| CVE-2026-101302 | 1 Freebsd | 1 Freebsd | 2026-10-16 | 6.5 Medium |
| TLS 1.3 embeds the actual record type as the last non-zero byte of the decrypted payload, optionally followed by zero padding. The code which searches for the inner record type had an off-by-one bug which could be triggered by an invalid frame, leading to an underflow followed by an unconditional NULL pointer dereference, causing a kernel panic. A remote TLS 1.3 peer can send a specially crafted record to trigger a kernel panic, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). | ||||
| CVE-2026-101307 | 1 Freebsd | 1 Freebsd | 2026-10-16 | N/A |
| When the PCM sample array needs to grow, the RACK stack doubles a 16-bit allocation counter. Repeated doublings caused the counter to wrap to zero, resulting in a near-zero-length allocation followed by a copy of the existing samples into the undersized buffer. A remote peer can trigger the expansion by sending a sufficient number of ACKs on an established connection. A remote attacker who can establish a TCP connection to a system using the RACK stack can trigger an out-of-bounds write of approximately 512 KB in the kernel heap possibly resulting in a kernel panic. | ||||
| CVE-2026-101308 | 1 Freebsd | 1 Freebsd | 2026-10-16 | 5.5 Medium |
| When an audio channel's buffer needs to be resized, the sound(4) driver checks that the buffer is not memory-mapped and then drops the channel lock to allocate a new buffer. An mmap(2) call on another thread can complete during this window, after which the resize path frees the now-mapped buffer without rechecking. An unprivileged local user with access to a sound device can exploit this race to trigger a use-after-free in the kernel, potentially escalating privileges. | ||||
| CVE-2026-102469 | 2026-10-16 | N/A | ||
| In Eclipse Vert.x versions [4.0.0, 4.5.34] or [5.0.0,5.0.12] or [5.1.0,5.1.9] or [5.2.0, 5.2.0], the Vert.x DB2 client (vertx-db2-client) contains DRDA protocol handling code that deserializes User Defined Type (UDT) column data using a bare ObjectInputStream.readObject() call with no ObjectInputFilter or class allowlist. This code path is triggered when a DRDA server sends a result set with a column tagged as UDT (FDOCA protocol LID 0x50). However, DB2 does not support this type of UDT. The FDOCA 0x50 type is never sent by a legitimate DB2 server. Nevertheless, a malicious or man-in-the-middle DRDA server could craft a response with a 0x50-tagged column, causing the client to deserialize arbitrary attacker-controlled bytes on the Vert.x event loop before any application code can inspect or reject the data. If a Java deserialization gadget chain is present on the application's classpath, this enables remote code execution. Without a gadget chain, denial of service is possible via crafted object graphs. TLS is disabled by default, making man-in-the-middle exploitation feasible. The impacted component is io.vertx:vertx-db2-client. | ||||
| CVE-2026-0320 | 1 Palo Alto Networks | 3 Cloud Ngfw, Pan-os, Prisma Access | 2026-10-16 | N/A |
| A command injection vulnerability in Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS® software enables an authenticated administrator to bypass system restrictions and run arbitrary commands as a root user. To be able to exploit this issue, the user must have access to the PAN-OS management interface. The security risk posed by this issue is significantly minimized by restricting access to the management interface to only trusted internal IP addresses according to our recommended best practice deployment guidelines https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/community-blogs/tips-amp-tricks-how-to-secure-the-management-access-of-your-palo/ba-p/464431 . This issue is applicable to PAN-OS software on PA-Series and VM-Series firewalls and on Panorama (virtual and M-Series). Cloud NGFW and Prisma® Access are not affected by this vulnerability. | ||||
| CVE-2026-101304 | 1 Freebsd | 1 Freebsd | 2026-10-16 | N/A |
| When fdescfs(4) was mounted in a jail with the "nodup" option, opening /dev/fd/N returned a descriptor that did not inherit FD_RESOLVE_BENEATH or the Capsicum capability rights of descriptor N. A process in a jail that has received a directory file descriptor from another jail can use these techniques to escape the jail's filesystem root restriction. | ||||
| CVE-2026-101305 | 1 Freebsd | 1 Freebsd | 2026-10-16 | 8.8 High |
| renameat(2) did not enforce FD_RESOLVE_BENEATH on its directory arguments. A jailed process could rename a directory relative to a restricted descriptor, then escape the jail root via fchdir(2). This requires the directory to reside on a filesystem that is also reachable from the jail's root. A process in a jail that has received a directory file descriptor from another jail can use these techniques to escape the jail's filesystem root restriction. | ||||
| CVE-2026-17591 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird | 2026-10-16 | 3.6 Low |
| A flaw was found in libarchive. An attacker can cause a Denial of Service (DoS) or potential information disclosure due to a use-after-free vulnerability, which occurs when a program reads memory that has already been released. This issue arises when the archive_entry_copy_mac_metadata() function deallocates an internal buffer before completing a data copy. An attacker who can supply input to an application utilizing this function can trigger the flaw to crash the application or read uninitialized memory data. | ||||
| CVE-2026-102461 | 2026-10-16 | 7.5 High | ||
| In Eclipse Vert.x versions [4.0.0, 4.5.34] or [5.0.0,5.0.12] or [5.1.0,5.1.9] or [5.2.0, 5.2.0], the uniqueItems keyword validation uses an O(n²) pairwise comparison loop with no short-circuit or size limit. A remote unauthenticated attacker can submit a moderately-sized JSON array that consumes disproportionate CPU time, leading to denial of service. The impacted component is io.vertx:vertx-json-schema. The following Vert.x modules depend on vertx-json-schema and are also affected: io.vertx:vertx-web-openapi-router io.vertx:vertx-web-validation io.vertx:vertx-openapi | ||||
| CVE-2026-110726 | 2026-10-16 | 6.5 Medium | ||
| In `api-gateway` versions till `1.7.3`, The default rate-limit key resolver, `ClientIpKeyResolver`, derives the per-client bucket key from the leftmost element of the `X-Forwarded-For` request header. That element is supplied by the originating HTTP client and is not validated against any trusted-proxy list. A single attacker can therefore obtain an unlimited number of independent rate-limit buckets — one per unique header value — and completely bypass the gateway's request-rate limiting on every route that uses the shipped default configuration. | ||||

| CVE-2026-101337 | 1 Nlnetlabs | 1 Nsd | 2026-10-16 | N/A |
| When base64 data is split up in pieces, of 3 character or less, tokens were incorrectly calculated to produce 0 bytes. This enables attackers to overwrite the stack with up to 64K of attacker controlled data. Zone files which are written out by NSD itself, such as for zones for which the NSD instance is secondary, will not be formatted like this. The zone file must be fed to NSD directly, (but it could come, for example, from an operator controlled provisioning system). | ||||
| CVE-2026-101338 | 1 Nlnetlabs | 1 Nsd | 2026-10-16 | N/A |
| When a SVCB or HTTPS RR has filled the wire format RDATA up to the brim, another ECH parameter may overwrite the stack, and once beyond the limit, the base64 decoder can write attacker controlled data of unlimited size. Zone files which are written out by NSD itself, such as for zones for which the NSD instance is secondary, will not be formatted like this. The zone file must be fed to NSD directly, (but it could come, for example, from an operator controlled provisioning system). | ||||
