| CVE-2026-102422 | 1 Ljharb | 1 Shell-quote | 2026-09-30 | 8.1 High |
| shell-quote's `quote()` function emits a `{ comment }` token as `#` followed by its text, which comments out the rest of the shell line, including the opening quote of any later string token. A line terminator (\n, \r, U+2028, U+2029) in that later string therefore ends the comment, and the rest of the string is parsed as shell input: `quote(['echo', 'ok', { comment: 'x' }, 'a\nid;#'])` runs `id` in sh, bash, dash, ksh and zsh. `parse()` emits a comment token for a `#` in the middle of a word (for example `http://example.com/#frag`), so callers that combine `parse()` output with another untrusted string, such as `quote(parse(untrustedCommand).concat(untrustedArg))`, are affected. The fix for CVE-2026-9277 rejected line terminators in the comment's own text, but not in the tokens after it. Fixed in 1.11.0: `quote()` throws a `TypeError` when a string after a `{ comment }` token contains a line terminator. | ||||
| CVE-2026-71972 | 2 Denx, U-boot | 2 U-boot, U-boot | 2026-09-30 | 5.9 Medium |
| U-Boot through 2026.10-rc5 contains an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the video_display_rle8_bitmap function in drivers/video/video_bmp.c. Attackers can supply a crafted RLE8-compressed BMP image to corrupt memory adjacent to the framebuffer and crash the bootloader. | ||||
| CVE-2026-102510 | 2026-09-30 | N/A | ||
| Integer Overflow, Improper Validation of Array Index, Uncontrolled Recursion and Memory Allocation with Excessive Size Value in the Go implementation of Apache PLC4X (PLC4Go) allow a malicious device, or an attacker able to inject network traffic, to crash or exhaust the memory of the client application, causing a denial of service. The individual defects are: - Generated parsers pre-allocate arrays with the element count claimed on the wire (0.13.0 through 0.13.1). - Transport read helpers allocate buffers of the size claimed on the wire without an upper bound. - ADS and KNXnet/IP response handling indexes into received data without checking its length, causing a panic. - ADS and EIP frame-length handling accepts, or arithmetically wraps to, a length of zero, breaking message framing. - Recursive protocol types are parsed without a nesting-depth limit. The same defect in the Java implementation is covered by CVE-2026-102509 https://cveprocess.apache.org/cve5/CVE-2026-102509 . Additionally, length and position arithmetic in generated serializers was performed in 16-bit integers. If an application forwards attacker-influenced payloads larger than 8 KB, the length field wraps, and the remainder of the payload may be interpreted by the receiving device (for example, an ADS PLC) as additional, independent protocol messages. This issue affects Apache PLC4X: from 0.11.0 before 1.0.0. PLC4Go is consumed as the Go module github.com/apache/plc4x/plc4go; versions refer to the corresponding Apache PLC4X releases. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.0.0, which fixes the issue. | ||||
| CVE-2026-102509 | 2026-09-30 | N/A | ||
| Memory Allocation with Excessive Size Value, Allocation of Resources Without Limits, and Uncontrolled Recursion in the Java implementation of Apache PLC4X (PLC4J) allow a malicious or impersonated device to exhaust the memory or stack of the client application, causing a denial of service. In the OPC UA driver these defects are reachable before authentication: the offending data is parsed while the secure channel and session are being established, before the server's identity has been bound to it. Configuring a trusted server therefore does not prevent exploitation by an attacker who can impersonate it. The individual defects are: - Length-prefixed byte strings are allocated at the size claimed on the wire before the length is checked against the data actually received (0.10.0 through 0.13.1). - Array fields in generated protocol parsers pre-allocate a list with the element count claimed on the wire, allowing a single count field to trigger a multi-gigabyte allocation. This parser is shared by all PLC4J drivers; the OPC UA driver is the verified pre-authentication path (0.10.0 through 0.13.1). - The OPC UA driver accumulates message chunks without enforcing the negotiated maximum chunk count and message size (0.12.0 through 0.13.1). - The OPC UA driver pre-allocates collections using element counts received from the server (0.10.0 through 0.13.1). - Recursive protocol types are parsed without a nesting-depth limit. The same defect in the Go implementation is covered by CVE-2026-102510 https://cveprocess.apache.org/cve5/CVE-2026-102510 . This issue affects Apache PLC4X: from 0.10.0 before 1.0.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.0.0, which fixes the issue. | ||||

