CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: virt_wifi: remove SET_NETDEV_DEV to avoid use-after-free
Currently we execute `SET_NETDEV_DEV(dev, &priv->lowerdev->dev)` for
the virt_wifi net devices. However, unregistering a virt_wifi device in
netdev_run_todo() can happen together with the device referenced by
SET_NETDEV_DEV().
It can result in use-after-free during the ethtool operations performed
on a virt_wifi device that is currently being unregistered. Such a net
device can have the `dev.parent` field pointing to the freed memory,
but ethnl_ops_begin() calls `pm_runtime_get_sync(dev->dev.parent)`.
Let's remove SET_NETDEV_DEV for virt_wifi to avoid bugs like this:

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
xfs: avoid dereferencing log items after push callbacks
After xfsaild_push_item() calls iop_push(), the log item may have been
freed if the AIL lock was dropped during the push. Background inode
reclaim or the dquot shrinker can free the log item while the AIL lock
is not held, and the tracepoints in the switch statement dereference
the log item after iop_push() returns.
Fix this by capturing the log item type, flags, and LSN before calling
xfsaild_push_item(), and introducing a new xfs_ail_push_class trace
event class that takes these pre-captured values and the ailp pointer
instead of the log item pointer. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net: correctly handle tunneled traffic on IPV6_CSUM GSO fallback
NETIF_F_IPV6_CSUM only advertises support for checksum offload of
packets without IPv6 extension headers. Packets with extension
headers must fall back onto software checksumming. Since TSO
depends on checksum offload, those must revert to GSO.
The below commit introduces that fallback. It always checks
network header length. For tunneled packets, the inner header length
must be checked instead. Extend the check accordingly.
A special case is tunneled packets without inner IP protocol. Such as
RFC 6951 SCTP in UDP. Those are not standard IPv6 followed by
transport header either, so also must revert to the software GSO path. |
| Improper Validation of Certificate with Host Mismatch vulnerability in Apache Thrift.
This issue affects Apache Thrift: before 0.23.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.23.0, which fixes the issue. |
| Improper neutralization of input during web page generation ('cross-site scripting') in Microsoft Office SharePoint allows an authorized attacker to perform spoofing over a network. |
| A vulnerability was found in Keycloak. A user with high privileges could read sensitive information from a Vault file that is not within the expected context. This attacker must have previous high access to the Keycloak server in order to perform resource creation, for example, an LDAP provider configuration and set up a Vault read file, which will only inform whether that file exists or not. |
| A security issue was discovered in ingress-nginx where the `nginx.ingress.kubernetes.io/rewrite-target` Ingress annotation can be used to inject configuration into nginx. This can lead to arbitrary code execution in the context of the ingress-nginx controller, and disclosure of Secrets accessible to the controller. (Note that in the default installation, the controller can access all Secrets cluster-wide.) |
| A vulnerability was found in the Keycloak-services package. If untrusted data is passed to the SearchQueryUtils method, it could lead to a denial of service (DoS) scenario by exhausting system resources due to a Regex complexity. |
| Redis is an in-memory data structure store. In all versions of redis-server with Lua scripting, an authenticated attacker can exploit the master-replica synchronization mechanism to trigger a use-after-free on replicas where replica-read-only is disabled or can be disabled, which may lead to remote code execution. A workaround is to prevent users from executing Lua scripts or avoid using replicas where replica-read-only is disabled. This is patched in version 8.6.3. |
| Loop with unreachable exit condition ('infinite loop') in .NET, .NET Framework, Visual Studio allows an unauthorized attacker to deny service over a network. |
| Stack-based buffer overflow in .NET and Visual Studio allows an unauthorized attacker to deny service over a network. |
| A flaw was found in FFmpeg’s ALS audio decoder, where it does not properly check for memory allocation failures. This can cause the application to crash when processing certain malformed audio files. While it does not lead to data theft or system control, it can be used to disrupt services and cause a denial of service. |
| PJSIP is a free and open source multimedia communication library written in C. When processing certain packets, PJSIP may incorrectly switch from using SRTP media transport to using basic RTP upon SRTP restart, causing the media to be sent insecurely. The vulnerability impacts all PJSIP users that use SRTP. The patch is available as commit d2acb9a in the master branch of the project and will be included in version 2.13. Users are advised to manually patch or to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
| A NULL pointer dereference in mod_dav_lock in Apache HTTP Server 2.4.66 and earlier may allow an attacker to crash the server with a malicious request.mod_dav_lock is not used internally by mod_dav or mod_dav_fs.
The only known use-case for mod_dav_lock was mod_dav_svn from Apache Subversion earlier than version 1.2.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.4.66, which fixes this issue, or remove mod_dav_lock. |
| An integer underflow in FRRouting (FRR) stable/10.0 to stable/10.6 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via supplying a crafted BGP UPDATE message. |
| PyJWT is a JSON Web Token implementation in Python. Prior to 2.12.0, PyJWT does not validate the crit (Critical) Header Parameter defined in RFC 7515 §4.1.11. When a JWS token contains a crit array listing extensions that PyJWT does not understand, the library accepts the token instead of rejecting it. This violates the MUST requirement in the RFC. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.12.0. |

| IEEE 802.11 protocol dissector crash in Wireshark 4.6.0 to 4.6.4 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drivers: media: dvb-frontends/rtl2832: fix an out-of-bounds write error
Ensure index in rtl2832_pid_filter does not exceed 31 to prevent
out-of-bounds access.
dev->filters is a 32-bit value, so set_bit and clear_bit functions should
only operate on indices from 0 to 31. If index is 32, it will attempt to
access a non-existent 33rd bit, leading to out-of-bounds access.
Change the boundary check from index > 32 to index >= 32 to resolve this
issue.
