| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/irdma: Cap MSIX used to online CPUs + 1 The irdma driver can use a maximum number of msix vectors equal to num_online_cpus() + 1 and the kernel warning stack below is shown if that number is exceeded. The kernel throws a warning as the driver tries to update the affinity hint with a CPU mask greater than the max CPU IDs. Fix this by capping the MSIX vectors to num_online_cpus() + 1. | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ethtool: Fix uninitialized number of lanes It is not possible to set the number of lanes when setting link modes using the legacy IOCTL ethtool interface. Since 'struct ethtool_link_ksettings' is not initialized in this path, drivers receive an uninitialized number of lanes in 'struct ethtool_link_ksettings::lanes'. When this information is later queried from drivers, it results in the ethtool code making decisions based on uninitialized memory, leading to the following KMSAN splat [1]. In practice, this most likely only happens with the tun driver that simply returns whatever it got in the set operation. As far as I can tell, this uninitialized memory is not leaked to user space thanks to the 'ethtool_ops->cap_link_lanes_supported' check in linkmodes_prepare_data(). Fix by initializing the structure in the IOCTL path. Did not find any more call sites that pass an uninitialized structure when calling 'ethtool_ops::set_link_ksettings()'. | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: md: fix warning for holder mismatch from export_rdev() Commit a1d767191096 ("md: use mddev->external to select holder in export_rdev()") fix the problem that 'claim_rdev' is used for blkdev_get_by_dev() while 'rdev' is used for blkdev_put(). However, if mddev->external is changed from 0 to 1, then 'rdev' is used for blkdev_get_by_dev() while 'claim_rdev' is used for blkdev_put(). | In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: erofs: kill hooked chains to avoid loops on deduplicated compressed images After heavily stressing EROFS with several images which include a hand-crafted image of repeated patterns for more than 46 days, I found two chains could be linked with each other almost simultaneously and form a loop so that the entire loop won't be submitted. As a consequence, the corresponding file pages will remain locked forever. It can be _only_ observed on data-deduplicated compressed images. For example, consider two chains with five pclusters in total: Chain 1: 2->3->4->5 -- The tail pcluster is 5; Chain 2: 5->1->2 -- The tail pcluster is 2. Chain 2 could link to Chain 1 with pcluster 5; and Chain 1 could link to Chain 2 at the same time with pcluster 2. Since hooked chains are all linked locklessly now, I have no idea how to simply avoid the race. Instead, let's avoid hooked chains completely until I could work out a proper way to fix this and end users finally tell us that it's needed to add it back. Actually, this optimization can be found with multi-threaded workloads (especially even more often on deduplicated compressed images), yet I'm not sure about the overall system impacts of not having this compared with implementation complexity. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix panic due to wrong pageattr of im->image In the scenario where livepatch and kretfunc coexist, the pageattr of im->image is rox after arch_prepare_bpf_trampoline in bpf_trampoline_update, and then modify_fentry or register_fentry returns -EAGAIN from bpf_tramp_ftrace_ops_func, the BPF_TRAMP_F_ORIG_STACK flag will be configured, and arch_prepare_bpf_trampoline will be re-executed. At this time, because the pageattr of im->image is rox, arch_prepare_bpf_trampoline will read and write im->image, which causes a fault. as follows: insmod livepatch-sample.ko # samples/livepatch/livepatch-sample.c bpftrace -e 'kretfunc:cmdline_proc_show {}' BUG: unable to handle page fault for address: ffffffffa0206000 PGD 322d067 P4D 322d067 PUD 322e063 PMD 1297e067 PTE d428061 Oops: 0003 [#1] PREEMPT SMP PTI CPU: 2 PID: 270 Comm: bpftrace Tainted: G E K 6.1.0 #5 RIP: 0010:arch_prepare_bpf_trampoline+0xed/0x8c0 RSP: 0018:ffffc90001083ad8 EFLAGS: 00010202 RAX: ffffffffa0206000 RBX: 0000000000000020 RCX: 0000000000000000 RDX: ffffffffa0206001 RSI: ffffffffa0206000 RDI: 0000000000000030 RBP: ffffc90001083b70 R08: 0000000000000066 R09: ffff88800f51b400 R10: 000000002e72c6e5 R11: 00000000d0a15080 R12: ffff8880110a68c8 R13: 0000000000000000 R14: ffff88800f51b400 R15: ffffffff814fec10 FS: 00007f87bc0dc780(0000) GS:ffff88803e600000(0000) knlGS:0000000000000000 CS: 0010 DS: 0000 ES: 0000 CR0: 0000000080050033 CR2: ffffffffa0206000 CR3: 0000000010b70000 CR4: 00000000000006e0 DR0: 0000000000000000 DR1: 0000000000000000 DR2: 0000000000000000 DR3: 0000000000000000 DR6: 00000000fffe0ff0 DR7: 0000000000000400 Call Trace: <TASK> bpf_trampoline_update+0x25a/0x6b0 __bpf_trampoline_link_prog+0x101/0x240 bpf_trampoline_link_prog+0x2d/0x50 bpf_tracing_prog_attach+0x24c/0x530 bpf_raw_tp_link_attach+0x73/0x1d0 __sys_bpf+0x100e/0x2570 __x64_sys_bpf+0x1c/0x30 do_syscall_64+0x5b/0x80 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x63/0xcd With this patch, when modify_fentry or register_fentry returns -EAGAIN from bpf_tramp_ftrace_ops_func, the pageattr of im->image will be reset to nx+rw. | ||||
