| CVE-2026-86079 | 1 N8n | 1 N8n | 2026-09-11 | 6.5 Medium |
| n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 1.123.76, 2.37.7, and 2.38.2, the Elasticsearch and ElasticSecurity nodes interpolated workflow-controlled index and document identifiers directly into REST request paths. An identifier containing path separators or dot segments could select another index or a cluster administration endpoint under the stored Elasticsearch credential. The affected request construction includes packages/nodes-base/nodes/Elastic/Elasticsearch/GenericFunctions.ts and the missing toPathSegment encoding. This issue is fixed in versions 1.123.76, 2.37.7 and 2.38.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-87727 | 1 Appleple | 1 A-blog Cms | 2026-09-11 | N/A |
| a-blog cms Ver. 3.2.33 and earlier contains a path traversal vulnerability, which allows an unauthenticated attacker to read or delete arbitrary files on the affected product. | ||||
| CVE-2026-66898 | 1 Canonical | 1 Lxd | 2026-09-11 | 9.9 Critical |
| A path traversal vulnerability in LXD allows an attacker to manipulate file system paths during backup import and restore operations. When importing or restoring a backup archive, LXD fails to validate instance and storage volume names contained within the archive metadata. An attacker can exploit this flaw by supplying a crafted backup archive with malicious instance or volume names containing path traversal sequences, potentially allowing file access or overwriting outside the designated restore directory. | ||||
| CVE-2026-66897 | 1 Canonical | 1 Lxd | 2026-09-11 | 9.9 Critical |
| A path traversal vulnerability in LXD's instance template processing allows an attacker with container edit permissions, or any user launching a crafted image, to overwrite arbitrary files on the host system as root. When processing target template paths specified in metadata.yaml, LXD validates the path against a confined os.Root directory handle but subsequently opens and creates the file using os.Create with an unconfined string path. This discrepancy between path resolution checks and file creation allows an attacker to escape directory confinement, overwrite root-owned host files, and achieve host root code execution. | ||||
| CVE-2026-77091 | 1 Commvault | 1 Commvault | 2026-09-11 | 7.8 High |
| DataCube contained a path traversal issue affecting security feature enforcement. Software customers upgrade to resolved maintenance release. Update Content Extractor and Index Store. | ||||
| CVE-2026-84939 | 1 Apache | 1 Freemarker | 2026-09-11 | 9.1 Critical |
| Path traversal vulnerability in Apache FreeMarker template loading mechanism, if the attacker can specify an arbitrary malformed locale identifier to FreeMarker, and the localized lookup configuration setting is enabled (it's by default enabled). This issue affects Apache FreeMarker from 2.2.0 through 2.3.34. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.3.35. Disabling localized lookup in previous versions also mitigates this. Note that even in versions affected by this vulnerability, the files that can be loaded remain restricted by the TemplateLoader that FreeMarker is configured to use. In particular, FileTemplateLoader prevents attempts to traverse outside the baseDir specified in its constructor. Other TemplateLoader implementations may allow access outside their designated base directory, but they are still constrained by the underlying storage mechanism—for example, a loader wrapping a Java class loader can only access resources that the class loader can load, while one wrapping a web application context can only access resources available through that context. | ||||
| CVE-2026-9166 | 1 Gis Informatics | 1 Gislab Laboratory Management System | 2026-09-11 | 7.5 High |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in GIS Informatics GisLab Laboratory Management System allows Path Traversal. This issue affects GisLab Laboratory Management System: from 1.4.03 before 1.5. | ||||
| CVE-2026-88937 | 1 Knowns-dev | 1 Knowns | 2026-09-11 | 8.8 High |
| knowns through 0.33.0 fails to properly validate template destination paths in the code generation template engine, allowing attackers to read and write arbitrary files outside the project root. Attackers can supply malicious templates that traverse directories to overwrite shell profiles, steal credentials, or achieve persistent code execution on victim systems. | ||||
| CVE-2026-88940 | 1 Knowns-dev | 1 Knowns | 2026-09-11 | 5.3 Medium |
| knowns through 0.33.0 fails to validate the path query parameter in the workspace browse endpoint, allowing remote attackers to enumerate arbitrary directories on the host filesystem. Attackers can traverse the directory structure to locate project directories and identify targets for further exploitation. | ||||
| CVE-2026-49836 | 1 Psd-tools | 1 Psd-tools | 2026-09-11 | N/A |
| psd-tools is a Python package for working with Adobe Photoshop PSD files. Prior to version 1.17.1, `SmartObject.save()` writes an embedded smart object to a path taken verbatim from the PSD file. Because that name is attacker-controlled and unsanitised, a tool that extracts embedded objects from an untrusted `.psd` can be made to write attacker-chosen bytes to an attacker-chosen path (absolute or `../`-traversing), outside its intended output directory. A secondary issue in `SmartObject.open()` for external-kind smart objects allows the attacker-controlled `fullPath` descriptor to be used as an arbitrary file read path, enabling exfiltration of the read content to the controlled write destination. Both issues are fixed in v1.17.1. | ||||
| CVE-2026-53581 | 1 Opnsense | 1 Core | 2026-09-11 | 9 Critical |
