CVE-2026-74544 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-21 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/sched: cls_u32: validate offshift to prevent shift-out-of-bounds u32_change() copies the user-provided tc_u32_sel.offshift (unsigned char, 0-255) into the kernel knode object without bounds validation. When a packet later hits u32_classify() with TC_U32_VAROFFSET set, it evaluates `ntohs(offmask & *data) >> offshift` where the left operand is a 16-bit value promoted to a 32-bit int. Any offshift >= 32 is undefined behavior per C11 6.5.7p3, triggerable by an unprivileged user via user/network namespaces. UBSAN: shift-out-of-bounds in net/sched/cls_u32.c:236:43 shift exponent 32 is too large for 32-bit type int Fix this by rejecting offshift >= 16 during filter creation in u32_change().
CVE-2026-74039 1 Wazuh 1 Wazuh-manager 2026-08-21 6.5 Medium
Wazuh 4.0.0 before 4.14.7 and 5.0.0-beta2 contain a denial of service vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers with allow_run_as enabled to exhaust CPU resources by submitting arbitrarily deeply nested JSON structures to the POST /security/user/authenticate/run_as endpoint. Attackers can repeatedly submit malformed auth_context bodies with unlimited nesting depth to cause the API framework to consume excessive CPU, denying service to all other API consumers.
CVE-2026-50142 1 Struktur 1 Libheif 2026-08-21 7.5 High
libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. From 1.19.0 until 1.23.0, a crafted HEIF sequence accepted by heif_context_read_from_memory() with the msf1 sequence brand can cause unbounded heap allocation. In libheif/sequences/seq_boxes.cc, Box_stsz::parse() applies max_sequence_frames only to variable-size samples, so fixed-size mode accepts an attacker-controlled sample_count without a bound. In libheif/sequences/track.cc, Track::load() also adds current_sample_idx and samples_per_chunk in 32-bit arithmetic, allowing the consistency check to be bypassed by wraparound. The resulting values reach the Chunk::Chunk() allocation path, which can consume gigabytes of memory and crash or stall the process through memory exhaustion. This issue is fixed in version 1.23.0.
CVE-2026-62289 1 Struktur 1 Libheif 2026-08-21 4.3 Medium
libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. In 1.23.0 and earlier, a crafted HEIF or AVIF file containing a clean aperture box can reduce an image dimension to zero and crash or corrupt tiling results when heif_image_handle_get_image_tiling(handle, 1, &tiling) is called. ImageItem::get_heif_image_tiling() returns already transformed dimensions, and process_image_transformations_on_tiling() applies the clean aperture transformation again. The second application passes zero to Box_clap::left_rounded(0), where image_width minus one underflows and constructs Fraction(0xFFFFFFFF, 2). Debug builds reach an assertion and abort, while release builds can return a corrupt crop and zero-width tiling result. The affected implementation spans libheif/image-items/image_item.cc, libheif/context.cc, and libheif/box.cc. This issue is fixed in version 1.23.1.
CVE-2026-74566 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: keys: make keyring key-chunk byte order agree with keyring_diff_objects() keyring_get_key_chunk() loads description bytes into the index chunk low address first, while keyring_diff_objects() numbers the first differing bit from the low end and folds the absolute byte index into the level without removing the inline-prefix offset the level already carries. The two disagree on byte order and bit position, so the array can be told two keys first differ at a bit that does not differ in the chunk the walker uses, letting crafted descriptions collide into one node. Load the chunk in the order keyring_diff_objects() assumes and drop the inline-prefix length when folding the byte index into the level. This only changes the in-memory ordering used to place keys within a keyring; add, search and read of non-colliding keys are unaffected.
CVE-2026-62291 1 Struktur 1 Libheif 2026-08-21 5.3 Medium
libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. In 1.23.0 and earlier, a crafted image sequence with a 2x2 primary plane and a 256x256 auxiliary alpha plane can cause attacker-controlled heap corruption during a normal decode and re-encode workflow. Track_Visual::decode_next_image_sample() calls transfer_channel_from_image_as() without checking that the auxiliary alpha dimensions match the main frame. The resulting inconsistent image reaches heif_track_decode_next_image() and then heif_context_encode_image(). In unc_encoder::encode(), unc_encoder_component_interleave::encode_tile() sizes its buffer with compute_tile_data_size_bytes() using the primary dimensions but copies each component using its actual plane dimensions. The oversized alpha plane is therefore copied beyond the allocation, causing an out-of-bounds write; the inverse size mismatch can also produce an out-of-bounds read. This issue is fixed in version 1.23.1.