| CVE-2022-50639 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: io-wq: Fix memory leak in worker creation If the CPU mask allocation for a node fails, then the memory allocated for the 'io_wqe' struct of the current node doesn't get freed on the error handling path, since it has not yet been added to the 'wqes' array. | CVE-2022-50636 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: Fix pci_device_is_present() for VFs by checking PF pci_device_is_present() previously didn't work for VFs because it reads the Vendor and Device ID, which are 0xffff for VFs, which looks like they aren't present. Check the PF instead. Wei Gong reported that if virtio I/O is in progress when the driver is unbound or "0" is written to /sys/.../sriov_numvfs, the virtio I/O operation hangs, which may result in output like this: task:bash state:D stack: 0 pid: 1773 ppid: 1241 flags:0x00004002 Call Trace: schedule+0x4f/0xc0 blk_mq_freeze_queue_wait+0x69/0xa0 blk_mq_freeze_queue+0x1b/0x20 blk_cleanup_queue+0x3d/0xd0 virtblk_remove+0x3c/0xb0 [virtio_blk] virtio_dev_remove+0x4b/0x80 ... device_unregister+0x1b/0x60 unregister_virtio_device+0x18/0x30 virtio_pci_remove+0x41/0x80 pci_device_remove+0x3e/0xb0 This happened because pci_device_is_present(VF) returned "false" in virtio_pci_remove(), so it called virtio_break_device(). The broken vq meant that vring_interrupt() skipped the vq.callback() that would have completed the virtio I/O operation via virtblk_done(). | CVE-2025-8869 | 1 Python | 2 Pip, Python | 2026-04-15 | 5.3 Medium |
| When extracting a tar archive pip may not check symbolic links point into the extraction directory if the tarfile module doesn't implement PEP 706. Note that upgrading pip to a "fixed" version for this vulnerability doesn't fix all known vulnerabilities that are remediated by using a Python version that implements PEP 706. Note that this is a vulnerability in pip's fallback implementation of tar extraction for Python versions that don't implement PEP 706 and therefore are not secure to all vulnerabilities in the Python 'tarfile' module. If you're using a Python version that implements PEP 706 then pip doesn't use the "vulnerable" fallback code. Mitigations include upgrading to a version of pip that includes the fix, upgrading to a Python version that implements PEP 706 (Python >=3.9.17, >=3.10.12, >=3.11.4, or >=3.12), applying the linked patch, or inspecting source distributions (sdists) before installation as is already a best-practice. | ||||
| CVE-2025-62515 | 1 Marsupialtail | 1 Quokka | 2026-04-15 | 9.8 Critical |
| pyquokka is a framework for making data lakes work for time series. In versions 0.3.1 and prior, the FlightServer class directly uses pickle.loads() to deserialize action bodies received from Flight clients without any sanitization or validation in the do_action() method. The vulnerable code is located in pyquokka/flight.py at line 283 where arbitrary data from Flight clients is directly passed to pickle.loads(). When FlightServer is configured to listen on 0.0.0.0, this allows attackers across the entire network to perform arbitrary remote code execution by sending malicious pickled payloads through the set_configs action. Additional vulnerability points exist in the cache_garbage_collect, do_put, and do_get functions where pickle.loads is used to deserialize untrusted remote data. | ||||
| CVE-2025-59100 | 1 Dormakaba | 1 Access Manager | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| The web interface offers a functionality to export the internal SQLite database. After executing the database export, an automatic download is started and the device reboots. After rebooting, the exported database is deleted and cannot be accessed anymore. However, it was noticed that sometimes the device does not reboot and therefore the exported database is not deleted, or the device reboots and the export is not deleted for unknown reasons. The path where the database export is located can be accessed without prior authentication. This leads to the fact that an attacker might be able to get access to the exported database without prior authentication. The database includes sensitive data like passwords, card pins, encrypted Mifare sitekeys and much more. | ||||
