| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: refscale: Fix uninitalized use of wait_queue_head_t Running the refscale test occasionally crashes the kernel with the following error: [ 8569.952896] BUG: unable to handle page fault for address: ffffffffffffffe8 [ 8569.952900] #PF: supervisor read access in kernel mode [ 8569.952902] #PF: error_code(0x0000) - not-present page [ 8569.952904] PGD c4b048067 P4D c4b049067 PUD c4b04b067 PMD 0 [ 8569.952910] Oops: 0000 [#1] PREEMPT_RT SMP NOPTI [ 8569.952916] Hardware name: Dell Inc. PowerEdge R750/0WMWCR, BIOS 1.2.4 05/28/2021 [ 8569.952917] RIP: 0010:prepare_to_wait_event+0x101/0x190 : [ 8569.952940] Call Trace: [ 8569.952941] <TASK> [ 8569.952944] ref_scale_reader+0x380/0x4a0 [refscale] [ 8569.952959] kthread+0x10e/0x130 [ 8569.952966] ret_from_fork+0x1f/0x30 [ 8569.952973] </TASK> The likely cause is that init_waitqueue_head() is called after the call to the torture_create_kthread() function that creates the ref_scale_reader kthread. Although this init_waitqueue_head() call will very likely complete before this kthread is created and starts running, it is possible that the calling kthread will be delayed between the calls to torture_create_kthread() and init_waitqueue_head(). In this case, the new kthread will use the waitqueue head before it is properly initialized, which is not good for the kernel's health and well-being. The above crash happened here: static inline void __add_wait_queue(...) { : if (!(wq->flags & WQ_FLAG_PRIORITY)) <=== Crash here The offset of flags from list_head entry in wait_queue_entry is -0x18. If reader_tasks[i].wq.head.next is NULL as allocated reader_task structure is zero initialized, the instruction will try to access address 0xffffffffffffffe8, which is exactly the fault address listed above. This commit therefore invokes init_waitqueue_head() before creating the kthread. | ||||
| CVE-2025-68777 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Input: ti_am335x_tsc - fix off-by-one error in wire_order validation The current validation 'wire_order[i] > ARRAY_SIZE(config_pins)' allows wire_order[i] to equal ARRAY_SIZE(config_pins), which causes out-of-bounds access when used as index in 'config_pins[wire_order[i]]'. Since config_pins has 4 elements (indices 0-3), the valid range for wire_order should be 0-3. Fix the off-by-one error by using >= instead of > in the validation check. | ||||
| CVE-2025-68773 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: fsl-cpm: Check length parity before switching to 16 bit mode Commit fc96ec826bce ("spi: fsl-cpm: Use 16 bit mode for large transfers with even size") failed to make sure that the size is really even before switching to 16 bit mode. Until recently the problem went unnoticed because kernfs uses a pre-allocated bounce buffer of size PAGE_SIZE for reading EEPROM. But commit 8ad6249c51d0 ("eeprom: at25: convert to spi-mem API") introduced an additional dynamically allocated bounce buffer whose size is exactly the size of the transfer, leading to a buffer overrun in the fsl-cpm driver when that size is odd. Add the missing length parity verification and remain in 8 bit mode when the length is not even. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: qedf: Fix NULL dereference in error handling Smatch reported: drivers/scsi/qedf/qedf_main.c:3056 qedf_alloc_global_queues() warn: missing unwind goto? At this point in the function, nothing has been allocated so we can return directly. In particular the "qedf->global_queues" have not been allocated so calling qedf_free_global_queues() will lead to a NULL dereference when we check if (!gl[i]) and "gl" is NULL. | ||||

