| CVE-2025-30207 | 1 Getkirby | 1 Kirby | 2025-08-26 | 7.5 High |
| Kirby is an open-source content management system. A vulnerability in versions prior to 3.9.8.3, 3.10.1.2, and 4.7.1 affects all Kirby setups that use PHP's built-in server. Such setups are commonly only used during local development. Sites that use other server software (such as Apache, nginx or Caddy) are not affected. A missing path traversal check allowed attackers to navigate all files on the server that were accessible to the PHP process, including files outside of the Kirby installation. The vulnerable implementation delegated all existing files to PHP, including existing files outside of the document root. This leads to a different response that allows attackers to determine whether the requested file exists. Because Kirby's router only delegates such requests to PHP and does not load or execute them, contents of the files were not exposed as PHP treats requests to files outside of the document root as invalid. The problem has been patched in Kirby 3.9.8.3, Kirby 3.10.1.2, and Kirby 4.7.1. In all of the mentioned releases, the maintainers of Kirby have updated the router to check if existing static files are within the document root. Requests to files outside the document root are treated as page requests of the error page and will no longer allow to determine whether the file exists or not. | ||||
| CVE-2024-52301 | 2 Debian, Laravel | 2 Debian Linux, Framework | 2025-08-26 | 7.5 High |
| Laravel is a web application framework. When the register_argc_argv php directive is set to on , and users call any URL with a special crafted query string, they are able to change the environment used by the framework when handling the request. The vulnerability fixed in 6.20.45, 7.30.7, 8.83.28, 9.52.17, 10.48.23, and 11.31.0. The framework now ignores argv values for environment detection on non-cli SAPIs. | ||||
| CVE-2024-53991 | 1 Discourse | 1 Discourse | 2025-08-26 | 7.5 High |
| Discourse is an open source platform for community discussion. This vulnerability only impacts Discourse instances configured to use `FileStore::LocalStore` which means uploads and backups are stored locally on disk. If an attacker knows the name of the Discourse backup file, the attacker can trick nginx into sending the Discourse backup file with a well crafted request. This issue is patched in the latest stable, beta and tests-passed versions of Discourse. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade can either 1. Download all local backups on to another storage device, disable the `enable_backups` site setting and delete all backups until the site has been upgraded to pull in the fix. Or 2. Change the `backup_location` site setting to `s3` so that backups are stored and downloaded directly from S3. | ||||

This issue has been addressed in version 3.2.12 and all users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
| CVE-2025-40566 | 1 Siemens | 1 Simatic Pcs Neo | 2025-08-22 | 8.8 High |
| A vulnerability has been identified in SIMATIC PCS neo V4.1 (All versions < V4.1 Update 3), SIMATIC PCS neo V5.0 (All versions < V5.0 Update 1). Affected products do not correctly invalidate user sessions upon user logout. This could allow a remote unauthenticated attacker, who has obtained the session token by other means, to re-use a legitimate user's session even after logout. | ||||

The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
| CVE-2025-21611 | 1 Tgstation13 | 1 Tgstation-server | 2025-08-19 | 8.8 High |
| tgstation-server is a production scale tool for BYOND server management. Prior to 6.12.3, roles used to authorize API methods were incorrectly OR'd instead of AND'ed with the role used to determine if a user was enabled. This allows enabled users access to most, but not all, authorized actions regardless of their permissions. Notably, the WriteUsers right is unaffected so users may not use this bug to permanently elevate their account permissions. The fix is release in tgstation-server-v6.12.3. | ||||
| CVE-2025-27423 | 2 Netapp, Vim | 2 Hci Compute Node, Vim | 2025-08-18 | 7.1 High |
| Vim is an open source, command line text editor. Vim is distributed with the tar.vim plugin, that allows easy editing and viewing of (compressed or uncompressed) tar files. Starting with 9.1.0858, the tar.vim plugin uses the ":read" ex command line to append below the cursor position, however the is not sanitized and is taken literally from the tar archive. This allows to execute shell commands via special crafted tar archives. Whether this really happens, depends on the shell being used ('shell' option, which is set using $SHELL). The issue has been fixed as of Vim patch v9.1.1164 | ||||
| CVE-2024-52877 | 1 Insyde | 1 Insydeh2o | 2025-08-15 | 7.5 High |
| An issue was discovered in Insyde InsydeH2O kernel 5.2 before version 05.29.50, kernel 5.3 before version 05.38.50, kernel 5.4 before version 05.46.50, kernel 5.5 before version 05.54.50, kernel 5.6 before version 05.61.50, and kernel 5.7 before version 05.70.50. In VariableRuntimeDxe driver, callback function SmmCreateVariableLockList () calls CreateVariableLockListInSmm (). In CreateVariableLockListInSmm (), it uses StrSize () to get variable name size and it could lead to a buffer over-read. | ||||
| CVE-2024-52878 | 1 Insyde | 1 Insydeh2o | 2025-08-15 | 7.5 High |
| An issue was discovered in Insyde InsydeH2O kernel 5.2 before version 05.29.50, kernel 5.3 before version 05.38.50, kernel 5.4 before version 05.46.50, kernel 5.5 before version 05.54.50, kernel 5.6 before version 05.61.50, and kernel 5.7 before version 05.70.50. In VariableRuntimeDxe driver, VariableServicesSetVariable () can be called by gRT_>SetVariable () or the SmmSetSensitiveVariable () or SmmInternalSetVariable () from SMM. In VariableServicesSetVariable (), it uses StrSize () to get variable name size, uses StrLen () to get variable name length and uses StrCmp () to compare strings. These actions may cause a buffer over-read. | ||||

| CVE-2025-47950 | 1 Coredns.io | 1 Coredns | 2025-08-15 | 7.5 High |
| CoreDNS is a DNS server that chains plugins. In versions prior to 1.12.2, a Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability exists in the CoreDNS DNS-over-QUIC (DoQ) server implementation. The server previously created a new goroutine for every incoming QUIC stream without imposing any limits on the number of concurrent streams or goroutines. A remote, unauthenticated attacker could open a large number of streams, leading to uncontrolled memory consumption and eventually causing an Out Of Memory (OOM) crash — especially in containerized or memory-constrained environments. The patch in version 1.12.2 introduces two key mitigation mechanisms: `max_streams`, which caps the number of concurrent QUIC streams per connection with a default value of `256`; and `worker_pool_size`, which Introduces a server-wide, bounded worker pool to process incoming streams with a default value of `1024`. This eliminates the 1:1 stream-to-goroutine model and ensures that CoreDNS remains resilient under high concurrency. Some workarounds are available for those who are unable to upgrade. Disable QUIC support by removing or commenting out the `quic://` block in the Corefile, use container runtime resource limits to detect and isolate excessive memory usage, and/or monitor QUIC connection patterns and alert on anomalies. | ||||
