Wekan is open source kanban built with Meteor. From 9.57 until 9.74, the /api/boards/:boardId/exportExcel route in models/exportExcel.js called the asynchronous exporterExcel.canExport(user) authorization guard from models/server/ExporterExcel.js without awaiting it. The returned Promise was always truthy, so exporterExcel.build(res) ran even when board.isVisibleBy(user) would deny access, allowing any authenticated non-member to download private board card titles, descriptions, lists, swimlanes, members, and metadata. This issue is fixed in version 9.74.

Multiple Cisco products are affected by a vulnerability in the Snort 3 Detection Engine that could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the Snort 3 Detection Engine to restart, resulting in an interruption of packet inspection. This vulnerability is due to an error in the binder module initialization logic of the Snort Detection Engine. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending certain packets through an established connection that is parsed by Snort 3. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause a DoS condition when the Snort 3 Detection Engine restarts unexpectedly.

The primary /stored-eula-file/{filename} route correctly denies access, but app/Http/Controllers/ProfileController.php and app/Http/Controllers/Api/UsersController.php do not consistently enforce ownership and target-user authorization. This issue is fixed in version 8.6.3.

FUXA is a web-based Process Visualization (SCADA/HMI/Dashboard) software. In 1.3.2 and earlier, POST /api/refresh in server/api/auth/index.js falls back from current user data to decoded.groups, including when the user is deleted or groups is zero, and POST /api/heartbeat in server/api/index.js re-signs inbound JWT claims without validating the current database record. An attacker who possesses a previously issued privileged refresh cookie or access token can continue minting privileged JWTs after account deletion, disablement, role removal, or demotion. Continued refresh-cookie rotation can extend the stale session and preserve unauthorized access to user management, project manipulation, runtime configuration, scripts, and backdoor-account creation. This issue is fixed in version 1.3.3.

Algernon is a small self-contained pure-Go web server. Prior to 1.17.9, Algernon on Windows selects a file handler in engine/handlers.go by calling filepath.Ext() without first rejecting NTFS-equivalent names such as x.lua::$DATA, x.lua., and x.lua . An unauthenticated client can append one of these suffixes to a public server-side script using the .lua, .tl, .po2, .amber, or .frm extension. The request path passes through URL2filename in utils/files.go, skips the renderer and execution cases, and reaches FilePage, os.Open, ReadAndLogErrors, and ToClient, while NTFS resolves the alias to the underlying script. The server consequently returns raw script source and can expose database credentials, API keys, and the SetCookieSecret value, which may permit forged session cookies. Linux and macOS hosts are not affected by this issue. This issue is fixed in version 1.17.9.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hwmon: (adt7470) Fix busy-loop and I2C flooding in update thread When userspace configures 'auto_update_interval' to 0 via sysfs, the background kthread executes schedule_timeout_interruptible(0), which returns immediately. If 'num_temp_sensors' is concurrently or previously set to 0, the msleep_interruptible() delay inside adt7470_read_temperatures() also becomes 0. This combination forces the background thread into a tight, unbounded busy-loop, hogging the CPU and flooding the I2C bus with a continuous stream of transactions. Fix this vulnerability by raising the lower limit of the clamp_val in auto_update_interval_store() from 0 to 500 milliseconds. This guarantees a reasonable minimum sleep window between sensor updates, protecting the system from intentional or accidental I2C bus denial of service.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: audit: fix potential use-after-free in audit_del_rule() `audit_del_rule()` destroys `e->rule.exe` via `audit_remove_mark_rule()` before unlinking the rule from RCU-visible filter lists and waiting for a grace period. Concurrent readers in `audit_filter()` and `audit_filter_rules()` still dereference `e->rule.exe`, while the fsnotify mark can be freed on an independent lifetime path. This creates a use-after-free window during rule deletion. Fix this by unlinking the rule from the RCU-visible lists and invoking `synchronize_rcu()` before calling `audit_remove_mark_rule()` (and other rule removal helpers). This ensures that all existing RCU readers have exited the critical section before any underlying resources are destroyed.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/vmwgfx: validate DRAW_PRIMITIVES header size before division vmw_cmd_draw() computes maxnum = (header->size - sizeof(cmd->body)) / sizeof(*decl); where header->size is u32 and is taken straight from the user-supplied command stream. When header->size is less than sizeof(cmd->body) the unsigned subtraction wraps to nearly 4 GiB, producing a huge maxnum. Any user-controlled cmd->body.numVertexDecls then passes the bound and the loop dereferences decl[i] far past the end of the kernel command bounce buffer, producing an out-of-bounds read of kernel memory. Reject undersized headers up front.

Prior to 3.8.5, the Login plugin twofa_cancel task accepts a client-controlled _redirect field without a nonce and allows an unauthenticated request to set an external http, https, or protocol-relative Location target. Controller::execute() applies the field when taskTwofa_cancel() sets no redirect, and Grav::getRedirectResponse() accepts the target through Uri::isExternal(), enabling phishing redirects from a trusted Grav host. This issue is fixed in version 3.8.5.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ata: sata_dwc_460ex: fix infinite loop in NCQ tag completion bit-scanning The hand-rolled bit-scanning loop in the NCQ completion path has an infinite loop bug. When tag_mask has only high bits set (e.g. 0x80000000), the inner while loop left-shifts tag_mask until it overflows to 0. At that point !(0 & 1) is always true and 0 <<= 1 stays 0, causing an infinite loop in hardirq context with a spinlock held. Replace the open-coded bit-scanning with __ffs() which correctly finds the least significant set bit and is bounded by the width of the argument.

A spoofing vulnerability exists when Microsoft Edge does not properly parse HTTP content. An attacker who successfully exploited this vulnerability could trick a user by redirecting the user to a specially crafted website. The specially crafted website could either spoof content or serve as a pivot to chain an attack with other vulnerabilities in web services. To exploit the vulnerability, the user must click a specially crafted URL. In an email attack scenario, an attacker could send an email message containing the specially crafted URL to the user in an attempt to convince the user to click it. In a web-based attack scenario, an attacker could host a specially crafted website designed to appear as a legitimate website to the user. However, the attacker would have no way to force the user to visit the specially crafted website. The attacker would have to convince the user to visit the specially crafted website, typically by way of enticement in an email or instant message, and then convince the user to interact with content on the website. The update addresses the vulnerability by correcting how Microsoft Edge parses HTTP responses.

To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker would have to log on to an affected system and run a specially crafted script or application. The update addresses the vulnerability by correcting how the Windows Print Spooler Component writes to the file system.
