foxitsoftware | 2 Pdf Editor, Pdf Reader | 2026-09-23 | 6.1 Medium |
| A heap-based out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in Foxit PDF Editor/Reader’s handling of malformed PDF image masks. Inconsistent image metadata may cause incorrect alpha-channel processing during rendering, resulting in an out-of-bounds read and application crash. | ||||
| CVE-2026-78441 | 1 Microsoft | 6 Microsoft Sql Server 2017 (cu 31), Microsoft Sql Server 2017 (gdr), Microsoft Sql Server 2019 (cu 32) and 3 more | 2026-09-23 | 6.5 Medium |
| Out-of-bounds read in Windows OLE DB allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information over a network. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73434 | 2 Gstreamer, Redhat | 9 Gstreamer, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 6 more | 2026-09-23 | 6.1 Medium |
| A flaw was found in GStreamer gst-plugins-good (avidemux). In gst_avi_demux_riff_parse_vprp(), the number of available gst_riff_vprp_video_field_desc entries is calculated by dividing the remaining buffer size by the attacker-controlled vprp->fields value, rather than by sizeof(gst_riff_vprp_video_field_desc). This can cause the parser to treat more field descriptors as available than fit in the input buffer, resulting in out-of-bounds reads. Processing a crafted AVI via playbin/decodebin can crash the application (denial of service). Fixed upstream in gst-plugins-good 1.28.6 (GStreamer-SA-2026-0072). | ||||
| CVE-2026-23935 | 1 Zabbix | 1 Zabbix | 2026-09-23 | 4.9 Medium |

| CVE-2026-72937 | 1 Microsoft | 26 Windows 10 1607, Windows 10 1809, Windows 10 21h2 and 23 more | 2026-09-23 | 5.5 Medium |
| Out-of-bounds read in Storage Port Driver allows an authorized attacker to disclose information locally. | ||||
| CVE-2026-93599 | 1 Rustls | 1 Webpki | 2026-09-22 | 7.5 High |
| rustls-webpki through 0.103.12 (and 0.104.0-alpha releases before 0.104.0-alpha.7) contains a reachable panic in bit_string_flags() in src/der.rs. The input guard fails to reject a named-bit BIT STRING whose content is exactly [0x00] (zero padding bits and no data bytes), so raw_bits.len() - 1 underflows on the empty slice and the subsequent index operation panics (subtract-with-overflow in debug, index-out-of-bounds in release). The condition is reachable through the public API BorrowedCertRevocationList::from_der() when a CRL contains an issuingDistributionPoint extension with such an onlySomeReasons value. Exploitation requires an application that explicitly opts in to CRL revocation checking by passing RevocationOptions to verify_for_usage() and that parses CRL bytes obtained from a source the attacker can influence; the default rustls configuration, which does not use RevocationOptions, is unaffected. A crafted CRL causes a denial of service via the panic. Fixed in 0.103.13 and 0.104.0-alpha.7. | ||||
| CVE-2026-59842 | 2 Libssh, Redhat | 12 Libssh, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux For Els and 9 more | 2026-09-22 | 3.7 Low |
| A flaw was found in libssh. During server-side GSSAPI key exchange, a client-supplied Curve25519 public key shorter than the expected length is copied without proper length validation, leading to an out-of-bounds heap read. This could allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to disclose small amounts of server memory. | ||||
| CVE-2026-55192 | 1 Freerdp | 1 Freerdp | 2026-09-22 | 8.2 High |
| FreeRDP is a free implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol. Prior to 3.27.0, FreeRDP H.264 decoder backends can return YUV planes sized from the bitstream without comparing the decoded width and height to the RDPGFX surface dimensions used to validate region rectangles. A malicious RDP server can provide an AVC420 or AVC444 bitstream whose decoded frame is smaller than the negotiated surface, causing yuv420_context_decode and the YUV-to-RGB conversion paths to read beyond the decoder-owned planes in libfreerdp/codec/h264.c and the selected H.264 backend. This can disclose client memory or crash the client. This issue is fixed in version 3.27.0. | ||||