| CVE-2025-59098 | 1 Dormakaba | 1 Access Manager | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| The Access Manager is offering a trace functionality to debug errors and issues with the device. The trace functionality is implemented as a simple TCP socket. A tool called TraceClient.exe, provided by dormakaba via the Access Manager web interface, is used to connect to the socket and receive debug information. The data is permanently broadcasted on the TCP socket. The socket can be accessed without any authentication or encryption. The transmitted data is based on the set verbosity level. The verbosity level can be set using the http(s) endpoint with the service interface password or with the guessable identifier of the device via the SOAP interface. The transmitted data contains sensitive data like the Card ID as well as all button presses on Registration units. This allows an attacker with network level access to retrieve all entered PINs on a registration unit. | ||||
| CVE-2025-59097 | 1 Dormakaba | 1 Access Manager | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| The exos 9300 application can be used to configure Access Managers (e.g. 92xx, 9230 and 9290). The configuration is done in a graphical user interface on the dormakaba exos server. As soon as the save button is clicked in exos 9300, the whole configuration is sent to the selected Access Manager via SOAP. The SOAP request is sent without any prior authentication or authorization by default. Though authentication and authorization can be configured using IPsec for 92xx-K5 devices and mTLS for 92xx-K7 devices, it is not enabled by default and must therefore be activated with additional steps. This insecure default allows an attacker with network level access to completely control the whole environment. An attacker is for example easily able to conduct the following tasks without prior authentication: - Re-configure Access Managers (e.g. remove alarming system requirements) - Freely re-configure the inputs and outputs - Open all connected doors permanently - Open all doors for a defined time interval - Change the admin password - and many more Network level access can be gained due to an insufficient network segmentation as well as missing LAN firewalls. Devices with an insecure configuration have been identified to be directly exposed to the internet. | ||||
| CVE-2025-59095 | 1 Dormakaba | 1 Kaba Exos 9300 | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| The program libraries (DLL) and binaries used by exos 9300 contain multiple hard-coded secrets. One notable example is the function "EncryptAndDecrypt" in the library Kaba.EXOS.common.dll. This algorithm uses a simple XOR encryption technique combined with a cryptographic key (cryptoKey) to transform each character of the input string. However, it's important to note that this implementation does not provide strong encryption and should not be considered secure for sensitive data. It's more of a custom encryption approach rather than a common algorithm used in cryptographic applications. The key itself is static and based on the founder's name of the company. The functionality is for example used to encrypt the user PINs before storing them in the MSSQL database. | ||||
| CVE-2025-24376 | 2026-04-15 | 6.5 Medium | ||
| kubewarden-controller is a Kubernetes controller that allows you to dynamically register Kubewarden admission policies. By design, AdmissionPolicy and AdmissionPolicyGroup can evaluate only namespaced resources. The resources to be evaluated are determined by the rules provided by the user when defining the policy. There might be Kubernetes namespaced resources that should not be validated by AdmissionPolicy and by the AdmissionPolicyGroup policies because of their sensitive nature. For example, PolicyReport are namespaced resources that contain the list of non compliant objects found inside of a namespace. An attacker can use either an AdmissionPolicy or an AdmissionPolicyGroup to prevent the creation and update of PolicyReport objects to hide non-compliant resources. Moreover, the same attacker might use a mutating AdmissionPolicy to alter the contents of the PolicyReport created inside of the namespace. Starting from the 1.21.0 release, the validation rules applied to AdmissionPolicy and AdmissionPolicyGroup have been tightened to prevent them from validating sensitive types of namespaced resources. | ||||
| CVE-2025-1701 | 2026-04-15 | N/A | ||
| CVE-2025-1701 is a high-severity vulnerability in the MIM Admin service. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted request over the RMI interface to execute arbitrary code with the privileges of the MIM Admin service. The RMI interface is only accessible locally (listening on 127.0.0.1), limiting the attack vector to the local machine. This means that in a properly configured hospital environment, an attacker must have already compromised the network and additionally compromised the system where the MIM Admin service is running. From there, attackers with sufficient knowledge of MIM's implementation, library usage, and functionality with access to extend the MIM RMI library could force the MIM Admin service to run commands on the local machine with its privileges. Users of MIM Software products exposed via RDP or multi-user application virtualization system should take note that the system being exposed is the environment hosting the virtualized MIM client. This issue affects MIM Admin Service: before 7.2.13, 7.3.8, 7.4.3 | ||||