| CVE-2026-98057 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-30 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ring-buffer: Add checking nr_subbufs to persistent ring buffer validation Sashiko reported that the code was using meta->nr_subbufs without making sure that it matched the nr_pages + 1 on data that was assuming the two were the same. Add a check to the persistent ring buffer validation code to make sure that the saved nr_subbufs matches what we expect. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98107 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-30 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: L2CAP: fix out-of-bounds write in l2cap_ecred_connect l2cap_chan_connect() tries to ensure there are no more than L2CAP_ECRED_CONN_SCID_MAX pending ECRED channels, so they fit in the same L2CAP_ECRED_CONN_REQ that l2cap_ecred_connect() constructs. However, the check only counts deferred channels. If 6 L2CAP sockets are connected at the same time in order DDDDND (D=deferred, N=non-deferred), the last can bump the total to max+1. It results to one __le16 written out of bounds of the scid array, and an invalid ECRED_CONN_REQ being sent. Fix by leaving room for the non-deferred pending ECRED channels in the counting in l2cap_chan_connect(), so the limit can't be exceeded. Move counting under same critical section where the channel is added. Although race conditions involving this appear unreachable, it's easier to see. Also add WARN_ON_ONCE check in l2cap_ecred_defer_connect() to make this less brittle. | ||||
| CVE-2026-102474 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-30 | 4 Medium |
| A flaw was found in dash. The printf builtin reserves four bytes before converting a Unicode \u or \U escape, but the multi-byte token can need five or six bytes. A local user who can supply such an escape to dash printf or echo %b, including through dash -c and a positional argument, can write one or two bytes past that reservation. | ||||
| CVE-2026-100368 | 1 Alastairlundy | 1 Cliinvoke.specializations | 2026-09-30 | 8.4 High |
| CliInvoke is a .NET library for invoking command-line programs, and its `CliInvoke.Specializations` packages provide specialized wrappers for shells such as PowerShell and Windows Command Prompt. `CliInvoke.Specializations` versions 2.2.0 through 2.8.4, 2.9.0 through 2.9.3, 2.10.0 through 2.10.4, 3.0.0-alpha.1 through 3.0.0-alpha.4, and 3.0.0-alpha.8 through 3.0.0-alpha.10, as well as `AlastairLundy.CliInvoke.Specializations` versions 1.0.0-rc.1 through 1.6.1.1, contain an OS command injection vulnerability in their PowerShell and Cmd wrappers. The wrappers pass a caller-controlled target and arguments to `pwsh -Command` or `cmd /c` using a single `ProcessStartInfo.Arguments` string, allowing a double quote in untrusted input to break operating-system-level quoting and cause the shell to execute an additional command with the host process's privileges. The vulnerability is patched in `CliInvoke.Specializations` versions 2.8.5, 2.9.4, 2.10.5, and 3.0.0-beta.1, and in `AlastairLundy.CliInvoke.Specializations` version 2.0.2. No complete workaround is available; users unable to upgrade should reject or remove double quotes from target paths and arguments, additionally reject shell metacharacters in versions 2.2.0 through 2.9.2 and 3.0.0-alpha.1 through 3.0.0-alpha.4, or bypass the PowerShell and Cmd wrappers and invoke target processes directly when handling untrusted input. | ||||
| CVE-2024-58376 | 1 Renovatebot | 1 Renovate | 2026-09-29 | 6.7 Medium |
| Renovate versions 37.158.0 before 37.199.0 contain a command injection vulnerability in the helmv3 manager's registryAliases handling that allows attackers with commit access to execute arbitrary commands. Attackers can manipulate registryAliases keys with unquoted shell metacharacters to inject commands executed during helm repo add operations, gaining full access to Renovate's execution environment. | ||||
| CVE-2026-76226 | 1 Renovatebot | 1 Renovate | 2026-09-29 | 6.3 Medium |
| Renovate versions from 43.65.0 before 43.102.11 contain a remote code execution vulnerability in bazel-module and bazelisk managers when using lockFileMaintenance. Attackers can execute arbitrary code by providing malicious dependencies that are referenced in bazel mod deps calls, such as within ctx.execute statements. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98029 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-29 | 7 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: eth: nfp: bound the ntuple rule dump by the caller's buffer size nfp_net_get_fs_loc() dumps every entry of nn->fs.list into rule_locs[] without consulting cmd->rule_cnt, which is how many entries the caller had room for. ETHTOOL_GRXCLSRLALL requires no CAP_NET_ADMIN and the ioctl sizes the buffer from the rule_cnt userspace passes in, so once an admin has installed flow steering rules any user can ask for fewer slots than there are rules and run off the end of the allocation. A rule_cnt of 0 leaves the buffer pointer NULL and the walk dereferences it. Bail out with -EMSGSIZE when the buffer fills up, the way the other ntuple capable drivers do, and report how many locations were filled so a shrinking rule list does not leave the caller reading stale slots. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98042 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-29 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Don't resurrect a scalar id dropped by collect_linked_regs() check_cond_jmp_op() copies the compared registers into env->{false,true}_reg{1,2} before collect_linked_regs() runs and copies those snapshots back into both branch states afterwards. collect_linked_regs() records at most LINKED_REGS_MAX members of a linked registers group in the jump history and calls clear_scalar_id() for every member that does not fit. The compared register is not exempt from that. As a consequence, sync_linked_regs() might adjust ranges for more registers than bpf_bt_sync_linked_regs() can propagate precision to. Collect the linked registers before the snapshots are taken instead. This might lead to some unnecessary clear_scalar_id's, but from previous testing situations with many linked registers are extremely rare. | ||||
