CVSS v3.1 |
| A vulnerability was detected in ggml-org whisper.cpp up to 1.9.4. This affects the function whisper_model_load of the file src/whisper.cpp of the component Model Loader. Performing a manipulation of the argument ttype results in out-of-bounds read. The attack must be initiated from a local position. The exploit is now public and may be used. Upgrading to version 1.9.5 is able to mitigate this issue. The patch is named 60c0be6ac8fa71b1a2ae2dd938a31a34a508e774. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. The vendor was contacted early, responded in a very professional manner and quickly released a fixed version of the affected product. |
| A vulnerability was determined in OpenSIPS up to 3.6.8/4.0.1. The impacted element is the function rtpproxy_offer/rtpproxy_answer of the component rtpproxy. This manipulation causes out-of-bounds read. The attack may be initiated remotely. Upgrading to version 3.6.9 and 4.0.2 is sufficient to resolve this issue. It is advisable to upgrade the affected component. |
| A vulnerability was determined in Tiiny-AI PowerInfer up to 8bd56d69906c9d2dba4d3bf6899763401e01a9a4. Impacted is the function gguf_init_from_file of the file ggml.c of the component GGUF Parser. This manipulation of the argument data_offset causes out-of-bounds read. The attack requires local access. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. This product uses a rolling release model to deliver continuous updates. As a result, specific version information for affected or updated releases is not available. The pull request to fix this issue awaits acceptance. |
| A flaw was found in BlueZ. An out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in the btmon Bluetooth monitor tool when processing crafted HCI Return Link Keys events. A maliciously crafted btsnoop capture file can specify a large number of link keys that exceeds the actual packet data, causing btmon to read beyond the allocated buffer and crash. |
| Microsoft Office 2007 SP3, Office 2010 SP2, Office 2013 SP1, Office for Mac 2011, and Office 2016 for Mac allow remote attackers to obtain sensitive information from process memory or cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read) via a crafted document, aka "Microsoft Office Information Disclosure Vulnerability." |
| The Type_MLU_Read function in cmstypes.c in Little CMS (aka lcms2) allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information or cause a denial of service via an image with a crafted ICC profile, which triggers an out-of-bounds heap read. |
| Out-of-bounds read in Microsoft Office Access allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Out-of-bounds read in Microsoft Office Access allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information over a network. |
| A security vulnerability in HPE NonStop EXPAND may result in out-of-bounds memory read/write operations |
| A security vulnerability in HPE NonStop EXPAND may cause out-of-bounds memory read resulting in buffer overflow. |
| A security vulnerability in HPE NonStop EXPAND may result in out-of-bounds memory read. |
| A security vulnerability in HPE NonStop EXPAND may result in out-of-bounds memory read. |
| A heap-based out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in Foxit PDF Editor/Reader’s handling of malformed image soft-mask data. Insufficient validation of the soft-mask data attribute during image parsing may cause an arithmetic underflow, resulting in an out-of-bounds read and application crash. |
| A vulnerability has been found in OAID Tengine up to 1.12.0. This vulnerability affects the function get_tm_file_model of the file source/serializer/tmfile/tm2_serializer.c of the component tmfile Model Loader. Such manipulation of the argument offset_root leads to out-of-bounds read. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
s390/zcrypt: Improve CCA CPRB length and overflow checks
The xcrb_msg_to_type6cprb_msgx() function lacks proper input
validation, creating security vulnerabilities:
1. Integer overflow after CEIL4 alignment: Signed int variables could
overflow during 4-byte boundary alignment, causing undersized
buffer allocations or incorrect bounds checking.
2. Missing minimum size validation: The CPRBX structure is copied from
userspace without verifying sufficient buffer length. Undersized
buffers cause uninitialized memory access when reading structure
fields like cprbx.cprb_len and cprbx.domain.
3. Arithmetic overflow in sum calculations: Adding control block and
data block sizes could overflow, bypassing size checks and enabling
buffer overflows.
Fix by using size_t for length calculations, adding U32_MAX boundary
checks after alignment, validating minimum control block size before
copying from userspace, and detecting sum calculation overflows. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: mac80211: bound S1G TIM PVB walk to the TIM element
ieee80211_s1g_check_tim() parses the S1G Partial Virtual Bitmap (PVB) of a
received TIM element. The TIM is handed in as the element payload:
ieee802_11_parse_elems_full() stores elems->tim = elem->data and
elems->tim_len = elem->datalen (net/mac80211/parse.c), so the valid bytes
are [tim, tim + tim_len).
When walking the encoded blocks the function passes the walker an end
sentinel of (const u8 *)tim + tim_len + 2, i.e. two bytes past the end of
the element. ieee80211_s1g_find_target_block() loops while (ptr + 1 <= end)
and dereferences ptr (and the per-mode ieee80211_s1g_len_*() helpers read
*ptr), so it can read up to two bytes beyond the TIM element -- an
out-of-bounds read of adjacent skb/heap data when the TIM is the last
element in the frame. The +2 appears to account for the element id/len
header, but tim already points past that header at the element payload, so
the addend is wrong.
Pass the correct element end, (const u8 *)tim + tim_len. |
| Out-of-bounds read vulnerability in Citirx Citrix Workspace app for Windows.
This issue affects Citrix Workspace app for Windows: before 2603.20 CR, before LTSR 2607, and before LTSR 2507 CU3. |
| A vulnerability has been found in Netcore NR268 1.7.121109. This affects the function filter_arp_put_file_cgi of the file /router/filter_arp_put_file.cgi. The manipulation of the argument put_file leads to out-of-bounds read. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| Tinyexr through 3.2.0 contains a heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability in ParseEXRMultipartHeaderFromMemory() that allows attackers to read beyond buffers due to a stale remaining-size value. Attackers can supply a crafted multi-part EXR file whose later part headers bypass ReadAttribute() bounds checks, crashing applications or leaking adjacent heap memory into attribute values. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: MGMT: validate advertising TLV before type checks
tlv_data_is_valid() reads each advertising data field length from
data[i], then inspects data[i + 1] for managed EIR types before
checking that the current field still fits inside the supplied buffer.
A malformed field whose length byte is the last byte of the buffer can
therefore make the parser read one byte past the advertising data.
KASAN reported the following when a malformed MGMT_OP_ADD_ADVERTISING
request reached that path:
BUG: KASAN: vmalloc-out-of-bounds in tlv_data_is_valid()
Read of size 1
Call trace:
tlv_data_is_valid()
add_advertising()
hci_mgmt_cmd()
hci_sock_sendmsg()
Move the existing element-length check before any type-octet inspection
so each non-empty element is proven to contain its type byte before the
parser looks at data[i + 1]. |