CVE-2026-66613 2 Crocoblock, Wordpress 2 Jetengine, Wordpress 2026-08-21 9.8 Critical
Unauthenticated Remote Code Execution (RCE) in JetEngine <= 3.8.14 versions.
CVE-2026-18356 2 Limit Login Attempts Project, Wordpress 2 Limit Login Attempts, Wordpress 2026-08-21 3.7 Low
The Limit Login Attempts Reloaded WordPress plugin before 3.3.5 does not compare logins against its username denylist case-insensitively and does not account for the account's email address, allowing an account an administrator intended to block from logging in to authenticate anyway.
CVE-2026-75900 1 Redhat 1 Enterprise Linux 2026-08-21 6.1 Medium
An out-of-bounds read vulnerability was found in swtpm's SWTPM_NVRAM_CheckHeader() function. The entry guard checks the buffer length against sizeof(bh), where bh is a pointer, instead of sizeof(*bh), the actual struct size. This allows an undersized buffer to pass validation, causing a 2-byte heap overread on 64-bit systems (6 bytes on 32-bit) when accessing the totlen field. This may cause daemon termination on some platforms and leaks heap data to the log.
CVE-2026-72717 1 Orval-labs 1 Orval 2026-08-21 N/A
Orval generates type-safe JavaScript clients in TypeScript from OpenAPI v3 and Swagger v2 specifications. Prior to 8.21.0, a ${...} expression or backtick in a schema default is emitted into a module-level template literal emitted by zod schema generation without safe encoding. This permits attacker-controlled JavaScript to be evaluated when the generated zod schema module is imported, resulting in code execution in the developer, CI, test, or application environment. The affected code is packages/zod/src/index.ts function formatDefaultValue. This issue is fixed in version 8.21.0.
CVE-2026-62681 1 Orval-labs 1 Orval 2026-08-21 N/A
Orval generates type-safe JavaScript clients in TypeScript from OpenAPI v3 and Swagger v2 specifications. Prior to 8.21.0, an unescaped backtick in an OpenAPI path is emitted into request URL template literals generated for axios, fetch, react-query, and SWR clients without safe encoding. This permits attacker-controlled JavaScript to be evaluated when a generated request, URL-builder, or query-key function is called, resulting in code execution in the developer, CI, test, or application environment. The affected code is packages/core/src/getters/route.ts and route generation consumers. This issue is fixed in version 8.21.0.
CVE-2026-62673 1 Getgrav 1 Grav 2026-08-21 N/A
Grav is a file-based Web platform. Prior to 2.0.4, the Grav .htaccess and webserver-configs/htaccess.txt security rules omit the Apache [NC] flag and therefore compare sensitive directory and file-extension patterns case-sensitively. On a case-insensitive filesystem, an unauthenticated requester can use uppercase directory or extension variants to bypass the rules and retrieve files under user/accounts or user/config, including password hashes and security configuration. This issue is fixed in version 2.0.4.
CVE-2026-74532 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btintel: Validate length before parsing diagnostics TLV btintel_diagnostics() accesses tlv->val[0] without first validating that the diagnostics VSE is long enough to contain that field, so may cause reading data beyond the received frame. Fix by validating the length before access.
CVE-2026-74557 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-21 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: libiscsi: Fix stale-data leak into the SCSI sense buffer iscsi_scsi_cmd_rsp() copies the sense data of a SCSI Response from the target-supplied data segment. The segment carries a 2-byte sense length followed by the sense bytes, so it must hold 2 + senselen bytes, but the bounds check only requires datalen >= senselen: senselen = get_unaligned_be16(data); if (datalen < senselen) goto invalid_datalen; memcpy(sc->sense_buffer, data + 2, min_t(uint16_t, senselen, SCSI_SENSE_BUFFERSIZE)); A target that returns a SCSI Response whose datalen equals senselen (with senselen <= SCSI_SENSE_BUFFERSIZE) makes the memcpy() from data + 2 read up to two bytes past the received data. Those bytes are stale conn->data contents and end up in the command's sense buffer, which is returned to userspace. Account for the 2-byte sense length prefix in the check.