| CVE-2023-54276 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 7.0 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfsd: move init of percpu reply_cache_stats counters back to nfsd_init_net Commit f5f9d4a314da ("nfsd: move reply cache initialization into nfsd startup") moved the initialization of the reply cache into nfsd startup, but didn't account for the stats counters, which can be accessed before nfsd is ever started. The result can be a NULL pointer dereference when someone accesses /proc/fs/nfsd/reply_cache_stats while nfsd is still shut down. This is a regression and a user-triggerable oops in the right situation: - non-x86_64 arch - /proc/fs/nfsd is mounted in the namespace - nfsd is not started in the namespace - unprivileged user calls "cat /proc/fs/nfsd/reply_cache_stats" Although this is easy to trigger on some arches (like aarch64), on x86_64, calling this_cpu_ptr(NULL) evidently returns a pointer to the fixed_percpu_data. That struct looks just enough like a newly initialized percpu var to allow nfsd_reply_cache_stats_show to access it without Oopsing. Move the initialization of the per-net+per-cpu reply-cache counters back into nfsd_init_net, while leaving the rest of the reply cache allocations to be done at nfsd startup time. Kudos to Eirik who did most of the legwork to track this down. | ||||
| CVE-2024-37363 | 2026-04-15 | 6.5 Medium | ||
| The product does not perform an authorization check when an actor attempts to access a resource or perform an action. (CWE-862) Hitachi Vantara Pentaho Business Analytics Server versions before 10.2.0.0 and 9.3.0.8, including 8.3.x, do not correctly perform an authorization check in the data source management service. When access control checks are incorrectly applied, users can access data or perform actions that they should not be allowed to perform. This can lead to a wide range of problems, including information exposures and denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2023-54268 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: debugobjects: Don't wake up kswapd from fill_pool() syzbot is reporting a lockdep warning in fill_pool() because the allocation from debugobjects is using GFP_ATOMIC, which is (__GFP_HIGH | __GFP_KSWAPD_RECLAIM) and therefore tries to wake up kswapd, which acquires kswapd_wait::lock. Since fill_pool() might be called with arbitrary locks held, fill_pool() should not assume that acquiring kswapd_wait::lock is safe. Use __GFP_HIGH instead and remove __GFP_NORETRY as it is pointless for !__GFP_DIRECT_RECLAIM allocation. | ||||
| CVE-2025-68771 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ocfs2: fix kernel BUG in ocfs2_find_victim_chain syzbot reported a kernel BUG in ocfs2_find_victim_chain() because the `cl_next_free_rec` field of the allocation chain list (next free slot in the chain list) is 0, triggring the BUG_ON(!cl->cl_next_free_rec) condition in ocfs2_find_victim_chain() and panicking the kernel. To fix this, an if condition is introduced in ocfs2_claim_suballoc_bits(), just before calling ocfs2_find_victim_chain(), the code block in it being executed when either of the following conditions is true: 1. `cl_next_free_rec` is equal to 0, indicating that there are no free chains in the allocation chain list 2. `cl_next_free_rec` is greater than `cl_count` (the total number of chains in the allocation chain list) Either of them being true is indicative of the fact that there are no chains left for usage. This is addressed using ocfs2_error(), which prints the error log for debugging purposes, rather than panicking the kernel. | ||||

| CVE-2024-37361 | 1 Hitachi | 1 Vantara Pentaho Business Analytics Server | 2026-04-15 | 9.9 Critical |
| The application deserializes untrusted data without sufficiently verifying that the resulting data will be valid. (CWE-502) Hitachi Vantara Pentaho Business Analytics Server versions before 10.2.0.0 and 9.3.0.9, including 8.3.x, deserialize untrusted JSON data without constraining the parser to approved classes and methods. When developers place no restrictions on "gadget chains," or series of instances and method invocations that can self-execute during the deserialization process (i.e., before the object is returned to the caller), it is sometimes possible for attackers to leverage them to perform unauthorized actions. | ||||

| Hitachi Vantara Pentaho Business Analytics Server - Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') The software does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralize user-controllable input before it is placed in output that is used as a web page that is served to other users. (CWE-79) Hitachi Vantara Pentaho Business Analytics Server prior to versions 10.2.0.0 and 9.3.0.9, including 8.3.x, allow a malicious URL to inject content into the Analyzer plugin interface. Once the malicious script is injected, the attacker can perform a variety of malicious activities. The attacker could transfer private information, such as cookies that may include session information, from the victim's machine to the attacker. The attacker could send malicious requests to a web site on behalf of the victim, which could be especially dangerous to the site if the victim has administrator privileges to manage that site. | ||||

| CVE-2025-68767 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: hfsplus: Verify inode mode when loading from disk syzbot is reporting that S_IFMT bits of inode->i_mode can become bogus when the S_IFMT bits of the 16bits "mode" field loaded from disk are corrupted. According to [1], the permissions field was treated as reserved in Mac OS 8 and 9. According to [2], the reserved field was explicitly initialized with 0, and that field must remain 0 as long as reserved. Therefore, when the "mode" field is not 0 (i.e. no longer reserved), the file must be S_IFDIR if dir == 1, and the file must be one of S_IFREG/S_IFLNK/S_IFCHR/ S_IFBLK/S_IFIFO/S_IFSOCK if dir == 0. | ||||
| CVE-2024-37359 | 1 Hitachi | 1 Vantara Pentaho Business Analytics Server | 2026-04-15 | 8.6 High |
| The web server receives a URL or similar request from an upstream component and retrieves the contents of this URL, but it does not sufficiently ensure that the request is being sent to the expected destination. (CWE-918) Hitachi Vantara Pentaho Business Analytics Server versions before 10.2.0.0 and 9.3.0.9, including 8.3.x, do not validate the Host header of incoming HTTP/HTTPS requests. By providing URLs to unexpected hosts or ports, attackers can make it appear that the server is sending the request, possibly bypassing access controls such as firewalls that prevent the attackers from accessing the URLs directly. The server can be used as a proxy to conduct port scanning of hosts in internal networks, use other URLs such as that can access documents on the system (using file://), or use other protocols such as gopher:// or tftp://, which may provide greater control over the contents of requests. | ||||