| OPNsense is a FreeBSD based firewall and routing platform. Prior to version 26.1.9 of opnsense/core and version 26.4_20 of BE/opnsense/core, a path traversal vulnerability in the NTP configuration module allows an attacker to overwrite arbitrary files on the system as the root user. By manipulating the GPS or PPS serial port parameter, an attacker with access to the NTP configuration can escape the intended directory and force the system to write user-controlled data to any file on the filesystem. Version 26.1.9 of opnsense/core and version 26.4_20 of BE/opnsense/core patch the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2026-19303 | 5 Apple, Ibm, Langflow and 2 more | 5 Macos, Langflow Oss, Langflow and 2 more | 2026-09-10 | 8.1 High |
| IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.11.2 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to delete arbitrary local files or directories due to improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory. | ||||
| CVE-2026-17621 | 5 Apple, Ibm, Langflow and 2 more | 5 Macos, Langflow Oss, Langflow and 2 more | 2026-09-10 | 5.4 Medium |
| IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.10.2 could allow a remote attacker to traverse directories on the system. An attacker could send a specially crafted URL request containing "dot dot " sequences ( /.. /) to view arbitrary files on the system. | ||||
| CVE-2026-86995 | 1 N8n | 1 N8n | 2026-09-10 | 4.3 Medium |
| n8n is an open source workflow automation platform. Prior to 1.123.76, 2.37.7, and 2.38.2, the Git node validated the repository parameter for fetch or pull, but setUpstream wrote a branch..remote value into repository configuration without validating it. A later fetch or pull resolved the remote from that configuration instead of the checked parameter. An authenticated workflow editor could therefore point Git at any local repository readable by the n8n process and receive its contents through packages/nodes-base/nodes/Git/GenericFunctions.ts. This issue is fixed in versions 1.123.76, 2.37.7 and 2.38.2. | ||||
| CVE-2026-53956 | 1 Conda | 2 Py-rattler, Rattler | 2026-09-10 | 5.4 Medium |
| Rattler is a library that provides common functionality used within the conda ecosystem. `rattler_cache` prior to version 0.9.0 and `py-rattler` prior to version 0.24.0 were vulnerable to package-cache path traversal when handling package metadata from conda channels. During cache materialization, the `ratter_cache` code used the package record `build` string as part of a cache key that was joined into a filesystem path. A malicious or untrusted channel could publish repodata with path separators or traversal components in that field, causing package contents to be written outside the configured package cache directory. The issue requires use of a malicious or otherwise untrusted conda channel. Curated channels that validate package metadata are not expected to allow malformed build strings of this form. Users should upgrade to `rattler_cache` version 0.9.0 or `py-rattler` version 0.24.0 and avoid untrusted conda channels. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18386 | 2 Cssimmon, Wordpress | 2 Wp Backitup Community Edition, Wordpress | 2026-09-10 | 4.9 Medium |
| The WP BackItUp Community Edition plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 2.1.0 via the 'backup_file' parameter parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. The basename() normalization present in the handler only executes when the traversed target path does not exist, providing no protection against reads of existing files. | ||||
| CVE-2026-15019 | 2 Kamalyon, Wordpress | 2 Direct Download For Woocommerce, Wordpress | 2026-09-10 | 7.5 High |
| The Direct Download for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 1.19 via the (top-level include) function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. The product ownership check only verifies that some free, virtual, downloadable product exists on the site — not that the requested file path belongs to that product's configured downloads — making exploitation viable on any WooCommerce site with at least one such product. | ||||
| CVE-2026-87535 | 2 Apple, Google | 2 Macos, Chrome | 2026-09-10 | 6.5 Medium |
| Information loss or omission in Safebrowsing in Google Chrome on on Mac prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker to bypass system access restrictions via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) | ||||
| CVE-2026-88790 | 1 Proma-ai | 1 Proma | 2026-09-10 | 4.8 Medium |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in proma-ai Proma up to 0.19.37. Affected is the function resolveTargetPath of the file apps/electron/src/main/lib/file-preview-service.ts of the component File Preview Service. Such manipulation of the argument file_path leads to path traversal. Local access is required to approach this attack. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. Upgrading to version 0.19.52 is able to address this issue. The name of the patch is b7bf78ab74b1552c92fc98c7db9a8a8d92c631df. It is suggested to upgrade the affected component. The PoC's candidateBasePaths parameter name does not match the current IPC API (0.19.52 uses FileAccessOptions with internal getPreviewCandidateBasePaths()). The reporter likely targeted 0.16.3 where the IPC handler accepted raw string[] base paths. The core vulnerability - basename-collision fallback - is independent of the parameter name and is confirmed in source. | ||||
| CVE-2026-86258 | 1 Jupyter | 1 Nbviewer | 2026-09-10 | 5.9 Medium |
| nbviewer through 1.0.1 contains a path traversal vulnerability in LocalFileHandler.can_show() that uses string-prefix comparison instead of proper path validation. Attackers can read files from sibling directories outside the configured root by requesting paths that share the root as a textual prefix, disclosing unintended notebooks and credentials. | ||||
